| Episode #292 - Writers' Room: Cosmic Tales Vol. 2 #525 & #526 | 03 Sep 2024 | 01:48:34 | |
Two issues? What an ideal number. Should would be a shame if someone came along who wanted THREE things instead... Show Notes: Run Time: 1:48:33 Finally, you get to hear the story we crafted when we recorded this episode AND the Benchmark foes creative process... and I don't feel like this episode ended up much shorter! Sure, it's shy of the two hour mark, but only by a bit, and there's still plenty of tale told in the episode! Plus, who doesn't love more Dr. Kronz? Join us next week for a Writer's Room about the Time Trust one-shot!
| Episode #291 - Creative Process: Benchmark Foes | 27 Aug 2024 | 02:03:37 | |
It's the first Creative Process in a long time! Will this become some sort of new standard?! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:03:36 This is the first of two episodes we recorded in one day, and we inteded to go through it (and next week's episode) quickly to make two in one day possible... but look at that run time! Geeze! Well, we probably learned our lesson for next week. Time will tell! We talk a bunch about the sorts of foes that Benchmark faces and make up some new ones! And also answer many questions! We already recorded next week's episode, but as we mention at the end of the episode, the following week we'll be talking about Time Trust, so get your questions in for that story now!
| Episode #286 - Writers' Room: Disparation Vol. 2 #58 | 25 Jun 2024 | 01:52:49 | |
We're off to another world! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:52:48 We hit the ground running with this one, and I've got IDEAS! Do they pan out? Wait and see! Another thrilling tale from the pages of Disparation, just in time for July, which will be mostly about Legacies... and Skeleton Key, I guess? Thanks everyone for listening! If you're interested in more, check out The Letters Page Patreon here!
| Episode #226 - Writers' Room: NightMist #114 | 04 Oct 2022 | 01:27:33 | |
We're ready to have a howlin' good time! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:27:32 The spooky times have begun, and they're off with quite the start! We recorded this episode AND next week's episode on the same day, but don't hesitate to send us any questions; we can always get to them on a future episode! If you're on the Patreon, join us for a live show on Friday, October 14th!
| Episode #225 - Writers' Room: Cosmic Tales Vol. 2 #531 | 27 Sep 2022 | 01:48:32 | |
What's happening out in space? Nothing much, right? Show Notes: Run Time: 1:48:31 Adam is sick! Christopher is injured! But, against all odds, they perseverse and end up telling a tale they're both very proud of. Does it hold up? Do you folks like it as much as we do? Gosh, we hope so! But first, we gotta tell you all about the recording schedule from now through the end of the year! With conventions, holidays, and other travel, our recording schedule is weird for most of the rest of the year. We'll make sure to share the details again in each upcoming Editor's Note, but we wanted to talk through it as well today, since it matters for question submission. Anyway, we go through the whole thing on the air. Tune in and find out! We hope you enjoy this story! It quickly became one of our favorites. Also, get your questions for both Episodes #226 and #227 (Writers’ Room: NightMist and Alpha vs The Court of Blood and Writers’ Room: Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 3 #11, respectively) before this coming Friday, as we're recording both on that day!
| Editor's Note #59 | 20 Sep 2022 | 01:52:10 | |
It's another thrilling day, here on the cusp of the spooky months! We're excited for what's to come... Show Notes: Run Time: 1:52:09 Before we get into answering questions, interacting with the chat, and telling stories, we go over the monthly schedule! (That is, after goofing around a bit, as per usual.)
(We give a mild story spoiler about each of these during the recording. Listen and find out!) Then, we get into answering questions, interacting with the chat, and telling stories! It goes pretty well, and a bit longer than the usual Editor's Note! Join us next time for Episode #225, which is a Writers' Room episode featuring both Greazer and Fashion?! Who authorized this?!?! It's gonna be... well, interesting likely doesn't even begin to cut it. Time will tell! Join us then!
| Episode #224 - Creative Process: Harpy Foes | 13 Sep 2022 | 01:33:35 | |
Good morning, Avians and Arcanists! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:33:34 What kind of foes are around for a Hero who is mostly a protégé/sidekick/team member for the comparatively short time that she's a hero, especially in relation to the very long time she spent incarcerated after her ONE big villainous outing? Well, that's what this episode is all about! Listen in and learn more! Join us next week for an Editor's Note — if you're on the Letters Page Patreon, join in the fun with us this Friday at 11 AM Central for a live recording of that Editor's Note!
