I'm so excited to bring you this episode on one of the most important things that you can do as an entrepreneur: become friends with fear and failure. Sounds counter-intuitive, but you should be running toward your fears because that's where the expansion and growth is. It is tough, uncomfortable and you will doubt yourself, but the rewards are what help you learn that what you fear is an invitation to grow.
In this episode, I discuss:
What is the "comfort zone" and why it's so uncomfortable to leave it!
What pushes us to leave our comfort zone
How to determine whether leaving your comfort zone is worth the risk our brain tells us it is (psst, you're not really being chased by a bear, your brain just thinks that)
Expansion that I have experienced on the other side of my greatest fears
How you can adopt an expansion and abundance mindset
I hope you enjoy this episode and it plants even the smallest seed, or the smallest hint of all of the possibilities that exist for you.

As mom business owners, we juggle both our businesses and our families. While the business experts abound, who can we look to as a guide for modern parenting problems?
Today's moms, dads, and caregivers face many more difficult, complex challenges than generations past. What if you had a modern, go-to play book on how to address almost any parenting challenge for children of all ages? My guest Marjie Hadad's new book "The Power of PR Parenting: How to Raise Confident, Resilient, and Successful Children Using Public Relations Strategies" is just that.
The Power of PR Parenting offers a fresh approach to parenthood based on the experience and perspectives of Marjie Hadad, a global public relations expert who used her professional skills to raise her now three grown children.
In addition to personal and professional stories of success and hiccups that we can all learn from, the book (and workbook available free via QR code in the book) offers parents (and anyone who works with kids) step-by-step, practical advice and exercises on how to use public relations strategies as well as their own superpowers to instill self-esteem and help their kids to do and be their best.
Marjie has been a global public relations executive for 30 years, 25+ of them as a working mom using her professional expertise to raise her now three grown, multicultural, dual citizen children. PR Parenting worked for Marjie. She hopes it works for today’s as well as future generations of parents of toddlers to teens too.
In this powerful and informative interview, Marjie and I discuss:
How to bring your super powers from work/business to your family life and teach them to your children whether they are good at them or not doesn’t matter. They will learn to adopt and use them in their own way.
How to identify/assess, problem solve, and execute – no matter what situation you are in
How PR skills are universal to all professions
The importance of preparation
The power of positive reinforcement – instead of telling someone what they are doing wrong, tell them what they are doing right,
How to take control and decide how you are going to feel – look for the people who bring the sunshine and surround yourself with people who lift you up
How to learn to source from within to find your superpower and realize it is unique and amazing
The importance of self-care and how to claim time for yourself
Tips for moms working from home and having an online business

As business owners in a digital age, we have to be concerned with content creation. New business owners are often the CEO, social media and marketing strategist, accountant, and more. We are almost inevitably content creators! That's why I was excited to learn tips from a Youtube personal development influencer at Podfest Expo in January 2023.
I share Master Sri Akarshana's story on how he started as a content creator and how a coach helped him to be more intentional with his content creation leading to the growth of his Youtube channel with more than 1M followers.
Topics include:
Researching what the market wants vs. creating what you want
Figuring out the bucket that the algorithm is putting your content in and creating more of that content
Telling people what they want to hear, but then educating them on what they need to hear
I hope that the tips that I shared on how to be more intentional with content creation is helpful and brings you new visibility to your business. I look forward to sharing more that I learned at Podfest Expo 2023 in upcoming episodes.
In this week's episode, I also share real challenges I'm facing as a business owner as I'm reaching a new level. It's not one and done with limiting beliefs or ceilings, especially when you're on a mission like I am to make generational change.
At every stage, every week, and every day, juggling family dynamics and running a business requires that you give yourself and your family a lot of grace.
Ready to go from stressed and overwhelmed in your business and family life? Then, you're in the right place. In this episode, I talk with business and success coach, Sarah Greener, about how to think differently about how you use your time and how your business works for your family.
Sarah is passionate about helping business owners take back their time and their life and learn to work on their business rather than in their business to create more wealth and freedom, as well as more time with your family and loved ones. Sarah has 15 years business experience and years of coaching experience and has created successful frameworks to help business owners go from stressed and overwhelmed to excited about their business again!
In this episode, we discuss:
The misconception that hard work equals success.
What does being a great mom look like?
What do we want from a business point of view?
The difference between your ideal week and your current week.
How to get out of the noise?
How to set boundaries on your time and how to buy back your time from the mundane things.
I am excited to bring this episode to you with a list of 7 things you should stop doing as soon as possible for more business growth and success. Changing just one of the tips discussed in this episode would create a lot of growth. The most important is probably number one. I'd love to hear which one or ones had you shaking your head in agreement.
At the end of the episode, I share one additional tip that is free and can really help you through tough moments in your business. And it only takes six minutes. Don't miss that at the end of the episode.
If you try to tip at the end of the episode, be sure to share with me how it worked for you.

You may feel and understand things on a deeper level and that is a gift. See the light in your dark experiences and the ability to positively impact others by becoming a survivor.
If you take away any message from this episode it’s that you are not the trauma that you experienced. You can’t erase it, but you can change how you deal with it.

