In this episode, Trish (mum of James, 16 months old) candidly shares what sleep was like for her and her family up until her child was 16 months old. Her intuition told her this wasn’t the way it was supposed to be, and that she should be getting more sleep now that her child was getting older. Her mental health was suffering, as well as her connection with her beautiful baby boy and her relationship.

She explains the final straw that led her to reach out, why she connected with The Holistic Sleep Project’s philosophy, and how the entire process was for her and her child. In Trish’s own words, this sleep transformation has completely changed her life!

Feel like you're being consistent with your child’s bedtime? Feel like you respond the same way every single time your child wakes? Feel like you put them down for naps at the same time every day and they sleep for the same duration each time?

In this episode, I pose some key questions to determine if you’re truly being consistent with your child's sleep, or how consistent. If we aren’t consistent with our child’s sleep (and everything related to it!), we can create confusion and often overstimulation, which isn’t helpful for fostering more sleep.

This episode explores at least three ways to start building more consistency, improve your child's day and night sleep through routine, and offers several methods of support if you’re struggling to achieve this on your own!

Jess worked with 3 other Sleep Consultant and STILL wasn't getting any sleep!
This is a captivating story from a mother who had strong instincts that her baby should have been getting more sleep than he was, even though professionals were telling her baby was just "stubborn".

Jess was experiencing all the aspects of sleep challenges with her little one including catnapping and night waking. And despite attempting to co sleeping as a solution which according to those around her "should" have been creating more sleep for Noah, this was not the case. She still wasnt getting long stretches of sleep in the day or night, her child was grizzly and tired and she was completely exhausted.

Jess expresses so eloquently how Georgina's work, personality and strategy is incredibly different and pin points how this all comes together to create a complete sleep transformation and DOES mean your baby will sleep through the night!

Whether a family has to endure tears while changing their child's sleep is a hot topic among sleep-deprived families. Parents commonly ask: Will there be tears? How much crying? I don't want to do Cry it Out!

In this episode, we explore why these cry-based solutions don't work and create unnecessary stress for both parents and children. We discuss common beliefs and why this approach is flawed. We also compare and contrast it to The Holistic Sleep Project model, which includes much more in its gradual and effective approach to sleep.

This episode has been a long time coming, and we hope it changes your overall mindset about what sleep work is and how it can be effective, gradual, and mean minimal tears for your child while you get way more sleep for your family!

This podcast episode is raw and real as Rhiannon (mother of River-Rose) shares the impact of 18 months of sleep deprivation. Her little one was waking 14 x a night and always needing support to get back to sleep.  They were co sleeping which wasn’t inducing any more sleep. Her mental health was taking a diabolical turn, her relationship was suffering, her child wasn’t thriving emotionally or developmentally, and it all seemed impossible to resolve.

We talk about her prior experience working with a sleep consultant, how she found The Holistic Sleep Project differed, how the level of support was pivotal in the change she and her daughter needed and she shares River’s unbelievable sleep transformation!

She also talks about the role Georgina plays in ongoing support for her family as they navigate sleep into the future for River.

EPISODE 30 - "I cried non-stop when I won an International Business Award!"

I won!!! I received an International Business Award at Women Changing the World awards for Woman in Health and Wellbeing! Not only have I spent the past 25 years in health and wellness as a Naturopath, but I have also spent the past 5 years creating transformations in the lives of the children and their families I work with. Sleep is underestimated, it is under acknowledged in our wellbeing and for its importance in our everyday lives as parents and for our children’s development.

I shared this conference room in London with incredibly successful powerhouse women who are making change in all areas of the globe and areas within society.  They are mothers and they are businesswomen, they want to make a difference in the world, and they are. I feel the difference I make, and so do the families I support, is immeasurable, transformative and miraculous. Now, I have been acknowledged for these efforts and in this episode, I share the experience in London, sacrifice it took for me to go overseas and for the blood, sweat and tears it has taken to get here over the past few years!

EPISODE 29 - “Megan’s baby was only sleeping 15-20 mins at a time”

Megan has struggled with her little one Sasha pretty much since she was born. Only able to achieve 15-20 min naps during the day, feeling like a failure and unable to get her to have long naps, trying all the strategies and products her friends suggested and ultimately ending up co-sleeping which also didn’t help either and just left her partner and her feeling completely exhausted.

We worked together when Sasha was 5 months and completely transformed the sleep of Sasha and the whole family and now at 18 months I have continued to support her family within the membership - The Sleep Collective. She shares with us the judgement and feeling of failing she felt before getting in touch with The Holistic Sleep Project and how the transformation has completely altered the functionality of her family and now, they can live with complete flexibility and ease.