| Episode #223 - Fanatic #27 | 06 Sep 2022 | 01:28:57 | |
The Last Temptation? EVER?! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:28:56 We start off by talking about a cat, but not a real cat! Sorry for getting sidetracked. You know us. Then we talk about Fanatic! And Apostate! And a story that you know, but we've never gotten this in-depth on.
| Episode #222 - Writers' Room: Freedom Five #293 | 30 Aug 2022 | 01:31:36 | |
It's an older story, but it still checks out! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:31:35 We had a lot of fun telling this story! As we mention on the air, we knew many elements of this story going into it, but the stuff we DIDN'T know really bloomed over the course of the recording. We hope you enjoy it, too! Join us next week for another Writers' Room about another early story: "The Last Temptation of Helena!"
| Editor's Note #58 | 23 Aug 2022 | 01:25:32 | |
Another thrilling Editor's Note! Now, with 100% more online collaboration! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:25:31 We're all over the place on this one, as is often the case with live shows... but even MORE so this time! We weave together letter reading, question answering, environment creating, and goof making, one after another with no discernable pattern. Does that make for good listening? Seems unlikely... but perhaps? You decide! Also, there's a schedule of upcoming episodes! They look a little something like this:
Here is a link to the document in which we created the Environment (which we "finalized" a few days after this recording — SPOILERS: we don't even finish it on the air and have to pick it back up later: classic us). Anyway, that doc is pre-editing for both rules consistency and typographical errors. Just enough to make it work and go into playtesting. But that's OK! SCRPG environments are hardy and can stand up to a lot of variation. If anything, we're pretty such we made this one too rough, but that's what you get when you go to a dinosaur island with an active volcano and then you add a bunch of Void nonsense on top of it! Join us next week for an episode about Aminia Twain saving the Freedom Five! We like to call this one "Episode #222". Pretty catchy, right?
| Gen Con Live 2022! | 16 Aug 2022 | 01:37:04 | |
Paul and I did an episode live! Many of you joined us! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:37:16 Trevor did a great job not just making sure the audio worked for making this episode, but also making everything work live, AND he and his partner Jenny sang all of the musical bits LIVE! It was a delight to see him in his element. Meanwhile, Paul and Christopher goofed around on stage, but we brought a lot of you in on it, so the community aspect of this live episode was through the roof. Thank you for explaining Sentinel Comics to my cohost! If you're on the Letters Page Patreon, please tune in at 11 AM Central time this Friday for this month's Editor's Note livestream show! We're following up from the Nexus Primalis Creative Process episode and making a playable SCRPG Environment with YOUR help! Join us!
| Gen Con Breakisode! | 09 Aug 2022 | 00:07:31 | |
Surprise! Are you surprised? Probably not! Not that we have a lot to say here. Just wanted to hop on and chat a bit, rather than releasing nothing at all — that's no fun! We hope you all had a great Gen Con. Heck, we hope we did, too! We recorded and scheduled this minisode at the same time as last week's episode, so this message is time traveling. Like all messages, if you really think about it. Yay, time shenanigans! Join us next Friday (the 19th, not this coming Friday) for the recording of Editor's Note #58! Sure to be a grand time!
| Episode #221 - Creative Process: Nexus Primalis | 02 Aug 2022 | 01:22:52 | |
It's just another episode... or is it? (No it is not.) Show Notes: Run Time: 1:22:51 We are plagued by technical difficulties! Early on, Adam says "nothing should be changed", but that doesn't bear out. Give it a listen and see how well Trevor was able to piece together our nonsense! We're setting up Gen Con right now — if you're at the show, come visit us in booth #1321! Next week is our regularly schedule Gen Con break, and the week after that will be the recording of the Gen Con LIVE show! After that, on Friday, August 19th, we'll be recording Editor's Note #58, which will be a follow-up to this episode, which we talk about (unexpectedly) during today's episode! If you're on The Letters Page Patreon, please tune in! This will be a community effort! We look forward to a massive creative process with all of you!
| Editor's Note #80 | 18 Jun 2024 | 01:39:11 | |
Good morning, everyone! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:39:10 We've got new branding! Thanks to the amazing art of Adam and the terrible tenacity of Trevor, our website and icons all look better than ever! We've never looked this great before. July has FIVE Tuesdays, and we'll be releasing episodes on each of them! Upcoming schedule:
Turns out, people really like Legacy? So, get ready for a Very Legacy July here in the summer of 2024. We answer so many questions from your letters and from the live chat. Want to be a part of the live chat? Interested in submitting topics, and then voting for what we talk about? Consider joining The Letters Page Patreon! It's pretty great! See you next week for the last episode in June, all about the Disparation story where Kismet ruled the world!
