Better late than never but here is our third episode - C for Comedy!
On that note, some of the news items in this episode are a wee bit out of date e.g. it's no longer Pride Month (boooo) and the Trans Pride March in London has been and gone (and was a success from what we've heard!).

Join us this week as Sian gives a great insight into what being butch can mean, and an analysis of Stud Life (Campbell X, 2012), whilst Sarah listens along, tries to be punny and covers recent events in the community and wider world. 

In this episode, Sarah and Sian get stuck into their alphabet of sapphic and non-binary media representations, starting at the very beginning (a very good place to start) with A for Animation. This week, they take a nostalgic peek into their childhood understandings of Disney, where the media producer stands on diversity today, before going on to look at a stop-motion film that is certainly not for family viewing...

In this introductory episode, get to know your hosts, Sarah and Sian, as they begin to delve into the topic of the invisibility and visibility of queer women and non-binary people in screen media. Drawing questions from their MA dissertations, the discussion ranges from Blue is the Warmest Colour and creepy sex scenes to what constitutes as a "BBC lesbian"!
