We move onto his years working at the brilliant Musical Exchanges store in Birmingham (including an amazing story about the time Eddie Van Halen and Tony Iommi stopped by) through to his start in radio and onto a varied career in broadcasting, while still maintaining a healthy musical career too.

This week I'm talking to actor/singer/guitarist Sam Pope. We talk about starting out in his younger years, through to his first professional gig playing Steve Marriott in the All Or Nothing musical, moving on to American Idiot, then being all set to go on the tour of Bat Out Of Hell, only to have everything come to a grinding halt like all other actors and musicians during Covid. We then move on to how things took a very unexpected turn due to TikTok, and his new found fame thanks to Sea Shanties!

This week I have a brilliant talk with legendary producer/engineer/mixer Tony Platt about his vast career including being on now-legendary recording sessions, working his way up to make a name for himself, recording with Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Foreigner, Buddy Guy, and of course AC/DC. This interview also features THE most brilliant story on how he recorded the bell for Hells Bells (which almost featured pigeons)...
