S4 Ep22: Jezebel21 May 202500:37:13

How does the energy of Jezebel feel to you? Is she spicy, sexual, ritualistic… And could you see yourself showing up with your ancient beliefs in the God, Baal and the Goddess Asherah at the doorstep of a monotheistic culture? And then converting them to your ways? Was the world open to sex magic, blood magic and the teachings of a High Priestess?

Jezebel was a teenage Phoenician Princess who married Ahab, the King of Israel as the story in the Bible is told. Jezebel was also a Priestess of Asherah and showed up with hundreds of priests of Baal, priests of the grove, and a polytheistic religion. A political alliance could not have survived the difference between their spiritual beliefs, Yahwism and Baalism. As most powerful women in the Bible, she was vilified, condemned, and murdered by a powerful prophet. Jezebel is now a cautionary tale to not be promiscuous, powerful and in your own integral energy.

S1 Ep24: The Morrigan22 Nov 202200:38:35

The Triple Goddess was known to the ancient Celts as the Morrigan. She was a member of the Tuatha Dé Danaan, the fairy people of ancient Ireland. Has the archetype of the Maiden, Mother, and Crone been fragmented by the patriarchy? At one point the patriarchy tried to separate the Morrigan into three aspects, like the Gorgons.

The Morrigan was a goddess of protection and was called in before each battle. There are stories of the Morrigan running ahead of the wars, naked in front of all of the men and covered in blue power symbol paint. She runs toward her enemies and at the last moment, shape shifts into a raven and circles the battle ground to watch for the dead.

Find out how to work with the Morrigan on your altar and discover your inner triple goddess!

S1 Ep21: Samhain31 Oct 202200:25:43

In this week's episode, April, Harmony & Maggie dive into the history and origins of Samhain, also known as Halloween. Discover the history of trick-or-treating, costumes, the Day of the Dead (All Saints Day) and sacred sex on this day. Explore how to celebrate this holiday as a modern day witch.

Trick-or-treating and going door-to-door originated in Ireland. Children would sing songs for people's dead ancestors and the neighbors would give the children little cakes in exchange for their songs. They would also wear costumes that could protect you from being seen by the dead on the other side and also hide you from the fairies and supernatural beings.

Some of the history brought to the surface in this episode is of the lover's union between the God, Dagda and The Morrigan, a Celtic goddess. The sacred sex between these two always occurred on October 31st.

Celebrate Samhain today with decorating altars, blessings, fire festivals, certain herbs, colors, the practice of mediumship and divining. Tags us in your Instagram posts so we can share you Samhain celebrations!

This is the feminine time of year when your receptive nature is more attuned with feelings, intuition and communication through the veil of the living and the dead. Everyone's process with connecting to the other side is different so don't judge yourself and be kind. Everyone processes these messages in a different way. S1 Ep18: Spell Work, Part 211 Oct 202200:38:12

The first rule of witchcraft is, "First, do no harm." What you put out, you will receive tenfold. So intention is very important when you think of every thought and every word that you speak as being a spell. Spell work is creating your whole life as a spell and letting everything you do revolve around that intention. In this episode, discover new spells that you can do as you move through your daily life, and create new intentions to support your witchy lifestyle!

Speaking your truth and living your true intention is the most important part of spell crafting. What you talk about and pay attention to is influencing your consciousness and subconsciousness all of the time. Our brain becomes hardwired from external influences and also ancestral trauma. Tuning into frequencies of love and positive energy creates a ripple effect for your future ancestors to attune themselves to and for healing to occur through your lineage.

Some of the original Spell Work focused around birth and death as these were the most wondrous and miraculous transitions. You are closest to Source energy and your divine sovereignty at the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead. Some of the most powerful spells used today have similar intentions and motivations as those of your ancestors from thousands of years ago. As modern day society is opening up to magic, and baby witches are on the rise, we have opportunities to make new traditions with loving intentions.