| Episode #220 - Writers' Room: Southwest Sentinels #34 | 26 Jul 2022 | 01:35:41 | |
A Southwest Sentinels story? It's been so long! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:35:40 We're counting down the days until Gen Con, but we're not quite there yet! We reached out to the Letters Page Patreon contributors for some help narrowing down this topic, and we got a story we might not have told otherwise, which was a blast! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Get your questions in now about Nexus Primalus, as we're creatively processing that strange place this coming Friday for next week's episode!
| Editor's Note #57 | 19 Jul 2022 | 01:16:37 | |
Another successful live show in the bag! Here's the audio. Show Notes: Run Time: 1:16:37 Too much time spent on banter last time! Here's the upcoming schedule:
We start off by answering questions about OblivAeon... and then it spirals downward continues fruitfully and interestingly from there! Join us next week for Episode #220: Writers' Room: A minor villain gets a major triumph! Who can it be?! Time will tell...
| Episode #219 - Creative Process: Scholar Villains | 12 Jul 2022 | 02:02:48 | |
Villains for such a friendly fellow? How can it be?! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:02:47 We start off with a real life tale of peril! If you don't want to hear about me and some of my friends in real life danger, I recommend skipping ahead to around the 35 minute mark. That said, it's a helluva story! And everyone survives! Uh, spoilers, I guess. Then, we make some villains! We're all over the place on this one, and we're thrilled with the things we came up with. A real cornucopia of evil. Join us next week for an Editor's Note, or, if you're on the Letters Page Patreon, join us this Friday for the live recording of that Editor's Note!
| Episode #218 - Writer's Room: Freedom Five #683 | 05 Jul 2022 | 01:48:11 | |
It's pirate time! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:48:10 We've got quite the story for you today, and it's all happening live (except for the fact that I did a bunch of middle of the night thinking about the story before we recorded, as discussed on the air). We tell more than just an issue or two of story in today's episode — we range far and wide, but still manage to go deep on more than just today's cover issue! We've been on a creative roll, and you get to reap the benefits! Join us next time for a Creative Process episode all about Scholar Villains! Get your questions in now!
| Episode #217 - Disparation Vol. 1 #13 | 28 Jun 2022 | 01:38:16 | |
Time to get BOLD! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:38:15 Whew, this is a big one! We've been thinking about this story internally for a while, and we're excited to get to share it with all of you! We hope you enjoy it! Special thanks today to Greater Than Games employees SaRae Henderson and Twuana Price for their helpful advice and consideration on the history and depiction of this story. Join us next week, when we tell a La Capitan story!
| Editor's Note #56 | 21 Jun 2022 | 01:11:00 | |
Another episode recorded at an odd time! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:11:19 Since we recorded this episode about a week early, we didn't know at the time of recording what the outcome of the voting would be, but we know now! So, here we go: Upcoming schedule:
We talk about a bunch of topics, including a fair bit about Definitive Edition stuff, and we take a bunch of live questions from the Patreon Discord, too! It's an Editor's Note! You know how it goes, probably. Get your questions in for those upcoming episodes! We look forward to reading your letters!
| Episode #216 - Disparation Vol. 2 #2 | 14 Jun 2022 | 01:45:00 | |
Ve vant to tell you stories! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:44:59 Vampires! A whole world of them?! You betcha! We do some goofs, and then get down to crafting a lot of story! Next week is this month's Editor's Note, but we already recorded it! But we'll have a whole new slate of episodes for next month coming soon!
| Episode #215 - Disparation Vol. 2 #103 | 07 Jun 2022 | 01:26:15 | |
Time for a bit of passionate heroics! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:26:14 We're into the month of June! Disparation all month! Will it wear out its welcome? Who can say? Time will tell! First, we get into the heady topic of "chip clips" and then solve them. Also, we tackle fries. Is this the return of the food episode? Listen and find out! This coming Friday, we're recording an episode about "Vampire World". Get your questions in before the sun rises and we all turn to dust!
| Episode #214: Writers' Room: Justice Comics #695 | 31 May 2022 | 01:23:11 | |
We'll paint you a story! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:23:10 It's Adam's birthday! Today is the day! As a result — or, actually, because you demanded it — we tell a frankly silly story that ends up doing some interesting things. And also we read your letters! This was the first of two episodes recorded in one day, as I'm now in the UK for a week and a half for UK Games Expo! (If you'll be at the show, come hang out with us in Booth #1-852!) But, was this the BEST episode we recorded today? You'll just have to find out next week!
