Each episode covers the key creatives and characters from every James Bond film from 1962’s 'Dr No' to 2021’s 'No Time To Die', talking about Ken Adam to Max Zorin, and everything in-between. The show shines a light on every aspect of the filmmaking process answering many of the questions you always wanted to ask about the 007 films, and we are occasionally joined by guests who offer a unique perspective on the films.

60 years of Goldfinger - From Pinewood

On Tuesday, 17 September, 2024 Goldfinger, the third James Bond film, celebrated the 60th anniversary of its premiere, and Tom and Brendan were at Pinewood Studios for a special outdoor screening of the film.

We took the opportunity to record a mini-episode from the home of James Bond, where 23 out of the 25 official 007 were made.

Pierce Brosnan - Part 1/2

The team have reached Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan. The Irish actor is the fifth James Bond on film who began his 007 tenure with 1995's 'GoldenEye', and ended it with 2002's 'Die Another Day'. In the first part of a two-part special, the team take a look back at Brosnan's early life in Ireland, his subsequent move to London, and his discovery of acting. They explore his relationship with his first wife, the 'For Your Eyes Only' Bond girl Cassandra Harris , and how it brought him into the orbit of Bond. They dig into Brosnan's big acting breaks, first with 'The Manions of America', then with 'Remington Steele', and finally his tortuous journey to landing his dream role: 007. B Part 4 - Robert Brownjohn, Jeremy Bulloch, Anthony Burgess and more

This episode covers the life and work of acclaimed graphic designer Robert Brownjohn who shaped the look of the iconic James Bond title sequences with his groundbreaking work on 'From Russia With Love' and 'Goldfinger'. The team also look at Jeremy Bulloch. Most famous as Boba Fett in Star Wars, the English actor starred in three James Bond films and was a fan favourite on the convention circuit. They shine a light on Irma Bunt, the Spectre agent of 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' who inflicted untold damage on 007. They look at two writers who worked on Bond with varying degrees of success: Anthony Burgess, who had a crack at the script for 'The Spy Who Loved Me', and Jez Butterworth the acclaimed playwright who polished the scripts for Sam Mendes' two 007 films: 'Skyfall' and 'Spectre'. Finally, the trio mop up a number of filmmakers who they missed in the previous episodes as they prepare to move on to the letter C.

Initially as co-producer with Harry Saltzman, then later as sole producer, Cubby oversaw the films as they developed from their relatively low-budget origins to large-budget, high-grossing extravaganzas, and Broccoli's heirs continue to produce new Bond films to this day.