S1 Ep17: Spell Work, Part 104 Oct 202200:32:01

Did you know that the oldest, most ancient, authentic, simplistic form of invocation and supplication to the Gods is prayer. All witchcraft, spell work and everything that we have today started with the basic 101 of prayer. Early records of people trying to appease the gods or even making offerings is how ritual and ceremony was created with the idea that we leave something for the deity or for the person that we're trying to get the attention from so that we can find favor with them.

We can look at a spell and prayer as the same thing. Spell crafting is adding the craft practice to the prayer work, and together you're creating a manifestation. Ultimately, prayer, spell work, and manifesting are the same thing, and they work together like a weave. Being in the right place within yourself before doing spell work and really getting honest with yourself to how you feel about the other people in your life is how you energetically practice spell work.

S1 Ep12: Tituba and Grace Sherwood, Famous Witches of North America06 Sep 202200:37:10

Join April, Harmony and Maggie as they explore two historical witches in North America. The first woman accused of being a witch in Salem, Massachussets in 1692 was Tituba, a slave woman. This launched one of the most famous witch hunts in history where twenty-five people were killed for being a witch. Ergot poisoning is the culprit to some of the visions that may have led to the witch accusations, which has a similar effect to the body as the modern day drug, LSD. Cotton Mather used the Malleus Maleficarum, The Witches Hammer, a book published in 1486 to discover who was a witch.

Grace Sherwood, the witch of Pungo lived in the Virginia Beach area in the late 1600's. She was a midwife, cared for animals and had knowledge of herbs. She was accused of being a witch when her neighbor had a miscarriage. Grace was found to have two witch marks and was found guilty in a Colonial trial and sentenced to witch dunking. She wouldn't die after several attempts of dunking. She was kept in prison until 1714 and then was quietly released.

Blood magic, healing and giving birth to red coral! What else is Medusa known for? Join April, Harmony and Maggie as they discuss the snake medicine of Medusa. What does the reptile and snake energy stand for? Snake has always stood for wisdom and is connected to the  wisdom of sexual energy with the kundalini serpent.

After being raped by Poseidon, the famed goddess Athena cursed Medusa and her two sisters. April shares the traced roots of Medusa to a North African, Burbot religion. Stheno and Euryale, Medusa's sisters were two innocent women who were turned into gorgons, but their origins seem more connected to the Greeks. Was this story a narrative to induce fear of power, wisdom, and sexual energy? How did this effect the female wounding in history?

S1 Ep7: Medusa, The Sister Wound02 Aug 202200:27:58

Explore the goddess, Medusa, one of the Gorgons that was cursed by Athena for being raped and conceiving a child by Poseidon. Join April, Harmony and Maggie as they talk about the importance of the sister wound in history and the impact of another Goddess falling from grace.

Medusa's Story:

Medusa had dedicated her life to the Goddess, Athena and studied under her lineage. Medusa was famed to be a beautiful woman and had committed herself to a life of celibacy in her devotion to Athena. Poseidon desired Medusa and raped her. Instead of supporting a woman who had been raped, Athena then cursed Medusa and her two sisters. What is this sister wound about and how does it influence female relationships today.

The Gorgon, the snake headed goddess, was very popular in north Africa about three-thousand years ago. Perseus kills Medussa, and Pegasus springs out of the blood from her neck. Pegasus was the child of Medusa .Perseus, also known as Jason, flies over north Africa holding Medussa's bleeding head which creates the red sea, the red sea coral, and the red serpent.

The Sister Wound:

Harmony shares part of her mission is to help other women to be able to be seen and heard and heal wounds of sexual rape and abuse. Woman are afraid to even press charges because they are afraid of having the finger pointed back at them from not just the patriarchy, but from their sisters, and from their mothers. We need to understand this story of Medusa so that we can use it as our strength and so we're not repeating these same historical wounds.

S1 Ep: 4 Lilith, Out of the Shadows12 Jul 202200:36:29

Have you ever heard the story of Lilith? Join April, Harmony and Maggie as they talk about how Lilith was shunned, hidden and demonized. This biblical goddess is making a resurgence into main stream consciousness as one of the first divine feminine archetypes. Thankfully, the ancient Nag Hammadi scrolls that have recently resurfaced from their historical hiding place shed truth and light into her story.

