Act 5: God's Breath - Episode 26 continues the story 5 months after the events of God's Eye. Team Masticate is on life support. Morraine Moss is missing, abducted from her family farm by Pisces agents. Jake Blevins is dead, his body devoured on another planet. Detective Thomas Thompson is in a coma after the car crash in Reno, a result of Agent Robin Reyes' murder of the driver. Only Agent Frank Campbell remains from the original Cornucopia House raid. New Federal Agent Bob Barnewell is selected by Handler Antony Pitzarelli to join the group. Bob, Robin Reyes, and Frank Campbell assemble in Denver to look into the death of a inmate in the local jail. A friendly reported that some kind of alien worm burst from the inmate's chest before being burned by the guards. Masticate in particular is a perfect fit for this job as the dead inmate was one of the children of Cornucopia House. The Agents soon learn this investigation stinks and their gifts from Sredni Vashtar are leading them into a confrontation with one of Delta Green's old foes. In a twist, the players are not Investigators this time, but actually 3 idiot Cthulhu Cultists who will plot and scheme their way through 1920s Arkham, MA. After a goody-two-shoes Investigator takes the mask of Icthulhu away from a rival cult, the Cthulhu cultists sense an opportunity for immense power.

The back-stabbing villains will need to navigate the witch-haunted city of Arkham, dealing with a rival cult, investigators, and some angry cats out for revenge.

Can they succeed? And which one of them, if any, will become Cthulhu's favored?

This scenario is from "Halloween Horror Returns" and is titled Hope in that collection.

A Call of Cthulhu RPG Actual Play of the Grindhouse scenario "Deliver Us From Evil". Part (1/4)

September 1972, Washington State. 10 years after the disappearance of their friend, a group of old friends reunite for a weekend canoeing trip in the Olympic National forest. Their whitewater journey down the Lost River in the shadow of Mt. Mystery unearths terrible, subterranean secrets hidden within themselves and the primeval wilderness.

Each player character has a dark secret and a role to play in the story that they aren't aware of yet.

Our players were:

1. Ted Brantly (Played by Adam) - The Avenger: Leader of the friend group. He is a successful building contractor and considers himself an outdoorsman who doesn't need a guide despite his friends' insistence that they hire one for the trip. He has brought along his niece, Margo.

2. Donny Shows (Played by Ashlyn) - The Angel: Part of the friend group. An idealistic man, he's found great success as a talent agent for musicians in Los Angeles.

3. Curt Kendrick (Played by Wes) - The Word Bearer: Part of the friend group. He works an unfulfilling grind at his father-in-law's Seattle advertising firm.

4. Larry Frippe (Played by Toby) - The Pariah: Part of the friend group. He works as an insurance salesman, plays golf and tries to keep his wife, Dot, happy.

5. Margo Pendergrass (Played by Olivia) - The Blessed: Ted Brantly's 15 year old niece. When she learned of Ted's upcoming trip, she begged him to take her, for reasons she can't quite fully articulate. As a member of the high school swim team, she is well equipped for the river... she thinks.

6. Harlyn Evans (Played by Morgan) - The Psychopomp: A wilderness guide hired by the friend group despite Ted's insistence that a guide isn't necessary. Harlyn is working guide gigs in order to save up enough to make a big move to Alaska.

Act 5: God's Eye - Episode 22 continues the story 7 months after the events of Red Thoughts and White Teeth. Morraine Moss, having lost 3 of her limbs to an alligator chimera has left the FBI and is taken care of by her father on the old family farm where the deep bottomless hole sits. The hole continues to be fed all the unwanted waste people can give it. Meanwhile, Task Force Masticate has a mysterious new member, Robin Reyes. The Agents are gathered by Pitzerelli in Reno, Nevada. There has been a string of seemingly unrelated brutal murders and Delta Green has come into possession of a drone surveillance programmer unnaturally disappearing on camera. Complicating the case is the employer of the missing programmer, a high tech surveillance company (deeply important to the Pentagon) running drones over Reno, keeping a watchful eye on the entire city. Will the Agents save the missing drone programmer? Was her supernatural disappearance on camera related to her work? What is going on with Robin Reyes? Our actual play of the Call of Cthulhu RPG scenario: A Whole Pack of Trouble. A Whole Pack of Trouble appears in the scenario book, Occam's Razor.

A group of former high school friends are tasked with finding their missing former friend. Their investigation turns up a mysterious asylum where the rich would deposit their "embarrassing" relatives before the government took over the facility and supposedly used it to house bootleggers from Innsmouth, cultists from a church of starry wisdom and more. The asylum is now closed and if they have any hope of saving their friend they'll need to get to the bottom of what's really going on there today.

Act 4: White Teeth - Episode 18 picks up after the Agents have completed their cover-up conspiracy. Now they must go on a road trip down the east coast, looking for the supernaturally touched killers of Kerry Houghton, three young former victims of Cornucopia House. On the trip they will learn the truth of what has happened to the children of Cornucopia House, as well as what happened to the Agents themselves back in 2001.
