Managing Director Richard Maddocks, says the company is on track to publish a maiden resource estimate for the project later this year. Drilling is ongoing, metallurgical tests are underway and the project is emerging as a globally significant graphite find. The US and Europe desperately wants graphite from places outside of China, it's considered to be a critical mineral and therefore the size, the grade and location of this project says its future is very exciting.

James Bay Minerals (ASX: JBY) has just acquired the Independence Gold Project in Nevada, USA. The project has a resource of 796,000 oz at 6.5 grammes per tonne, and the mineralisation remains open.
