A Poetry Moment from Asclepius Jones
vendredi 20 mars 2026 • Duration 00:57

Description:
KRELM TOOTHPASTE, proud sponsor of The Further Adventures of Rune, presents a refined (and highly suspect) Poetry Moment with Asclepius Jones, reading from Dante’s Divine Imbroglio.

The Further Adventures of Rune is a serialized fantasy comedy podcast and absurdist AudioToon, blending literary satire, long-form storytelling, and classic radio-play traditions.
New episodes released weekly. Ideal for listeners who enjoy absurdist fantasy, independent audio drama, and serialized fiction podcasts.

When the journey was barely half begun,
they found themselves in a darkling wood astray,
with shadows lengthening from the setting sun.
Inevitable, so often do they say.
“What was this thorny wildwood intricate
and are we also dying with the day?”
They asked Rune if the path would at once abate?
But the previous time he was even there,
He arrived in Hell all but a blank-ed slate.
— Canto I from Dante’s Imbroglio

There, Rune reconnects with his old contact, the enigmatic Mr. O, who seems determined to waste his time and dredge up painful memories… just for kicks.
