Dr. Ferman spent the first half of his life as June-bug from North Philadelphia. For 35 years, he lived as a drug-using . . . alcohol-abusing . . . cigarette smoking, as a marijuana toking . . . yeah . . . "rebellious" . . . and rebelliousness led him to be supreme in his stupidity. However, the first evening in prison, a Muslim inmates; Brother Hassan blessed Dr. Ferman with his first Bible. November 28, 2025, marks this day of Dr. Ferman celebrating 35 years of being "born-again," and proclaim "the good news" of Jesus Christ. In the book of Isaiah, we find the following words written;"Shout aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion . . . (Isa. 58:1.) Dr. Ferman has been known for some shouting, but to the disbelief of some people, his shouts are "shouts of love." Jesus "shouted" at the dead man, and the dead man came forth. Only the Word can call the physically dead, and the spiritual dead back to life. (please John, chapter 11.) Also as "Maestro" . . . better known as Dr. Ferman; he refuses to hold back any of his musical gifts, his God given intelligence, or his abilities and knowledge. Likewise, he will not hold back on his direct approach to sharing his wisdom of integrity within the reality of the truth, as he continues to walk with God. Therefore, as June-bug for 35 years . . . from North Philadelphia, or as a disciple of Christ Jesus for 35 years . . . God have taken those 70 years . . . the good, the bad, and all that no one will ever understand . . . made them "work together for my good" (Romans 8:28.)

In this fast paced world, we as a people. focuses on the accelerated dependability of the high-tech society with very low moral standards, instead of finding fault against one another, we should "Seek the Lord while HE may be found, call upon HIM while He is near" (Isa. 55:6.) Just the mere fact that you are reading these words, should let you know that you are interested in growing closer to GOD. Yes; most certainly, a good reason to grow closer to GOD, is to have a relationship with GOD. Think with me for a minute . . . when we meet someone that we like, love, admire, or interested in, we go all out. We do our best to find out everything we can about that person. What size shoes they wear, whether they like pizza, Coke, Fruit Punch, or Pepsi. We may even fall in love with this person, and just want to be with them . . . as "they" say--I want to spend the rest of my life with you . . . the interpretation (in most cases) I want to tell many "lies" to you, for without GOD it is difficult to tell the truth. Sometimes, people be just talking bull feces, and sometimes say things that they do not mean, or even realizing the severity of some of their falsehoods. Sometimes, people don't say what they mean . . . holding it all in until they explode or implode. . . . but GOD always says what HE means and means what HE says; and in John 9:31, GOD makes it make sense, and tells us plainly; GOD DO NOT HEAR SINNERS! However, 2nd Corinthians 6:2 allows us to understand that when we are really ready to receive JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOR . . . then and only then will GOD listen to any sinner. So if you think GOD is listening to you, and you have not received JESUS CHRIST as your personal LORD and SAVIOR, you should be able to pull a million dollars worth of pennies out of your left pants pocket. Prayer is simply talking with GOD . . . you talk with everybody else, why not talk to the only one who can truly love you . . . all the time. This is "your" time for a true salvation, and you cannot buy it from your pastor with tithes and offerings. Cry out to GOD for yourself . . . HE is waiting for you, please don't be too late. In this episode of The "Good-News" Reporter's Podcast with Dr. Ferman, he untangles some of the "harder sayings" within the Holy Scriptures. Simply making sense of the word of GOD with self-supporting evidence, or if you like to call them "receipts," straight from the Bible. Of course, the scriptures informed us of Adam's sin, very plainly . . . just about everybody should know that story . . . no matter how the story is explained, all of us, by nature knows that we are stained with the sin of Adam (Romans 5:12.) And we should know, "sin" has been a destructive force since the days of Adam and Eve, and this is reasoning for the need of a protecting Savior--JESUS CHRIST; who died on the cross for our sin. Therefore, Dr. Ferman elaborates on one of the most sinful times in the days of old. Seemingly overlooked, and un-investigated by Pastors, Professors, Biblically Scholars, and even some Theologians. But after