Ed Clarke published his first Latin textbook in his early twenties and more recently began work on the Clarke's Latin project and then Clarke’s Greek. Caroline Bristow is the current Director of the Cambridge Schools Classics Project and is overseeing the much-anticipated 5th edition of the Cambridge Latin Course. The biggest overhaul the series has undergone since its launch in the 1970s, the 5th edition includes the introduction of a sister for Quintus and some major changes to the existing storyline and content.  Caroline paints herself as a reluctant Latinist and states that her appointment to the role was somewhat controversial.