The Story of Lilith:

Lilith has been referenced in the Kabbalah, the old testament, and in the Nag Hammadi scrolls. According to the Bible and ancient texts, Lilith was the first woman created out of the same dirt as Adam, the first man, or as another story tells it, taken from the skull bone of Adam. She no longer wanted to lay beneath Adam when having sex so Adam complained to God and she was banished from the Garden of Eden. Of course, it is under debate if Adam and Lilith were truly the first people on Earth because Lilith was banished to the land of Nod and there were people already living there.

Thrown into the Shadows:

One of the earliest Witch Wounds was being banished for not wanting to have sex on the bottom. Lilith continued to be demonized as her story was removed from Biblical texts and she appears next in Medieval times where she is portrayed as the wife of Lucifer, the Devil. Lilith stood up for what she believed was equality and fairness. She has been thrown into the shadows for centuries but she is re-surging into mainstream pop culture and she should be honored as a divine feminine archetype.

S4 Ep20: Nyx, Primordial Mother23 Apr 202500:32:47

Nyx, the primordial Goddess of Night, emerged from the void of Chaos. She may be the first incarnation of the Divine Feminine in the Greek and Roman tradition as her sentience thought herself into existence from outside of time and space.  Nyx is void of all light and her essence as an inter-dimensional being expresses the all powerful energy of the Goddess.  Nyx can provide a cloak of sacredness for protection when doing rituals. She is the ruler of the veil between the worlds of spirit and matter, and can assist between dimensions.

There is a myth that Nyx laid a silver egg and from that silver egg would hatch and come forth all the rest of the Gods. In some of the old stories, Nyx can asexually reproduce and she gives birth to Eris and Nemesis. She is also the mother of the Graea, Moirai, and Ananke. Nyx is said to have birthed many primordial energies. Her nickname is Nurse of the Gods and may be the only force that Zeus is afraid of. Explore this primordial Goddess of Night and how you can work with her for your manifestations.

S1 Ep3: Religious and Sexual Witch Wounds05 Jul 202200:22:18

Join April, Harmony and Maggie as they delve deeper into the witch wound and talk about religious witch wounds and sexual witch wounds. Divine feminine birthright means you were meant to have a true expression of your life force energy, your sexual energy. These witch wounds need to be talked about and expressed in a healthy healing environment.

Religious Witch Wounds:

Where does the need to be good come from? Harmony shares how parts of the Bible were removed and manipulated. People go to church for many reasons including needing healing. April shares her story of being asked to leave the Seventh Day Adventist church because she was challenging the church elders in order to understand the Bible deeper. Harmony shares her story of being in a court of 12 men, religious leaders of the Mormon Church, and having to share her story of sexual abuse without feeling safe.

Sexual Witch Wounds:

Maggie shares how American sexual energy has been repressed and how that creates a wound that detaches you and pushes you away from your life force energy. How does one return to their sexual energy and their divine energy to feel empowered and embodied. Sexual witch wounds can be cultural, societal and/or religious conditioning. Looking at what needs to be healed will lead you into and through your witch wounds. April shares your story of sexual abuse at the age of five with a nurse. She interpreted this experience as something was wrong with her and she was shamed through this abuse as it was integrated with her psyche at a young age. Harmony shares that in a group of women you will find more that have been sexually abused than not. This is what brought Harmony into wanting to be a Womb Priestess when she found out her daughters had been sexually abused. They talk about how important it is to talk about these experiences.

S1 Ep2: Opening the Witch Wound28 Jun 202200:31:50

Join Harmony, April and Maggie as they discuss the history of the symbolic witch. In this episode, they talk about how women are moving out of a survival mode from these witch wounds of the past and embracing the healing needed to thrive, not just survive.

Survival Mode: Survival techniques that have been carried over from our ancestors and past lives that we have lived are needing healing and love so that women can thrive and not just survive. The conditioning of women has been influenced by our parents, religions and cultures. It is important to recognize the divinity within ourselves and to love all aspects of our journey through compassion and empathy in order to move out of a survival mode that is no longer necessary.

