Keir Starmer wants to ban X — today it's social media, tomorrow it's your free speech. This is not about safety. It's about power, censorship, and silencing criticism.

Not satisfied with cancelling elections, locking people up for "hurty words" and enforcing two-tier policing of political protest, Keir Starmer now wants to silence the internet itself by banning X. The excuse? Deep-fake nude images — which I utterly condemn. But let's stop pretending. This has nothing to do with protecting women and everything to do with protecting Starmer.

This is about power. This is about control. This is about shutting you up. The idea that a government-appointed censor like OFCOM should police what adults say, think, read and watch online must be resisted.

We don't even need OFCOM for broadcasting — we all have an off button. Don't like it? Don't watch it. What's next — banning football? Because every ground in the country now rings out with "Starmer is a wanker", doesn't it?

Instead of censoring criticism, how about dealing with the real threats: Grooming gangs still waiting for a full public inquiry Rapists being allowed into the Met Police Birmingham officers falsifying evidence to blame Jews instead of Muslims BBC bias — including falsified edits of Trump speeches

This is the scandal that blows apart the myth of "policing without fear or favour". In sworn evidence, West Midlands Chief Constable Craig Rutherford admitted that police intelligence was shaped to fit a decision already made — to ban Tel Aviv football fans from Villa Park. Why?

Because the truth was inconvenient. It has now emerged that the real and serious threat came not from Israeli supporters, but from Islamist extremists in Birmingham, some allegedly armed and openly threatening violence against Jews attending the match.

Let that sink in. Instead of confronting the real danger, police chiefs pointed the finger at the victims, dressed it up as "risk management" and expected nobody to notice. This is two-tier policing in black and white.

While Keir Starmer cosies up to the EU and signals a clear desire to drag Britain back into their orbit, the UK's borders remain wide open — despite the clear democratic mandate of Brexit. Hungary proves it doesn't have to be this way.

Under Viktor Orbán, Hungary has made its position crystal clear:

❌ No forced relocation

❌ No weakened borders

Let's stop pretending this was an accident. 2025 has been a disaster — and Keir Starmer owns every inch of it.

Broken pledges. Cowardly U-turns. Empty slogans followed by total retreat. A Prime Minister who talks "tough" until the moment toughness is required — then vanishes.

Britain was promised stability. What we got was managed decline. Brits working harder for less. Communities ignored. Borders still out of control. A political class obsessed with looking virtuous while the country frays at the edges.

And then — the moment that summed it all up — Starmer lets El Fattah into the UK. At a time when public trust is collapsing, when people are crying out for common sense and backbone, this government chooses arrogance over accountability. It felt like a slap in the face.

Another reminder that ordinary British people are last in the queue. Today we stop swallowing the nonsense. This debate puts Starmer's record on trial: Were the failures of 2025 incompetence — or ideology? Why does Starmer always cave when it matters? Is this government even capable of putting Britain first?

And as next May's elections loom, let's make one thing absolutely clear: We do NOT want a reshuffle. We do NOT want a rebrand. We do NOT want another hollow replacement. Britain needs a GENERAL ELECTION.

Britain needs fresh ideas, not recycled failures. Britain needs leadership that puts BRITAIN AND THE BRITISH FIRST — without apology. No more excuses. No more gaslighting. No more being told decline is "progress".

This is raw. This is angry. This is live. No scripts. No safe answers. No hiding places. If you're furious — good. If you disagree — come and face it. Britain's had enough. Let's talk — properly — for once.

 Jon Gaunt rips the lid off Keir Starmer's catastrophic record — on immigration, honesty, and whose side he's really on.

 More than 40,000 illegal migrants have crossed the Channel. They're being dumped into hotels paid for by your taxes, while local communities are ignored and stretched to breaking point. Serious sexual and violent crimes committed by a minority of undocumented men are brushed aside, never properly addressed, never confronted head-on. Why?

Then comes the Alaa Abd el-Fattah scandal. Starmer says he was "delighted" this activist is back in the UK — and claims he was unaware of his incendiary social-media posts. But the parliamentary record tells a different story. Starmer raised Abd el-Fattah's social-media activity in the Commons back in 2022.

While Parliament was closed for Christmas, Keir Starmer quietly U-turned on his farmers' tax, avoiding scrutiny and debate. He followed it with a speech to the nation so flat and empty it reassured no one.

 At the same time, pubs and the hospitality sector — the heart of communities across Britain — continue to close, with little meaningful help from this government.

 And then came the moment that left many people stunned. The Prime Minister publicly welcomed and celebrated the entry into the UK of Alaa Abd El-Fattah, a highly controversial activist. Alaa Abd El-Fattah is regarded by some as a political prisoner — but past statements attributed to him and widely circulated online, including violent rhetoric, have caused serious concern for many people.

 He is accused of being a Jew Hater.

 Whether you support his release or not, this was a decision that demanded explanation and judgement — not celebration and silence.

 Let's get this straight from the off. Keir Starmer has got some cheek. Some brass neck. The man who never apologises suddenly wants one from Jim Ratcliffe? You couldn't make it up.

Starmer — Mr Flip-Flop, Mr U-Turn, Mr "I Didn't Really Mean That" — is now posing as the nation's moral referee. Fifteen U-turns. Fifteen. On policy, principle, and promises. Has he apologised once? Has he heck. Not to pensioners. Not to voters. Not to the people he's taken for mugs.