| Editor's Note #55 | 24 May 2022 | 01:34:35 | |
A irregularly recorded but regularly released Editor's Note! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:34:34 We talk about many things, but first, the schedule! Upcoming schedule:
Questions from all over and about all things! A lot related to Sentinel Comics: the Roleplaying Game, including a request to get a list of the official SCRPG Livestreams that we did here at GTG HQ, so here they are: Enjoy! This coming Friday, May 27th, we'll be recording TWO episodes! First, we'll record Episode #214: Writers' Room: Setback & Unity team-up, which will be released on May 31st, which is Adam's Birthday! We'll also record Episode #215: Writers' Room: Disparation —Inversiverse Galactra, which will be released on June 7th. Get your questions for both in now now now!
| Episode #285 - Writers' Room: Wipeout #1-#4 | 11 Jun 2024 | 02:03:51 | |
W-w-w-w-w-w-wipeout!! Show Notes: Run Time: 2:03:50 That's right, we broke the two hour mark. Again. Sorry! If it makes you feel better, it's because we did an entire limited run of a comic book title! I'll bet you'll never guess which title, though... If you're on the Letters Page Patreon (and if you're not, why not?) join us this coming Friday at 11 AM Central for a live recording of Editor's Note #80! Which will be next week's episode! But, I highly recommend being there live, if possible. We might just have some secret plans...
| Episode #213 — Justice Comics Vol. 2, Issue #5 | 17 May 2022 | 01:38:33 | |
A spooky tale?! From the Sentinels Universe?! NOT IN NOVEMBER?! Huge if true. Show Notes: Run Time: 1:38:33 We hit the ground running at speeds unlike any we have ever reached! And yet, we STILL spend a chunk of time on the story and also read and answer a variety of letters! If you're listening to this right when it comes out and you're a Letters Page Patreon subscriber, you can join us live for this month's Editor's Note RIGHT NOW! Come join in! Also, join us next week for Episode #214: Writers' Room: Setback & Unity team-up! Get your questions in now!

Time for a trio team-up! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:23:28 This one was a tough story to make work! We go down a lot of false trails before fighting out how we want to make this happen. They can't all be easy! We hope you enjoy this peek behind the curtain, seeing what's it's like when we're struggling. All part of the process! Get your Absolute Zero and Muerto questions in now! We're recording on Wednesday this week (tomorrow!) instead of Friday, and recording TUESDAY of next week! That's right! The live show next week is being recorded only a couple hours after next week's episode goes live! Join us!
| Episode #211: Mechanics of Definitive Edition | 03 May 2022 | 01:05:06 | |
Let's get mechanical! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:05:05 We start in the semantic weeds, right off the bat! And that's what you've got to look forward to for this episode! OK, OK, though the first few letters are pretty mechanically in-depth, we DO get into the more "Hows" and "Whys" of how the mechanics and the thematics match up. It's not all just "how do these cards interact" questions! Join us next week when we kick off the rest of this joyous Adam's birth month with a Team-Up episode with Episode #212: a Writers' Room episode about Young Legacy, Unity, and The Harpy!
| Episode #210 - Writers' Room: Neighborhood Watch #5 | 26 Apr 2022 | 01:49:53 | |
A new story! A new team of heroes face some new villains! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:49:52 We start in rare, ridiculous form. And then it gets even more ridiculous. But then! Finally! We start telling stories! And we tell several, to make up for all the ridiculousness. A lot of the content in today's episode references the newest Sentinel Comics RPG book: The Guise Book! You can get the physical book from our webstore or from your friendly local gaming store, or get just the PDF from DriveThruRPG! Thanks for listening, everyone! Join us next week for a discussion on the game mechanics of Definitive Edition! Get your questions in now!

