After the resounding success of their 50th Anniversary celebration, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT is eagerly gearing up for an exciting new chapter in their storied career with the upcoming release of 'Ghost Stories.' This highly anticipated album marks a fitting finale to the recording legacy of one of rock’s most iconic fixtures from the past 50 years. In a thrilling partnership with Frontiers Music, BLUE ÖYSTER CULT is set to captivate fans with a collection of reimagined and newly completed songs that span from 1978-2016. These musical treasures, long considered 'lost gems' by BLUE ÖYSTER CULT enthusiasts, were originally recorded between 1978 and 1983, except for one track from 2016, "If I Fell." Also included is the only known studio recording of their concert classic “Kick Out the Jams” (MC5 cover). Some of the material is from sessions workshopping material for an album, some is from performance rehearsals. All were recorded once in the hopes that someday they'd see the light of day. George Geranios, the band's original audio engineer and an integral part of the band's golden years, co-produced the original 1978-83 recordings along with BÖC. All were originally recorded on reel-to-reel analog tape. They were later transferred to digital audio, which is when modern AI and magical musical talents met and the collection of vintage multi-track recordings was de-mixed, re-mixed, and produced by Steve Schenck and Richie Castellano to become 'Ghost Stories. Work in the studio for the album was completed by Richie Castellano along with remaining original members Eric Bloom and Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser, both Albert Bouchard and Rick Downey appear on drums with additional overdubs recorded by Joe Bouchard. All these original lineup members appearing on 'Ghost Stories,' create a musical journey that traverses decades. To celebrate this exciting announcement, the band shares the single "So Supernatural" along with a new music video that has a super cool blend of classic rock and modern AI. The Jeremy White Show welcomes Phil Spina from TEXAS KING! Canadian rock band Texas King are excited to be bringing their blistering live show back to stages across North America on tour with Big Wreck this November. The band will be making stops around Canada including show dates in Hamilton, ON on November 9th, London, ON on November 10th, Charlottetown, PEI on November 14th, Halifax, NS on November 15th, Moncton, NB on November 17th, Montreal, QC on November 18th and Parry Sound, ON on November 20th, among many others. The tour follows the band’s most recent EP, Capsize. The EP encompasses stories of reckoning, redemption, nostalgia, and hope that sees Texas King’s Jordan Macdonald (Vocals & Guitar), Melvin Murray (Drums), and Phil Spina (Bass) follow up from where their 2021 EP, Changes, left off. It includes Texas King’s hit single “Whatever You Break,” a driving power ballad, which peaked at #4 on the Active Rock chart and was #1 on the recurrent chart, making it the band’s highest charting single to date. The song was produced by Brian Moncarz, along with the EP’s title track “Capsize” and “Rely On Me”.
Texas King have put 250,000 miles into their van over the past decade – touring all over North America alongside acts including Last Dinosaurs, and The Glorious Sons. Since 2013, they’ve been cutting their teeth on the road and in the studio, releasing music that captures the show-stopping passion they’ve brought to stages that include Vancouver’s Ambleside Festival, Ontario’s ParkJam and Hillside Festivals, and Québec’s Festival D’été. During this period, he has published well over 1,000 articles in major periodicals originating from around the globe. Rosen was the West Coast correspondent for Guitar World magazine for four years during the seminal mid-‘80s, when he wrote eight cover stories—including three lead features on Edward Van Halen recognized as pivotal pieces on the legendary guitarist.

The traveling troubadour’s work has taken him to distant vistas in search of mysterious stories and elusive sagas—hand-selected to accompany numerous bands as a traveling wordsmith for the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Who, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Loggins & Messina, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, Alice Cooper, The Firm, Van Halen, and others.
Recently, Rosen’s main focus has been organizing his incredibly extensive and rare collection of audio interviews dating back to 1973. The entire library represents well over 1,500 hours of content, with hundreds and hundreds of classic rock’s most-engaging, enraging and entrancing characters, including Edward Van Halen. This archival process led to the unearthing of what Rosen called “The Twilight Tapes”—50 interviews representing hours of late-night phone calls with the Van Halen guitarist, who happened to become a very close friend over the years. “The Twilight Tapes” sparked the idea to sit down to write TONECHASER in 2020 and the rest, as they say, is rock and roll history.