And while he's busy wagging his finger at Sir Jim, let's talk about the apology Britain actually deserves. Because the entire political class — Labour, Tory, the lot of them — owe the British people a massive apology for the abject failure on illegal migration. Years of chaos. Billions wasted. Borders that exist in name only. And what do we get? Lectures. Excuses. And being told we're wrong for noticing.

Sir Jim didn't say anything outrageous. He said what millions of people are thinking but Westminster is too frightened to admit. People are fed up. Fed up of being ignored. Fed up of being patronised. Fed up of being told to shut up and accept it. Immigration. Brexit. National sovereignty. These aren't fringe obsessions — they're the issues voters keep shouting about while politicians stick their fingers in their ears.

 And here's the bit that really rattles them: the polls are coming. The next set will show it again. Ordinary Brits aren't buying the spin anymore. They don't want apologies demanded from businessmen who speak plainly — they want accountability from politicians who never do. So no, Sir Jim doesn't owe the country an apology. Keir Starmer does. And until he finds the courage to say sorry — properly, honestly, and without a lawyered-up script — he might want to stop lecturing the rest of us about decency. Because people are watching. People are angry. And this time, they're not being ignored.

 Like turkeys voting against Christmas, Labour's chickens were never going to pull the trigger on themselves. Faced with the threat of a snap General Election — one that would have wiped out half the Cabinet and a good chunk of the back benches — they folded. Fast. This wasn't loyalty. This wasn't leadership. This was pure self-preservation.

 These morally bankrupt MPs weren't backing Starmer — they were backing their own snouts staying firmly in the trough. And while they clapped like trained seals, Starmer still hasn't delivered the documents he promised last week explaining how the vetting process cleared Mandelson. Who approved it? How? On what grounds? Silence.

Now ministers are being warned not to "do a Wes Streeting" — no more cosy texts, no more receipts, no more evidence. Keep it quiet. Keep it buried. Nothing to see here. It stinks. And it stinks of a cover-up.

SHOULD KING CHARLES ABDICATE? I believe the time has come to ask the question the Establishment is desperate to shut down. King Charles III is a man under immense strain. He is visibly not recovering, not easing back, not growing stronger — and the relentless pressure of scandal, silence and institutional failure is bearing down on him.

I believe that for the good of the Crown, abdication must now be on the table. This crisis has a name: Prince Andrew. His association with Jeffrey Epstein continues to rot the monarchy from the inside.

The question is simple and unavoidable: why has Andrew still not gone to the United States to be formally questioned? What exactly is being protected — and who?

And then there's the part Westminster really doesn't want discussed. While Andrew absorbs all the heat, Peter Mandelson — another man with documented Epstein links — was handed a top ambassadorial job. That wasn't an accident. That was a political decision taken by Keir Starmer — and it was a catastrophic misstep.

So I'll say it plainly: Andrew should go to the United States and be questioned. Mandelson should go to the United States and be questioned. No hiding places. No double standards. If Starmer cannot or will not protect the monarchy from this level of damage, then he has no business lecturing anyone about standards in public life.

The monarchy is entering dangerous territory — and I believe there is only one way to stabilise it. Prince William represents clarity, authority, and a line under years of scandal. If Keir Starmer can try to cancel elections without a mandate, what does your vote actually mean? Is the UK REALLY a democracy? Let's stop pretending. This week, Reform UK blocked a move that should have alarmed every voter in the country — Keir Starmer attempting to cancel local elections. Yes — cancel elections.

 In a country that never stops lecturing the world about democracy. Starmer has no mandate to do this. No manifesto promise. No referendum. No public consent. And yet here we are — again.

 We've seen this movie before. In 2016, the Brexit referendum delivered a result the political elite didn't like. What followed wasn't acceptance — it was years of obstruction, delay, re-runs, legal manoeuvres, and media pressure, all designed to wear the public down and soften the outcome. Voters spoke. Westminster panicked.

 Now history looks like it's repeating itself — elections questioned, democratic processes treated as optional, and major national direction shifted without asking the people.

 So let's ask the question politicians hate: If elections can be cancelled — is this still a democracy? If referendums are ignored — what's the point of voting? If governments only respect results they agree with — who is really in charge?

 As the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band once joked: "There is no point in voting — the government always gets in." It was satire. But does it now sound uncomfortably accurate? Jon Gaunt takes this head-on: Are voters being sidelined? Is democracy being hollowed out by the political class? And if elections can be cancelled today — what gets cancelled tomorrow?

 What's a surrender monkey? It's a political coward. A leader who talks tough, waves the flag, then folds at the first sign of pressure. Someone who gives ground, again and again, while pretending it's all part of a "reset". And that, folks, is exactly what Keir Starmer has become.

 The latest big relaunch, reboot, reinvention — call it what you like — is just another desperate attempt by Starmer to reinvent himself again. New suit, new slogan, same weak leader. He doesn't need re-booting. He needs booting out.

 Starmer said he wouldn't crawl back to the EU — now he's doing just that. He talked tough on border security — now it looks like he's simply given up. He's capitulated to China over the super-embassy. He's rolled over on the Chagos Islands. Yet somehow, with a straight face, he tells us Britain must be "war-ready" for Russia. You couldn't make it up.

 This is not a fighter. This is a man in managed retreat — surrendering abroad, wobbling at home, and presiding over 15 policy U-turns that expose a government with no core beliefs and no backbone. A lame-duck premiership is unfolding before our eyes.

 Every day he clings on, the country is dragged further down with him. Starmer should do the decent thing: admit defeat and go now, instead of letting this sorry farce grind on. That's the verdict — Jon Gaunt says it as it is.
