The Power Pause: Why Rebranding the Motherhood & Career Conversation Matters with Neha Ruch02 Jul 202500:46:17

What if pressing pause on your career isn’t the end—but the beginning of becoming more fully you?

In this episode, I sit down with Neha Ruch—founder of Mother Untitled and author of The Power Pause—to explore what it means to hold ambition and motherhood in the same breath. Neha shares her deeply personal story of stepping off the traditional career ladder after Stanford Business School, embracing full-time motherhood, and birthing a movement to rebrand what it means to be a “stay-at-home mom.”

Together, we unpack the emotional nuances of downshifting, the power of redefining success, and why support isn’t optional—it’s essential. Whether you're deep in the trenches of early motherhood, navigating the messy middle of building a creative dream, or sprinting into a new season of career growth, this episode will leave you feeling seen, supported, and more free to design a life that actually fits.

Tune in to hear:

  • Why Neha believes ambition doesn’t die in motherhood—it evolves

  • How she navigated career pauses without losing herself or her vision

  • What it really takes to keep a creative project alive in the early years

  • The truth about modern stay-at-home motherhood (and how it’s misrepresented)

  • How to communicate with your partner, kids, and yourself through career transitions

  • Why having help is not a luxury—it's a form of dignity

  • How to drop the guilt and trust the timing of your life

  • What “the new ambition” looks like for women leading in life and at home

About Neha Ruch:
Neha is the founder of Mother Untitled, a digital platform redefining ambition for women in caregiving seasons. A Stanford MBA and former brand strategist, Neha now leads conversations on modern motherhood, identity, and work. Her debut book The Power Pause: How to Plan a Career Break After Kids and Come Back Stronger Than Ever is out now from Putnam.

The Foundation of a Millionaire Mindset24 Jun 202500:29:31

Is it possible that the identity you’ve been clinging to is the very thing keeping you small?

In today’s episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on something deeper than strategy, content plans, or sales goals—your identity. Before we can build the business, make the money, or scale to our next level, we have to look at what’s happening underneath the surface. Because if your foundation is cracked, nothing built on top will feel sustainable.

Tune in to hear:

  • Why your results are only as strong as your root identity
  • How inherited beliefs about worthiness and success shape what you allow
  • Why fitting in often keeps us from standing out
  • What “belonging to yourself” means—and how it unlocks ease, money, and power
  • The subconscious ways we self-sabotage our visibility and expression
  • Why bigness doesn’t require more effort, but more truth
  • How I shifted from a $38K/year identity to making $100K+ months
  • Why it’s safe—and necessary—to be fully expressed

What to Do When a Client Is Struggling24 Aug 202200:25:18

Today’s topic is one of those things that is discussed behind closed and heavily guarded doors. However, it’s an important one that I believe affects anyone in the coaching and mentorship space. This is why I want to bring this topic out into the light and start opening a conversation up on how you can hold space for clients who are struggling.

As a coach or mentor, we can easily get sucked into this idea of us having to act as your client’s savior. That while they work with you in your container, they should be celebrating wins and accomplishing big things. In today’s episode, I’m sharing why hard seasons are normal for your clients and anyone else. I also discuss why this is part of the natural and messy journey of entrepreneurship, and why challenges are great opportunities for you and your client to dig deeper, grow, and move to a new level.

I also discuss your role as a mentor and why mentorship exists, and how mentorship isn’t about being someone’s savior but instead being someone’s mirror. If you’ve ever experienced a challenging season yourself, or maybe you’ve felt bad that your client was going through one, this episode is for you.

In this episode, we cover:

  • Why hard seasons are normal
  • Why we signed up for the messy journey of entrepreneurship
  • Why every single challenge you encounter is an opportunity to meet yourself at a deeper level
  • Why mentorship exists
  • The value of having support in your corner
  • Why it’s not your job to be your client’s savior

The Energetics of Investing09 Aug 202200:36:38

I am so excited to be back recording the Born to Rise podcast. After giving birth and experiencing life postpartum with baby number two, I’m buzzing with a ton of energy because of the topic we’re about to discuss today.

In today’s episode, I’m talking about the energetics of investing. This is a huge episode as I’ve made many big investments over the last year, with the most recent one being at almost half a million dollars. Whether it’s conditions that need to be in place before you make an investment or the worry that your investment will not pay off - if you’ve ever felt resistance to investing, this episode is for you.

