Our Story So Far…
Rune the Gray, reluctant hero and practicing drunk, has barely finished updating his will when he encounters Larry the Corpse, delivering a mysterious summons to the crumbling headquarters of The Obscurants Front, an anarcho-collective of misanthropes (and misanmorfs — let’s not discriminate). There, Rune reconnects with his old contact, the enigmatic Mr. O, who seems determined to waste his time and dredge up painful memories… just for kicks.
Meanwhile, Rune’s past adventures with the eldritch wizard Mingmumble of the Several Noses come into focus, along with hints of what Benni and the Gesserets have been plotting, and the enigmatic role of someone (or something) called a “Barlow.”
All this and more unfolds in the latest episode of The Further Adventures of Rune: Return of the Miggins — a serialized fantasy comedy podcast and absurdist AudioToon, blending literary satire, BBC-style radio play traditions, and long-form storytelling.