An entire 3 issue arc? YOU BET! Spoilers, I guess. Anyway, enjoy! Join us next time for a live Editor's Note!
| Episode #208: Creative Process: Æternus Connected Hero | 05 Apr 2022 | 01:25:37 | |
Let's take this podcast straight to hell! Er, to heck! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:25:36 We start off with some April Fools "pranks"? We recorded this episode on April 1st, so it seemed only right. But! We don't get too hung up on it, instead defaulting to our usual banter. And then! We make a couple of characters! Lots of new stuff here, so no spoilers in these notes — gotta listen to find out! Join us next week for Episode #209: Writer's Room: An Omnitron-X story!
| Episode #207: Sky-Scraper Foes | 29 Mar 2022 | 01:21:55 | |
Who wouldn't like Sky-Scraper?! These people. That's who. Show Notes: Run Time: 1:21:54 We start with a bit of banter, especially about Adam's frankly immature chickens. We talk about a fair number of villains — some you know about, some you want to know more about, some you've never heard of! Also, the Rook City Renegades Kickstarter is still going on for a couple more days! Don't miss it!
| Editor's Note #53 | 22 Mar 2022 | 01:23:42 | |
An Editor's Note! Recorded on a Saturday?! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:23:41 Christopher just got back from a show, but recording still must happen! There's a bunch of weirdness at the start with reading names from the Discord chat that have "honh honh honh" in them. It's a real inside cricket joke. And then people share their pet pictures, which we talk about — fantastic radio, I tell you. Upcoming episodes!
Don't forget, the Rook City Renegades Kickstarter is still live! Check it out!
| Episode #206: Writers' Room: RevoCorp Presents: Earth Inc. One-Shot | 15 Mar 2022 | 01:29:40 | |

Lots of good stuff in this one. Even more Definitive Editions letters today, so more As to your Qs! This coming episode is an Editor's Note, which means we have a live show between now and then. Normally, we record on Friday at 11 AM, but I'm currently in Reno for a tabletop industry trade show, so instead we're going live on Saturday morning at 11 AM! If you're on the Letters Page Patreon, join us then! Thanks for listening, everyone! Don't forget to check out the Rook City Renegades expansion, now on Kickstarter!
| Episode #284 - Writers' Room: Rook City Renegades #22 | 04 Jun 2024 | 01:40:35 | |
I'll bet you'll never guess which villains are the dueling stars of this episode. Show Notes: Run Time: 1:40:34 The day of recording was Adam's Birthday! And then, this most recent Saturday was Intergalactic Same Age Day! Did you all enjoy being suddenly and inexplicably 40? Pretty great, right? Heck yeah. Anyway, now everyone is back to their just and proper ages, and it's time to talk about two villains who are mad at each other. Rest assured, this is an ongoing feud! They continue to dislike each other right up to the end of the Multiverse... and beyond! Join us next week for Episode #285, a story all about Wipeout!
| Episode #205 - Creative Process: NightMist Supporting Cast | 08 Mar 2022 | 01:31:19 | |
Who is in the magic lady's life? Show Notes: Run Time: 1:31:18 We start off with a bit of talk about the ongoing Kickstarter, and then we get into NightMist's friends/associates/allies! We talk about a bunch of people — many you've heard of, and several you haven't! We also get a number of questions both about this episode stuff and previous episodes! You know how this goes. Thanks for listening! Catch you next time!
| Episode #204: Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive Edition! | 01 Mar 2022 | 01:52:25 | |

This is a long episode, and it's mostly letters... from you! Which is what Christopher and Adam read! That's, like, what we do. Also, speaking of Definitive Edition: the first expansion for Sentinels of the Multiverse Definitive Edition is live as of 10 AM Central today! It's pretty thrilling! Get in on the action!
| Episode #203 - Writers' Room: Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 4 #50 | 22 Feb 2022 | 01:20:43 | |
This is a weird one... but we really enjoyed it! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:20:42 Say goodbye to the "Month of Love" with this wild take on the topic! Will this be a throwaway story? Or will it be the beginning of something dreadful?! Or!!! Is it just really silly? Who can say?! Sorry, I had a whole bushel of ?s and !s that were about to go bad, so I wanted to use them up. Anyway, listen and learn! We had a great time, and I think we told a pretty compelling tale in the process. Catch you next time for Episode #204: Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive Edition! (And the launch of the Rook City Renegades Kickstarter?!)
| Editor's Note #52 | 15 Feb 2022 | 01:36:12 | |

| Episode #202 - Writers' Room: Freedom Five #508 | 08 Feb 2022 | 01:07:12 | |
Are you ready for a wedding?! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:07:11 The long-awaited marriage of Meredith Stinson and Dana Bertrand! About time! We also take some questions on the topic, as well as some letters that go a bit further afield. All good stuff, though! A fun episode, by our estimation. Next week is this month's Editor's Note, which will be a Shipping follow-up! Get your questions in now!
