Jaymi Heimbuch: Steal This Brilliant Webinar Strategy28 Apr 202201:22:26

From the time she first picked up a camera to document wildlife, Jaymi has felt the need to put images to work and engage viewers with the larger story of the photo’s subject.

Experiencing wilderness and witnessing wildlife is her passion and thus conservation photography is her purpose. As an outlet for her joy of teaching, Jaymi founded Conservation Visual Storytellers Academy.

Her photography and writing has been published by National Geographic publications, Heyday Books, Audubon, BBC Wildlife, National Wildlife Magazine, Ranger Rick and many more.

2 Things You CANNOT Leave Off Your Sales Page (but most people do)31 Mar 202200:21:11

When someone applied for our marketing mastermind, I always look closely at the copy on their sales pages.

Why?

Because sales copy is THE key to booking sales calls and/or actually closing the sale with cold (or lukewarm) leads.

There are 2 sections of copy that most sales pages are missing! Listen in to this short episode and then review your own sales pages to make sure these sections are detailed and specific!

3 Levers I Pull to Maximize Revenue in My Business24 Feb 202200:36:32

The advice I’m giving in this podcast episode works best for people who already have an offer that converts well. Think about the offer you sell the most of or the one that brings in the most revenue and consider how you can pull these levers for that offer.

The three levers I’m referring to are:

1) Traffic - Getting more eyeballs

2) Conversion Rate - Converting more of those new eyeballs to buyers

3) Price - Making more money per transaction

“The easiest traffic to get is often the hardest traffic to convert." - Claire Pelletreau

Let me tell you, too—this is not only about getting in front of more eyeballs or converting traffic, it’s also about building trust and providing pain relief for your clients.  Listen to Episode 182 on The Get Paid Podcast for a richer explanation of how to work with these levers to increase your profitability.

2021 Year in Review: What Happened With The Lead Lab10 Feb 202200:41:31

At the end of 2020, I decided to make a huge change to my business model:

Instead of focusing on selling my popular self-study ads course, I launched a high ticket group program. I’ve talked about it on the show before, but I purposely held back from charging details about the impact of that change until I spent a year working on it.

In this episode of the podcast, I look back at 2021, at my decision to launch The Lead Lab, at my biggest struggles and some fabulous wins.

I really want to understand why the fuck I have these issues with selling."

Ari Hale: The True Cost of Making $1,000,000+06 Jan 202201:10:00

Ari Hale started out as an online project manager traveling overseas with her son, Silas. It looked amazing from the outside, but she was overwhelmed and spent way too much time on her phone and computer instead of spending precious time with her son.

So she used her love of systems and automations to build a six-figure business that supported the life she wanted to live. Those same systems allowed her to sell that business.

Now she helps Neurodivergent Black and POC online service providers (freelancers, coaches, & consultants) become lifestyle and financially free so that they can positively impact their families and communities.

240+ Precise Interests You Can Use In Your Targeting

Today's episode is brought to you by a Google spreadsheet. People tell me all the time that choosing Facebook and Instagram ad targeting makes them want to throw their computer out the window and I don't blame them. There are a ton of options and that makes it easy for you to flush money down the Zuckerberg drain. So, I put together a big old list of what Facebook calls ‘Interests’ for you and a totally free spreadsheet separated out by niche. I also created a short PDF that explains how to go about using those interests so you don't waste a ton of time putting together your audience.

Internal Debate: Did I make a Huge Business Mistake?27 Jun 202400:43:43

I’ve made a lot of decisions in my business that, upon reflection, I’m not always sure I’d do again.

But, this particular choice really has me thinking. It might be one of my biggest regrets.

That is…raising my prices too soon.

It's not necessarily the choice, but the hastiness and motivation behind price changes. The lesson here is to discern whether you're actually initiating a new strategy or reacting to your unresolved money and selling fears.

It was a combination for me. So, I’m laying it all out there today to tell you my exact thoughts, as of today, and what I plan on doing going forward.

This Week on the Get Paid Podcast:

  • The original pricing of Absolute FB Ads and why it was so low

  • Why I went through so many price points and what I think about it now

  • When pricing is and is not a strategy - and often there’s more to look at before you make big changes

  • Learning to take the entire context of your launch and audience building into account before making big decisions

  • Why we should be collecting case studies like yesterday

  • Why I’m still happy with my current prices and what it took to get there

Dr Lindsay Padilla: You’ll Never Believe This Launch Story17 Jun 202101:26:36

Dr. Lindsay Padilla is an ex-community college professor who accidentally started a business while on the tenure track. Now, as the CEO and co-founder of the Hello Audio software, which takes your content and creates private audio feeds to make learning on the go much easier for your people, Lindsay challenges online industry norms of unfinished courses and unconsumed content with her product.

All of her business ideas were born out of her tenure-track years teaching adults online at a community college, the ridiculous amount of learning she's done in all things education, and the years spent growing her course creation business online.

“Once you get your feed going and your people love it, you don’t leave!”

                                                           - Lindsay Padilla

The Lead Lab: Get Paid to Grow Your List

This episode is sponsored by The Lead Lab, the program where I teach course creators and coaches how to get paid from their ads as quickly as humanly possible. I created The Lead Lab in response to the NEW reality of Facebook and Instagram ads. Once upon a time, it was relatively easy to spend a dollar and make 4 or 5 in return. But now that everyone and their mother have discovered the power of Facebook’s advertising algorithm, costs have gone up. That’s why I teach a straightforward strategy for recovering most if not all of your ad spend on your list-building ads. In other words? You get paid to grow your list.

To learn more, head over to clairepells.com/lab. If you’re running ads to grow your list, or planning to, come join us in The Lead Lab before you spend another dollar.