Witch Wound:

Constantine was the first Roman Emperor to convert to Christianity. He sent armies out to kill anyone who was not of the same belief system. Women at the time were treated as second class citizens. After many of their husbands were killed, the women started to brew beer and sell it on the street corners. They wore pointy hats to be seen in the crowds. This is where we see the image of the "Witch" start to form with their pointy hats, stirring a cauldron. The word "witch" meant "she who gathers sticks or herbs."

During Witch trials, many women started judging and criticizing other women. They turned on each other for fear of being killed. Humanity can benefit when we heal through divine feminine empowerment energy.

Collective Consciousness:

The big shift happened 6000 years ago when we moved from a matrilineal society to a patrilineal society with the introduction of Zoroastrianism and monotheism. This is when the shift of power started between the feminine and the masculine. The energy in the collective consciousness holds vibrations of different layers of consciousness. There is a thread that connects everyone. We saw this consciousness thread during the Witch trials. Even without modern technology such as phones and internet, witch trials were happening at the same time in many different parts of the world. Our energetics feed the thread that connects the mass consciousness. If we all start connecting and embracing the divine feminine and resourcing ourselves with thoughts of equality, we can shift the collective consciousness. Having reverence for the Earth also helps us to appreciate Mother Earth and our physical bodies.

S4 Ep18: The Witch of Endor25 Mar 202500:38:14

The Witch of Endor is one of the oldest historical witches  that we can find that go back for thousands of years. The Witch of Endor is hiding in a cave, because all the witches and those who have prophetic gifts (besides the prophets, who were male) were cast out and driven off. King Saul, dressed as a beggar, finds the Witch of Endor to use her gifts of prophecy, mediumship and divination.

The Witch of Endor, raises the dead prophet, Samuel, and communes with the messages of the future, once more for the King. This story is one of the oldest historical references to divination in the Bible. She is known to be a witch and to practice mediumship. S4 Ep15: Columbia, from Goddess to Ghost11 Feb 202500:34:45

Why was this American Goddess forgotten and have we damaged ourselves in doing so when we left her behind? Did we leave part of ourselves behind?  Columbia represented the concept and idea of the birth of what was once a beautiful, new, incredible country that wanted to be the beacon, the light on the hill. Created at the inception of the country, she was beloved in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in the United States of America.

Named after Christopher Columbus, Columbia was the first American Goddess who faded out of history in the early twentieth century.  Once a Goddess who led the battlecries in the American Revolution, "Hail Columbia" was sung and spoken for centuries. The District of Columbia is named after her but why is she not revered and celebrated anymore? We need her blessings now more than ever. Let's bring her back!

S4 Ep14: Gatekeeping Eye29 Jan 202500:30:22

Join April and Maggie as they address a listener's question about a Goddess with one eye open and one eye sewn shut. Explore the power of sight in the physical and metaphysical realms as the witches explore the Graea, Lamia, and Manasa, who are all connected to the power of the serpent energy. Does the sight of a goddess need gatekeeping and what power is meant for the eyes of humanity?

The Graea shared one eye and one tooth amongst the three demi-goddesses. They revealed the location of their half-sister, Medusa, one of the Gorgons. Perseus stole their one eye to obtain the whereabouts of Medusa, leading to her demise. Lamia became the goddess of everyone's nightmares after receiving the Gift of Prophecy and the ability to remove her eyes and reinsert them at will. Manasa cured Shiva of a dangerous poison after having an eye burnt out by a jealous concubine. What do these goddesses have in common? They all have connections to the serpents and to the eyes.

S5 Ep4: Maria de Arburu21 Oct 202500:30:28

In this episode, we delve into the harrowing period of the Spanish Inquisition, focusing on the story of Maria de Arburu. Maria's story is not well-known, but she is force of strength and her story is to be honored and remembered. Despite the severe torture over seven years and witnessing the death of her fellow accused women, Maria maintained her innocence until her tragic execution on November 1, 1659, during the Auto-da-Fe´ ceremony.