research, study, and careful consideration, Dr. Ferman believes that these un-taught realities need to be taught; emphasized, and amplified, so that the sin-sick people, in our sin-sick society can identify (even the more) with their sin-sick ways . . . and seek GOD! As a Prisoner of Christ, one of the greatest moments in my walk with Christ is when my eyes glanced upon words, such as the following: "Reading the Bible will not make you sinless, but reading the Bible will help you to sin less, and less, and less . . ." So many truth filled stories and examples; (Psalm 102:18; Romans 15:4; 1st Corinthians 10:11) truths that anyone can apply to their everyday life. Therefore, let's take a closer look at what the MOTHER of JESUS had to say in the 5th verse; "His mother said to the servants, "whatever He says, do it." If you do not think that you are a Servant for CHRIST, then these words may not for you. Simply because, this is the MOTHER of JESUS and she stated; "Whatever He says; whatever JESUS says, we should do it! Well . . . JESUS gave much honor and respect to women, when most men in His day, treated women much like some of these "all types of game playing so-called men " treat women in these days. Look at the story of a woman caught in adultery . . . WINK-WINK! Think with me a minute . . . that woman was not a "self-adulterous adulterous." No, not at all, because, it was a group of "guilty men" . . . Now please take another look and see that every problem a woman has probably comes from "fallen men" . . . just like those fallen angels in Genesis 6:2. Think about it! Therefore, in an upcoming episode, Dr. Ferman shed some light on the "Honoring of Women and the Preciousness of the Precious Womb." Yes, that's what is stated . . . this light should make both the Woman and the male smile. Likewise, a following episode of the "fallen man." Yes, today's "fallen man" . . . continuously tearing down our women . . . from the womb they came, and for the womb . . . they continue to fail our women . . . they fail our families . . . they fail our communities . . . and collectively . . . they fail our GOD! The third and final announcement, Dr. Ferman gives humanistic praise to the rise of geniuses, especially in the "GENIUS IS COMMON" MOVEMENT . . . that is on the move, and growing everyday. GEORGE BRUCE is the founder of this powerful moving movement. He is also a recent recipient of the prestigious LIFE-ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, and the EXECUTIVE PRODUCER of DEF JAM POERTY. As Dr. Ferman begins the message, he quickly changes gears to address ALL pastors . . . most are "legal criminals" using GOD's word in Malachi 3:8-10 . . . WRONGFULLY! If I had to choose to listen to the non-sense of a yapping pastor or KATT WILLIAMS . . . well . . . all those pastors should listen to KATT WILLIAMS right along with me. The mentioning of THE HONORABLE LOUIS FARRAKHAN . . . preaching more about JESUS than most HIRED, "church house" hustling pastors . . . in those crooked places. KENNETH GAMBLE . . . from the SOUND OF PHILADELPHIA, one of the OG's in Philadelphia, he told all the preachers to preach a new way . . . in the song entitled: "WAKE UP EVERYBODY," . . . a modern day prophet? The point to this message is for pastors everywhere to REPENT! Simply because, all of the world should know that the way you guys "COLLECTIVELY" as well as INDIVIDUALLY hustle our people with that "OUTDATED LAW" in the book of MALACHI. In the sixtieth verse of this sixth chapter of the Gospel According to Saint John, we find these following words recorded; "Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?" Well, for certain, if we do not hear the word of GOD, it is impossible to do the "so-called hard things" of GOD, or what may be considered an easy thing of GOD to do. But here within the teachings of CHRIST JESUS, we read of JESUS healing the sick, walking on water, and fed the multitude with both physical and spiritual food . . . miracles. However, as this chapter closes out, we read . . . some "did not" believe JESUS. There were also some who "walked no more with JESUS," and a "spoken word" of the "betrayal of JUDAS ISCARIOT . . . a devil." Do you really believe JESUS? Do you really walk with JESUS? This seventh chapter of the Gospel According to Saint John, allows us to understand the people of that day lived a life of skepticism. Therefore, the high powered religious leaders believed that JESUS was a deceiver and was possessed by a demon. Of course, when we look closer at the New Testament, we will see that "demon possession" is all throughout the scriptures. Hebrews 13:8 informs us