#41 Karissa is Assistant Market Editor at Teen Vogue. She studied journalism and then moved to New York and enrolled in the fashion marketing course because a fashion internship that she loved was just for students.If she could go back she would have looked for a different fashion internship that wasn't just for students, because she agrees that the experience and being in the field is worth more than what you study. We also talk about how being organized is fundamental, especially when you have to deal with several shootings at the same time, including one with Bella Hadid or Cardi B. While interning at the top fashion publications, Karissa also launched her freelance styling gig that at some point made her lose her job at Cosmopolitan.