| |||
| Episode #201 - Return of the Shipping Episode | 01 Feb 2022 | 01:43:02 | |
Oh, hey there. Welcome. Show Notes: Run Time: 1:43:01 Did you like our new intro music? I sure did! It's amazing. What is this episode all about? Your shipping letters! There are a lot of them. So many that we didn't get through all of them. Spoilers, I guess. Point is, this month's Editor's Note will involve MORE Shipping letters! We have so many left in the hopper still. Next week's episode is Tachyon's wedding! Get your questions in now!
| Episode #200 - Writers' Room: Stranger in a Strange World #27 | 25 Jan 2022 | 01:11:16 | |

| Publisher's Note #11 | 18 Jan 2022 | 01:11:47 | |
A Publisher's Note?! What is happening?! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:11:46 Adam is incapacitated, so Paul stepped in and we talked about a lot of things! Unfortunately, Paul's microphone is very bad, so the audio is not great. We'll do better next time! Here's the upcoming schedule!
We also take a bunch of questions, including many lingering Paul questions, and even a couple of game shows! Join us next time for — hopefully — Episode 200: a feel-good story, and the return of Adam! Fingers crossed
| Episode #199 - Writers' Room: The Guise Book #50 | 11 Jan 2022 | 01:48:43 | |
Oh no, is Guise in trouble?!?! Run Time: Show Notes: 1:48:42 It's a new year! We made it to 2022, everyone! Shocking, we know. Christopher and Adam are surprised by the weather, but not to worry — it's cold again now. But it wasn't for a little while! Before we get into it, we do a bit of mild campaigning for one particular episode we'd love to record next month. So, if you're a supporter of our Patreon, go vote! Then, we create a story! We had some intention from the start, but no real plans... until they unfold organically! Just like these often go, but with more Guise than usual! Speaking of the Patreon, if you're on there, join us this Friday for a live Editor's Note! First one of the year! We hope to see you there!
| Definitive-Sode | 04 Jan 2022 | 00:10:48 | |
Welcome to 2022! New year — new version (of Sentinels of the Multiverse) By this point, Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive Edition has been delivered to many of you, and it's on the way to the rest of you as we speak! We've been sitting on a number of questions about Definitive Edition, and there are still more of them that we're not getting to today — for reasons we discuss in this very mini-sode — but we take on a few of them now, with promises to talk about more stuff in the future! Let's make this year the best one yet!
| Episode #283 - Writers’ Room: Bunker in space: Cosmic Tales Vol. 2 #391-#396 | 28 May 2024 | 02:05:12 | |
SIX issues in the title?! Yup. Show Notes: Run Time: 2:05:11 Another episode that cracks 2 hours... we didn't set out to tell this much of a tale, but we were on a roll! Plus, we quite like this villainous foil for our beloved Tyler Vance. We also get to questions. A friendly reminder! Please, try to keep your letters UNDER 5ish paragraphs. If you've gotta go over, make it for a good reason. We believe in you! You write great letters! You can do this! We just want to hear from as many people as possible, not just giant letters from a few folks. Sorry to be a bummer about this! Join us next week for the first episode of June, 2024! Episode #284 will be a Writers' Room all about two villains who are nemeses with each other! Get your questions in now!
| Sellout-Sode | 28 Dec 2021 | 00:07:09 | |
What's all this then? This mini-episode is in reaction to this very event. Will this change who we are as people? One can hope! Happy holidays, everyone! This last year was momentous for a lot of reasons, but we had a great time making Letters Page episodes for all of you, and we're looking forward to even more in the coming year! Thanks for being part of our show!
| Editor's Note #51 | 21 Dec 2021 | 00:59:16 | |
Last Editor's Note of the year! Show Notes: Run Time: 59:16 We start with some goofs and some holiday singing, and then we get to apologies and corrections! We had been previously calling someone by the wrong name — his actual name is "Trickline the Despoiler", not "Tripline". Whoops. Also, the bar name is "The Wretched Hive", not "Scum and Villainy". You all know this. We just make mistakes a lot? Sorry! What's coming up for the first month of the new year?
Can we pull it off? Time will tell! This episode, we talk about:
See you next year! | |||
| Episode #198 - Creative Process: Villainous Holiday Plots | 14 Dec 2021 | 01:21:03 | |
Let's get festive! Show Notes: Run Time: 1:21:02 We don't have a specific plan, so we start telling stories, and this leads to giving away more than we originally intended. No worries! That's what we're here to do! This episode ends up almost being a series of lightning round Writers' Rooms! If you're on the Letters Page Patreon, join us this Friday for a live Editor's Note, which will be the last episode of the year! We hope to see you there!