that "JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday and today and forever." Yes! JESUS still cast out demons, heal the sick and raise the dead. In 1979, Dr. Ferman entered a private business school to improve upon his skills for the Business of Music. At that time, Dr. Ferman was a "Lyricist" and desired to be a greater support with managerial skills to keep up with his brother's musical genius. To make a long story short . . . Johnnie Brown Sr. got away with murder, when he murdered Dr. Ferman's only full-blooded brother--Johnnie Jr. Dr. Ferman stated: "our daddy was a straight devil. Just think as to what that devil did to our only full-blooded sister--Marilyn." Oh yeah, books are coming! However, Dr. Ferman found himself hiring a guitar tutor and switching majors---from a Business Major to a Music Major. As we enter into this eighth chapter of Saint John, immediately we read that JESUS went into the temple early in the morning to teach. But was rudely interrupted by religious leaders accusing a woman of adultery. The oddity of the situation is that, a person cannot be accused of adultery by themself, but the accusers stated that she was caught in "the very act." Those same accusers called JESUS a liar, they said he had a devil, and wanted to kill JESUS. No matter what JESUS said or any question JESUS answered, those religious leader could not understand the true truth of GOD. As people in today's times, having a from of godliness but deny GOD's power, simply by "not" using GOD's power. There is an electric source of power we use to operate all our home appliances . . . yes, this is in the physical realm. And for the most part, we use electric power all day, everyday. As a very young child, TAMEEKA admired and enjoyed watching and hearing her mother read to her. Sometimes, TAMEEKA'S mother would tell her many stories without even opening up a book. However, TAMEEKA loved the sound of the turning pages. But she noticed early on in life, that when her mother was turning the pages of the BIBLE, the turning pages has a pleasant and more sweeter sound than the turning of pages in other books. ELLA RUTH STEVENS in which we honor, revere, and created a scholarship in honor of her name. Of course, MRS. STEVENS was an avid reading. The kind of reader that was rarely seen without a book, and would read a book in one sitting. Today, TAMEEKA is a collector of books, especially the "old book." Her book collection (close to 1,000 books) is not all about the BIBLE, but about 95% of her books are BIBLE focused. TAMEEKA learns all that she can about the BIBLES and its contents. In the ninth chapter of The Gospel According to Saint John, immediately, JESUS opens the eyes of a man that was born physically blind. Yes, it is true that GOD gives us our eyes and our eyesight at birth, but it is JESUS who opens up our spiritual eyesight. As usual, JESUS is opposed by dis-believers . . . the spiritually blind folk! The tenth chapter 10, verses 1-18, JESUS lets us know that HE is the GOOD SHEPHERD, with an expressed warning about false pastors (hirelings.) Those that are of the flock of JESUS know HIS voice, and we listen . . . we ear . . . we obey . . . we live the abundant life . . . and more? Of course, they called JESUS a devil (please listen to JESUS said; YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN, PART 1,2 & 3--earlier episodes ). . . the devil was real in JESUS' day . . . same soup, different day! Chapter 11 holds is the only place in the BIBLE where the scriptures highlights JESUS weeping because HIS friend died. Yes, JESUS was grieving because HIS friend was dead. But please remember, this is a physical story. Do you grieve for your friends who are spiritually dead?

Always keeping it real with himself, DR. FERMAN, painfully speaks on the hurt from the realization that he came from a long line of devils and a long line of "bastards." Deuteronomy 23:2: "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even unto his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD" (KJV). Deuteronomy 23:2, in some cases, is referred to as the "bastard verse." The "bastard" and his or her offspring was not allowed to really be true members of the family union. Completely, all second hand and third-hand treatment. The "bastard" treatment comes with a feeling of being an un-loved orphan. Hebrews 12:8: "But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons" (KJV). This is another key scripture concerning "bastard-hood," which uses "bastards" as illegitimate children of GOD. FATHERLESS -- not experiencing God's discipline . . . not just lacking earthly fatherly correction.