As we create our altars for Samhain, hundreds of years later, we encourage lighting a candle for the ancestors that have come before to honor their memories. Take a moment to express gratitude that we can practice witchcraft and not be put to death for it, and that we can heal in our communities and not be ostracized, entirely, and hunted.

S4 Ep11: Serpents22 Dec 202400:33:50

Slither with the interaction between witches and serpents historically and the role of the Serpent in society. Snake medicine has always been attributed to wisdom, healing and transformation. Many people have an underlying fear of the serpent and is this because it is human's oldest natural predator? Or has patriarchy intervened with our natural attunement to power, sexual energy and our ability to shed our old skin and become something great in the world? Could some of the ancient serpent energy be likened to our star family when the goddess appears as half human, half snake?

Join April and Maggie for a riveting discussion about the Serpent as we celebrate Yule with her energy of letting go and regeneration. As the wheel turns, we hibernate into the darkness at this time of year and use her wise energy for healing. Feel yourself undulating and dancing with the serpent and allow her magick to infuse your transmutation.

Kali Ma, known as the Dark Mother and the Divine Mother, is a Hindu goddess. She is a fierce goddess of destruction and death as she is seen fighting demons and tearing down the fabric of creation. She is depicted as having skin like the milky way and hair like galaxies as she appears blue and black, wearing a garland of skulls around her neck, holding a sword of knowledge, a severed head dripping blood and a skull cap to catch the blood.

S4 Ep5: Inanna's Descent24 Sep 202400:40:24

After Gilgamesh turns down the advances of the Goddess Innana, she sends the Bull of Heaven to destroy him. However, the Bull of Heaven is killed during an epic seven day battle. Innana decides to descend to the underworld to talk with her sister, Ereshkigal, the Queen of the Underworld and the widow of the Bull of Heaven. Inanna is stripped of her seven divine powers and presents herself naked and bowed at the feet of her sister.

After being killed and hung up on a meat hook, she is brought back to life through a series of synchronistic events. She emerges and escapes the underworld. However, no one escapes the underworld without a replacement. When Inanna finds her lover, Dumuzi, he is not mourning her loss. She allows the demons to take him in her place in the underworld. Dumuzi's twin sister volunteers to take his place half the year, hence a representation of the Fall Equinox in the descent into the shadow.

Discover how this poem is an early representation of morality and sets the stage for pantheons of gods and goddesses to emerge in future timelines.

S4 Ep3: Magickal Tattoos27 Aug 202400:36:18

Your body is a temple, so why not decorate it? Discover why witches love tattoos to cultivate or embody an energy signature. Consciously choosing your tattoos for your magickal practice allows one to integrate the energy of what the tattoo means to the wearer, similar to an altar.

Join April and Maggie as they dive into magickal tattoos of their practice and of history. Amunet is a mummy that was discovered close to 2000 BCE. She is believed to be the High Priestess of a group of priestesses to the goddess Hathor that were found in Thebes together. When archeologists performed x-rays on the mummies, they were found to have concentric circles, lines, and dots, a lot of them around their abdomen and groin area, which they believe had to do with the sacred birth and a relationship to Hathor being the Goddess of earth and motherhood. The oldest tattoos that have been discovered are from a caveman named, Otzi. He has 61 tattoos which appear to have been very specifically and intentionally placed. The tattoos are believed to be ceremonial healing tattoos. Would you get a power tattoo for healing?

S5 Ep3: Witch Trials07 Oct 202500:28:57

Join April and Maggie as they dive into two distinct historical witches, the paths they have paved, and the healing energy that their stories remind us is still needed on our walk upon this earth. Let us remember their journeys with gratitude and love.

Mary Bliss Parsons was accused of witchcraft multiple times in the seventeenth century. She was acquitted on all accounts through many decades of accusations and survived the intense witch trials and legal persecutions of the times.

Malin Matsdotter is a historical witch from Sweden. Her story encapsulates the most horrific betrayal by her daughters and their accusations against her which led to her death by fire. Her story is one of the strongest examples of innocent defiance. Her cries changed the course of the witch hunts in Sweden and her death was a contributing factor to the beginning of the end of a horrendous time in history.
