Dr. Bruce Greyson is the Chester Carlson Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia. He was previously on the medical faculty at the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut, where he was Clinical Chief of Psychiatry. Dr. Greyson has consulted with the National Institutes of Health and addressed symposia on consciousness at the United Nations and at the Dalai Lama’s compound in Dharamsala, India. He has earned awards for his medical research and was elected a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, the highest honor bestowed by that organization.
Dr. Greyson’s interest in near-death experiences began just a few months after graduating from medical school, when he treated an unconscious patient in the emergency room who stunned him the next morning with an account of leaving her body. That event challenged his beliefs about the mind and the brain, and ultimately led him on a journey to study near-death experiences scientifically, leading to more than a hundred publications in medical journals. He co-founded the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), an organization to support and promote research into these experiences, and for 27 years edited the Journal of Near-Death Studies, the only scholarly journal dedicated to near-death research. Through his research, he has discovered common and universal themes in near-death experiences that go beyond neurophysiological or cultural interpretations, as well as patterns of consistent aftereffects on individuals’ attitudes, beliefs, values, and personalities.
Dr. Greyson is the author of "After: A Doctor Explores What Near-Death Experiences Reveal About Life and Beyond." The book challenges our everyday ideas about our minds and our brains and offers key insights on how we can begin to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Fr. Nathan introduces us to Donna Rebadow who is a Mystic, Near-Death Experiencer, Sports Medicine Acupuncturist, host of the "Exploring Consciousness" Podcast, and author of “Wednesdays with Sadie, the Miracle Dog.”
In the summer of 1998, Donna had a Near Death Experience that changed how she viewed herself, the world, and other dimensions. After this experience, Donna started exploring consciousness by attending noetic-type workshops with the Monroe Institute, Dr. Bill Bengston, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Tom Campbell. She is the author of Med School after Menopause, The Journey of my Soul, an inspirational story about transformation, healing and spirituality, which won 1st place in the category of Spiritual Leadership in August 2021 from Living Now Book Awards! This award recognizes truly world-changing books that contribute to positive global change.
She is the creator of Healing Your Ancestral Mother Wound, and Healing Your Ancestral Relationship Wounds, which she produced in collaboration with the world-renowned Hemi-Sync. Dr. Lotte also leads workshops on Ancestral Healing for The Theosophical Society as well as other organizations and is a regular guest on The Shift Network. Dr. Lotte has had two Near-Death out-of-body experiences which resulted in her becoming clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient and activating her life path. She was then guided to attend medical school as well as become an author and evidential medium.
Dr. Lotte completed her medical school pre-requisites and was accepted into medical school at the age of 54! Dr. Lotte is also the host of her own podcast Dr. Lotte: Science with Soul, which is currently ranked in the top 5% GLOBALLY out of 3 million podcasts. William Peters, M.A., M.Ed., MFT, is the founder of the Shared Crossing Project whose mission is to positively transform relationships to death and dying through education and raising awareness about extraordinary end-of-life experiences (shared crossings) and their healing benefits. As the director of the Shared Crossing Research Initiative. William and his team collect and study shared crossings.
William is a global leader in shared death studies and end-of-life phenomenon. He teaches methods to facilitate the shared death experience and to assist experiencers in meaningfully integrating their experiences. William is a psychotherapist and served as a hospice worker with Zen Hospice Project in San Francisco.
His work is informed by his two NDEs and a variety of shared crossings. Dr. Bruce Greyson is the Chester Carlson Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia. He was previously on the medical faculty at the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut, where he was Clinical Chief of Psychiatry. Dr. Greyson has consulted with the National Institutes of Health and addressed symposia on consciousness at the United Nations and at the Dalai Lama’s compound in Dharamsala, India. He has earned awards for his medical research and was elected a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, the highest honor bestowed by that organization.
Dr. Greyson’s interest in near-death experiences began just a few months after graduating from medical school, when he treated an unconscious patient in the emergency room who stunned him the next morning with an account of leaving her body. That event challenged his beliefs about the mind and the brain, and ultimately led him on a journey to study near-death experiences scientifically, leading to more than a hundred publications in medical journals. He co-founded the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), an organization to support and promote research into these experiences, and for 27 years edited the Journal of Near-Death Studies, the only scholarly journal dedicated to near-death research. Through his research, he has discovered common and universal themes in near-death experiences that go beyond neurophysiological or cultural interpretations, as well as patterns of consistent aftereffects on individuals’ attitudes, beliefs, values, and personalities.
