Dr Mark Kestner is the Chief Innovation Officer of MediGuru, a software platform for enabling Telemedicine solutions

Mark started his career within biomedical engineering eventually going on to apply for medical school at the University of Michigan, USA. Upon the completion of his degree instead of beginning his practise of medicine within Michigan, he decided to conduct his fourth year of residency at the US Army which led to him moving to West Germany. Mark worked through various different roles throughout his career and eventually began private practise as a trauma critical care surgeon but had quickly come to the realisation that a change was needed in the healthcare system which began his journey towards telemedicine solutions.
