Howdy howdy, it's Justin here. Salt Bloom is my new two-part, micro-fiction sci-fi story about a robotic probe searching for life on a lifeless ocean world. Undaunted by failure, this SARC-17 research unit navigates the waters while seeding myths, searching for salt-ridden omens, and stealing data from its overseer in orbit. This probe is both captain and ship on a sea with impregnable mysteries. Its soul extends far beyond circuits and programming—and it will never stop searching. Searching for life. Searching for miracles. Searching for some kind of hand to hold in an ocean where there are none.