I discuss the mindset you need to have to make big investments that pay off, why technically, your money needs to be somewhere, and how that thought is a core piece behind the energetics of investing. If you’re ready to invest like a multimillionaire and leverage the capital that’s available to you, then tune in, take notes, and let’s shift your mindset around investing.

In this episode, we cover:

  • How money brings up and triggers a lot of thoughts
  • Why you need to have a “this is going to pay off” mindset

Embodying The Fullness of Your Range as an Entrepreneur14 Jun 202200:21:01

How many times were you told to hold back on your range as a female entrepreneur? Oftentimes, women are told not to be “too emotional,” “too bold,” or “too much” of most things. We’re told that a number of negative things would happen if we operate in our full range, such as making others feel bad or coming off as unprofessional.

In today’s powerful episode, I’m speaking about why it’s so important for female entrepreneurs to operate and embody the fullness of their range. I start by explaining why most women bring their range down and what happens as a result. Then, I explain why we feel a false sense of security when we’re operating in the “safe zone” of our range. Finally, I speak about the importance of embodying both the fullness of your range as well as acknowledging the bottom of it.

This is an incredibly important and powerful episode that’ll inspire you to honor and embody your fullness, no matter what that might feel or look like for you.

In this episode, we cover:

  • Why do most women bring their range down?
  • What happens when women bring down the fullness of their range

Built to Scale: Create the Systems and Support to Reach Millions31 May 202200:52:08

Everyyyybody wants to talk about the “sexy” parts of making millions (Including me!) Magnetism, Money Mindset, Energetics, Juicy Branding, Launching, Strategy, Pricing, Offer Suite etc etc etc ALL of it matters. All of it is important. All of it directly contributes to how we’ve scaled to multiple millions over the last several years. -AND- The biggest gap in the conversation I’m seeing at the 7/multiple 7-figure level is this: Support, Systems & Infrastructure.

For many of us as CEOs this conversation feels inherently more, TBH, boring. It definitely doesn’t turn me on to talk about workflows, project management, or team onboarding. AND YET, if there is anything I’ve learned from making every single backend mistake as I’ve scaled:

  • from doing everything myself and not knowing how to delegate
  • to getting super overwhelmed, hiring reactively only to resent my new team, waste $$$, and crash & burn
doing everything on the fly with no repeatable processes, templates & systems
  • using “I’m a creative/visionary! I just am this way” as an excuse to have a disorganized AF backend when all I needed was the RIGHT guidance to compliment my skillset, not change me (newsflash - I am still super non tech savvy, I never go into ClickUp, and rarely touch the backend of our business)

Here’s the truth: The MOST important investment you can make in your business if you desire to scale spaciously, with ease, and in a way that supports your clients well is through having a backend that’s built to scale.

7 Ways Money Supports Me in Motherhood02 Apr 202500:40:30

What if being “well-resourced” as a mother isn’t selfish... but sacred?

In this solo episode, I’m diving into a topic that feels a little taboo but so necessary to talk about—money. Specifically, I’m sharing the seven ways that being financially resourced has supported my motherhood journey. From mental health and time freedom to parenting support and reconnecting with my identity outside of being “just mom,” these are the things that have made a massive difference for me.

I’m also opening up about my own story—how I went from hoarding bread from hotel buffets to becoming a well-resourced woman who can invest in things that help my family (and myself) thrive. If you’ve ever felt guilty for wanting more, or if you’ve questioned whether it’s “okay” to desire both wealth and deep connection… this episode is for you.

I truly believe more money in the hands of mothers changes everything—and I hope this episode inspires you to see just how supported and resourced you’re meant to be.

Tune in to hear:

The 1% Doubt That Lives in Every F_ck Yes01 Feb 202200:16:33

Being all in and choosing your direction is very different from being 100% certain that things are going to work out perfectly.

Recently, I made a post on Instagram that garnered a lot of attention. In turn, it sparked many great conversations with people in my audience. So much so that today, I want to discuss it on my podcast. You hear people talk about taking a leap or making that first step to say “yes” to something scary. But many people also wrongfully assume that these decisions come with 100% confidence and certainty.

Spoiler alert: It does not. That’s why in today’s episode, I’m talking about the doubt that lives in every “yes,” and why you don’t need to feel absolutely confident and certain in order to make a decision and take that leap of faith. What I share in today’s episode rings true whether it’s a business, personal, or creative decision. So tune in and find comfort in the fact that expansion will always come with uncertainty.