Chapter 12 of Saint John, we are reminded that JESUS has the power to raise the dead. Then, once again, a "man" (Judas Iscariot) used an excuse to stop Mary from anointing JESUS, in preparation for HIS burial. however, the highlight for me is the testimony of JESUS raising Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus is definitely a character who stands out amongst the rest of JESUS' friend. For it is recorded in the 11th chapter that JESUS wept for Lazarus (John 11:35.) The 13th chapter focuses on Peter being fully accepted onto the ministry of JESUS. Then on the other hand, Satan entered into Judas Iscariot (13:27) -- the betrayal. Then Peter is rebuked about his courage, without courage, because he was due to deny JESUS. The 14th chapter is probably the most used scripture used at funeral around the world. "This time, I want to talk about PASTORS'" says DR. FERMAN. For instance; PASTORS like JOHN PIPER, and JOHN MacARTHUR are two of TAMEEKA's favorite PASTOR/TEACHERS. However, she also enjoy listening to her alumni PASTORS at CAIRN UNIVERSITY; such as the PRESIDENT TODD WILLIAMS. Of course, I have joined my wife many times to learn from these scholarly MEN OF GOD! Although, DR. FERMAN have always enjoy listening to the teaching of CHARLES STANLEY; YES the PASTOR who seemed to have always wore a dark suit, and the purpose was for him not to be "too" flashy in the pulpit . . . drawing the attention away from WORD of GOD. I must mention my NOUTHETIC COUNSELING INSTRUCTOR- the late JAY E. ADAMS. However, DR. FERMAN was still in search for a PREACHER OF COLOR . . . finally . . . da da da da daaa! I am so thankful that GOD has blessed me with a PREACHER who can really preach. I do believe that the young preacher to be somehow connected to AL SHARPTON. NO! Not REV. AL SHARPTON nor REV. AL GREEN (one of the Doctor's favorite recording artist.) But I am talking about the young REV. HILTON RAWLS, III, YES! EMPHATICALLY YES! This sixteen year old PREACHER, was preaching a message that so artistically laid out . . . had me in tears. DR. FERMAN STATES; "I love me some good sound preaching with INTEGRITY, and REV. RAWLS, III has that kind of preaching that is perfect for my spirit. . . 16 . . . really though? THANK YOU JESUS! Yes, there is a PART TWO to the TOYS "R" US PASTORS, and DR. FERMAN mentions but don't mention him. The MARVINS--MARVIN SAPP (entertaining singer,) MARVIN WINANS (entertaining singer,) . . . match them up with MARVIN GAYE (entertaining singer,) because, all of them are entertainers . . . not PASTORS! DR. FERMAN's first impression of the teachings of his fellow PHILADELPHIAN . . . was good at first but then; angry, despicable , loud and always growling like a "brute beast." While researching different pastors and false pastors, DR. FERMAN got stuck . . . paused . . . and started weeping. DR. FERMAN got stuck, got blessed and truly ministered to by REV. HILTON RAWLS, III, and then began to weep. But let me tell you, this young preacher was eleven years old . . . on that particular day, I watched him for the first time. This sagacious young man preaches the truth, and can out preach all the pastors and preachers, I have ever seen. The true Art of Preaching (homiletics) . . . him preaching with "INTEGRITY" and working that BIBLE! DR. FERMAN expresses a hurt for his lost DAUGHTERS. For they think they are rejecting their DAD, but (and I mean but!) they are not truly rejecting their DAD . . . they are rejecting the one that sent their DAD. "It is truly amazing, the two DAUGHTERS that I had no real legal ties-- they listened to their DAD, attended a Biblical University, and living a CHRIST CENTERED life. On the other hand, the other DAUGHTERS that I do have legal ties to have straight out rejected me, and the CHRIST in me," says DR. FERMAN. But, I ask that we pray for all our DAUGHTERS everywhere, especially for the ones without a DAD or OUR FATHER up in heaven. On the back of every piece of American currency, we read; "IN GOD WE TRUST" and in just about every hymnal, the hymn; "WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS." can be found. Therefore, when DR. FERMAN began to put all his trust GOD, and received JESUS into his life, and realized that the only "true" friend is JESUS. For it is of the truth, prior to prison, DR. FERMAN thought that he had a trusted friendship with two of his band member (two of his deceased brother's leftover band members.) Oh yeah, because they could not control him, they used their jealousies and tried to destroy him . . . but GOD! Nevertheless, DR. FERMAN learned not to trust in any human being . . . trust only in GOD. JESUS is his friend, and DR. FERMAN considers "WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS" a personal anthem. | |||

DR. FERMAN emphasizing over and over the importance of reading the BIBLE, and how the inevitably grow must take place, because GOD said so. Nevertheless, he is always reminded of where he has been, and how GOD worked it all together for DR. FERMAN's good. A DECADE IN PRISON and A DECADE ON PAROLE. His testifying of how the word of GOD worked in his life . . . By keeping GOD's commandment, following GOD's instructions . . . reading in a 6'x9', cell and walking the grounds of the prison campus for ten years. But now he and TAMEEKA cruise along the road in a GENESIS 2024 GV-80, and about to sell their present home for $500.000; that's right, a half million dollars. That's quite a leap for an ex-con; for in prison, his wealth was making forty-one cents an hour. Over and over DR. FERMAN how the BIBLE is "importantly paramount" (doubly important) to and for every part of life, even listening the audio BIBLE in their home as everyday, all day, as background music. Prior to accepting CHRIST as his LORD and SAVIOR, DR. FERMAN use to have a "Bobby- Brown-my-prerogative-type-of-attitude" . . . still have it. But now use that same attitude with a high spirit of discernment and a very low tolerance for buffoonery, foolishness, and devilish ignorance. As Junebug, Ferman or DR.