Does your business feel chaotic and you are either stuck or spinning your wheels? My guest on this episode, Tyshon Phillips, helps mompreneurs kick the chaos and get back their time and earn more profit in their business by creating and implementing systems.
This episode is so well timed as we reflect on setting goals and intentions for the new year - 2023! We talk about so much more than systems - here are a few takeaways!
A few important takeaways from this episode, include:
How systems help you thrive rather just survive and get results.
Listening to what your heart is telling you to do. What is your why? What do you want your life to look like? Think outside your surroundings.
How to create systems to get the result that you want.
Finding one other person who is doing what you are inspired to do to find evidence it can work
How not implementing systems can cost you. Control the day or it will control you.
How to set your goals and leave out the “but” – create your plan, system and set your intention to complete it
How not implementing systems is committing to chaos.
If you have to pick something to believe in, why not pick to believe in yourself and your goals.

On this episode of The Good Enough Mompreneur Podcast, I interview Benafsha Ghowrwal, a stylist who incorporates mindfulness in her mission to help busy women enhance their appearance by teaching them how to become their own stylist, become more confident, and as a result live a more abundant life.
A few important takeaways from this episode, include:
Anyone can learn to be more stylish.
Your style is a mirror to those around you, so be thoughtful about the message you are sending with your style.
Identify your style for your body type now, not one you want to be when you lose weight, etc. You don't need to put off looking and feeling great!

In this episode, I talk about leadership - what it is and what it is not.

With the use of riddle, I help you identify if you might have some mind models that may make moms and women hesitant to lead. See if you can get the riddle correct.

Have you ever questioned your career or business path? On my entrepreneurial journey, I realized that an identity crisis allowed me to start living more authentically as a business owner and mom. Usually our identity - or our beliefs and sense of self - is created over decades of living on autopilot (listen to last week's episode for more on that topic).
In this episode, I talk about how I had an identity crisis as a mompreneur and how that process helped me rebuild a new identity as an entrepreneur that was authentic and helped me realize my strengths and abilities to help my clients.

This week I share three tips to get unstuck and find more motivation in your business.
Are you selling yourself on your ability to serve your clients? Knowing your worth can help you gain confidence in your abilities as a business owner.
Are you waiting for the confidence to arrive and then you plan to take action in your business? You might have the process backwards. Lisa Bilyeu wrote a book called Radical Confidence that talks about taking action to gain confidence and trusting yourself to figure it all out in your business.
Do you think that you are not enough to serve your clients? What if I told you that your existence is enough? I suggest Simone Seol's book The Fearless Marketing Bible to learn more on this topic.
Once you start taking action in these three areas, you will start to gain confidence and see more traction in your business. Try it and let me know your results.

I'm so excited to share with you my interview with Tyra Andrea, founder of Mommy & Wee Travels!
Tyra is an inspiring single mom who decided that if she had 5 years to live she wasn't living her life doing what she loved, so she flipped it. She's now a full-time travel agency owner and a part-time scientist.
Like me, she rose to the top of her career field and didn't find the happiness that she thought that success would bring.
Instead, happiness meant traveling, so she sought out how to start a travel agency and make that lifestyle a reality.
Listen to this episode to learn about how she did it and what mindset and obstacles she went through to create her new life and business.

I'm so excited to share with you my interview with Katrina Bell, the founder of the Ontario-based candle company, The Copper Bell.
Katrina calls herself an accidental entrepreneur because she turned a side hustle candle business into a massive success during the pandemic after her job was downsized.
Despite the struggles and anxiety of starting a business, she learned several important lessons that led to her success. Here are some of the top takeaways from our interview:
If you need to earn more income, assess what you like to do or a hobby that could become a full-time business.
How you can stand out in a crowded marketplace by taking a unique perspective on a product or service.
How to get out of stuck in comparison as a business owner.
Find a niche and target market by getting clear on your customer.
Embracing your fears to grow your business and having bounce on the other side of fear
How to handle customer feedback
Giving yourself grace and celebrating your wins. Don’t be blinded by always trying to get to the next thing.
I'm back with a new episode exploring how to manage your business goals and family more aligned with creating the life that you want. That's why you started this whole business journey anyway, right?
Don't just jump from the frying pan into the fire as they say. If you aren't intentional in establishing your why, setting clear goals, and managing your schedule so that you are achieving your goals, then stress and unhappiness take over.
I was feeling the need to simplify and manage my time better and in seeking a solution I ran across the concept of a complexity bias. Check out this episode to learn more about complexity bias and how you may be operating on auto pilot and cosigning your time and business to things that are not serving you.
If this scenario describes you, don't worry. It happens to all of us! I created a workbook that can help get you realigned with your mission to be the best mom possible and grow a thriving business helping others and making income.
Sign up for my newsletter and receive an instant download of the "Aligned Mompreneur" workbook. The workbook includes prompts, as well as a weekly time audit that you can print as many times as you need to assess where you are with your schedule and goals.