In this episode, we cover:

  • Why there will always be that shred of doubt [2:51]
  • Allowing yourself to want the things you want without perceiving the margin as evidence for you not being ready [4:03]
  • Being able to move forward despite uncertainty [6:13]
  • Why focusing on the 1% means you’re missing the point [9:00]
  • What it means to decide and commit [10:34]
  • Why you should find yourself despite that 1% fear [12:25]
  • Where are you demanding certainty and how to shift your narrative [13:54]

I’m not a huge fan of unsubstantiated claims and guarantees, but the unconventional sales advice that I share in this episode is going to radically change the way you approach your launches, relate to clients, and make your sale. This isn’t a step-by-step sales process, but a singular transmission that will change your relationship with the sales process altogether.

You’re going to want to tune in and take notes as I talk about the importance of examining your attachment style, checking in with your emotional defenses, and the mechanisms that you operate on subconsciously in order to make sales and selling feel more natural and easy.

In this episode, we cover:

  • What is an attachment style? (6:23)
  • Following up in a heart-centered way (10:33)
  • Why relationships are at the heart of sales (12:12)
  • Why achieving emotional safety isn’t helping you or your clients (16:30)
  • How attachment can actively play out to strip the armor away (21:26)
  • What if you were so secure in your own power, potential, and wealth? (26:14)
  • Why you’re worthy despite what any number says (33:42)

Alignment is Velocity with Jill Stanton14 Dec 202100:47:17

It takes bravery and courage to pivot and let go of an identity that no longer aligns with where and who you are.

No one knows that better than my guest, Jill Stanton. In today’s episode, Jill and I have a free-flowing and open conversation about pivoting, why she made the terrifying decision to let go of her biggest revenue generator, and why alignment is ultimately velocity. She also dives into the profoundly confusing process of facing the things that no longer align by sharing mindset shifts and advice on letting go.

Jill discusses her personal experience of becoming a mom, and why motherhood has taught her the lesson of not caring so much about what people think. This is an eye-opening conversation about redefining what you should be doing and why you should reinvent the wheel in business. Tune in and take this as a permission slip to be incredibly ruthless about where you’re spending your time and investing in what truly matters.

  • Why Jill ultimately pivoted her business and let go of her biggest revenue generator

How to Embody Your Next Level Identity & Why Doing So Will Expedite Your Road to Millions09 Dec 202100:40:22

Your product suite, marketing, pricing, and business doesn’t matter if there’s a crack in your foundation.

In today’s episode, we’re diving deep into the importance of identity and why it matters in business, leadership, and entrepreneurship. I’m taking you through a journey of understanding the essence of your identity as a woman, a female entrepreneur, and a leader in your respective field. I discuss the different layers of our identities from the ones we inherit, the identities we cling on to based on a past version of ourselves, and the identities that stem from our values.

The work that I discuss is the foundation you need in place before any mindset or belief work can be done. Belief impacts behavior and behavior impacts results. But in order to work on your beliefs, you need to understand the identity of the person who is believing, thinking, and perceiving.

If you want to reshape your mindset and limiting beliefs, this episode is for you. Tune in as I guide you through the inner work of embodying a bigger identity that redefines what it means for you to belong, no matter where you are in business or life.

  • How to embody a bigger identity (10:17)
  • The fundamental story that you need to rewrite in order to step into the biggest version of yourself (19:55)
  • How to find success in all areas in your life (26:50)

How to Invest Like a Millionaire30 Nov 202100:12:38

Many online entrepreneurs approach business and personal money in an intertwined way, and who can blame us?

After bootstrapping our way from the ground up, we’re used to using whatever resources we have available at the moment. Oftentimes as our business starts to boom, we make the decision to invest in our business from a personal vantage point and not as a CEO. In today’s episode, I’m offering my best tips and guidance on how you can invest like a millionaire CEO so you can get the best ROIs from your investments.

I’m talking about the mindset you need to have before making an investment. I share why you should not make an investment from your personal fears, desires, and needs. But instead, I make a case for the millionaire mindset and practice of investing like a CEO who puts their capital to work. This episode reveals a very important mindset shift that will make you feel more wealthy, abundant, and empowered in your financial making decisions and leadership skills.

Whether you’re a brand new or established entrepreneur, this short but value-packed episode will change the way you approach your investments so that you can make educated, sound, and empowered investments that produce high ROIs so you can scale your business.

In this episode, we cover:

  • Why you feel a physical resistance and contraction when investing (2:19)
  • The important distinction that most business owners fail to recognize around fear and money (4:49)
  • What millionaires don’t do with their money and why you shouldn’t either (7:44)
  • How to create your own money momentum (10:10)
