Ep. 247 Should I Start with a Smaller or Larger Program?28 nov. 202300:17:48

“Okay, so you all have a way that you work with your patients and clients one-on-one, you've just never mapped it all out. So your brilliant file cabinet of a brain pulls out a folder here, opens this drawer, moves this one handout out…that’s what you're doing constantly in your brain. Instead of doing that over and over again, what if you could dump out that entire file cabinet and take all those file folders and all those pieces of paper and all those tools in your toolbox and all the pieces that you use and put them into a streamlined step-by-step system? That’s what you're gonna do with your program.”

Tune in as Stephanie Clairmont walks the path to discovering the best duration for your tailored digital health courses, looking into taking content usually covered in one-to-one sessions, and creating an efficient system that ensures your clients receive comprehensive and personalized guidance. Whether your program lasts six weeks, 12 weeks, or even longer, the focus is on evading redundancy and offering extra support to your clients. Ep. 216 Mentorship vs. Business Coaching: What Do You Need?28 févr. 202300:19:39

Stephanie explains the difference between a business coach, consultant, and mentor, and how to decide which one you need!

A business coach is there to guide you through a particular issue in your business, whether related to sales, marketing, operations, leadership, or mindset. Depending on your goals, you typically meet with your coach anywhere from once a week to once a month on an hourly basis.

A business consultant, on the other hand, is committed to you on a project basis. The hours they put into helping their clients are not as important as the outcome they intend to achieve. You might hire a consultant to help you build a lead magnet funnel or a course or program. Or they might be there to perform an audit on your operations or management system.

Finally, there are business mentors (or advisors). Mentorship can be free! We find them in the form of professionals who are ahead of us in our field, who are willing to put aside some of their valuable time to take us under their wing, to give us a safe space to ask questions and learn from them directly!

Key Topics:

  • Defining what “business coaching” is, and what it isn’t (6:12)
  • What differentiates a business coach from a business consultant (7:58)
  • Why most of us need a business mentor or advisor (8:50)
  • Which one do you need? (14:23)

Her online program and community, “Pleasure Principles,” is a self-paced platform which takes on ten clients at a time.

Listen in as Jordin shares how she was able to steer her exclusively 1-to-1 naturopathic practice towards an online group format by removing what’s repeatable, making incremental changes over time, and ensuring that the value she was going to offer in a group setting would be three times more valuable than anything clients could get from her 1-to-1.
