One last episode. The apostles discuss the movie that started this journey, getting into patristic theology and the need to remember rightly. Not much else to say, except thanks for making this whole experience so wonderful. We're excited for what comes next!

As the apostles go from Destroy All Monsters to All Monsters Attack, talk about tonal whiplash! However, joining them on this journey is Eric Neely from the Monsters vs. Men podcast to tackle critiques regarding capitalism, the myth of redemptive violence, and settling the most important question of all time: who handles stock footage better, Gamera and the Space Women, or All Monsters Attack? At last, the Avengers of Godzilla movies. Before you write off the episode because of that description, Chris and David discuss why that comparison might actually be accurate, along with gatekeeping in the fandom and the shift in tone, and meaning, in the Godzilla series. Kaijuvengers...assemble!

When you have a movie with a giant ape and his mechanical clone, it only makes sense to invite Alex of Monsters vs. Men to monkey around. Despite the reputation the film has, however, do Chris, David, and Alex find much to discuss, or does Dr. Who and Crew just make our hosts want to cuss? (Worst. Rhyme. Ever.) It's the movie Chris has been waiting for: Son of Godzilla, Minilla's infamous introduction into the Godzilla universe. The apostles find a lot to discuss this time around, between Godzilla's parenting skills, creation care and eschatology, along with the philosophical concept of contractualism. Time to go back to the island, Jack Shephard!

Ahoy, mateys! Come onboard with Chris and David as they set sail to the Devil's Island to discuss the 1966 Godzilla film, Ebirah, Horror of the Deep. Does Jun Fukuda's shift in tone work for the duo, or do they walk away from this one crabbier than ever? Grab your swimsuit and towels, because this episode is a beach!

Gargantuas, Gadamer, Yu-Gi-Oh-My! David and Chris finally get to one of the most famous kaiju films of all time: War of the Gargantuas. Not ones to shy away from controversy, they discuss the hype surrounding the movie, along with the application of the Cain and Abel motif to the two giant monsters, not to mention getting into detail about their respective analytical approaches to these monster flicks. Chris also does his best (see: worst) puns yet!

In light of everything happening in the United States, Chris and David felt one last episode of Building a Bridge was needed, and they invited Fae to join the conversation regarding racism, both in the Godzilla fandom and the country at large.
