This week on The Finger Guns Podcast we're back to our nonsense talking the latest game news and quizzes and what we're playing and all the stuff that you love. Rossko, Miles, Kat and Josh talk the difficulty of Shadow of the Erdtree, Xbox Game Pass coming to Amazon Fire Sticks and Konami staff wanting Kojima back for good.

In Game of the Week Josh (and Miles) have been checking out the Valorant PS5 Beta (and well, it's very good...), Miles has been playing the terrible The Sinking City but keeps going back to it even though it's terrible (who is writing this anyway?) while Kat has dropped 27 hours into Red Dead Redemption 2 after Miles made her play it. Nice Miles. Nice. Oh, and Rossko has fallen back in love with the gorgeous Tetris Effect.

Josh is recommending not going to The Trafford Centre as it's a 's***hole', apparently. Ugh. Miles leans into recommending House of Leaves, which is a book. Weirdo. Oh and Kat recommends an app called Family Wall, which is an app for couples to organise a sharedlist. We're here for the people folks.

Also Rossko is the head of a new kind of quiz this week which hopefully gets you thinking / screaming at your podcast playing devices. May the odds be ever in your favour.

We're back! The Finger Guns Podcast makes its triumphant return with episode 186, where Rossko, Kat, Miles, Josh and Yogdog get back together to talk all things video games and what we've been playing over the festive period.

Whilst the week has been somewhat light on news thus far, we manage to cram some minutes out of just what Bungie could be working on with their five unannounced projects and what we'd like to see new from the now legendary FPS developer.

Elsewhere Sony have finally revealed an accessibility controller, known right now as Project Leonardo. We talk the very good news that Sony have at last moved into the sector where all can play their games, and just hope it's not out of peoples reach when it comes to price. There's a whole lot to like about this product, but will Sony market it correctly?

Our main topic though is our Metacritic Predictions -Results. If you remember way back in January last year we took a selection of games that were due for release in 2022 and gave our own Metacritic predictions for each game. Well now it's time to jump back in and see how well we did. It's quite the listen!

There's also plenty of recommendations (including TV shows, creme eggs and oh yeah, some video games), Red Dead 2, Rossko gets vindicated over What Remains of Edith Finch thanks to Josh, Miles talks his love for Arcade Paradise and Yogdog talks playing with a selection of Fallout mods.

On our final podcast of the year we've managed to assemble our biggest cast so far with an almighty SEVEN Finger Gunners joining the pod and amassing an absolute cavalcade of madness. Joining Rossko is Kat, Miles, Josh, Sean, the returning Tom and Jonathan Brown (aka Yogdog) making his first appearance on the podcast as we talk all about our Games of the Year and everything that is to come.

We delve into our Game of the Year choices and share with the group just why these games were so damn special to us, elaborating on our written segments in the website GOTY article. There's a fair few of us now so there's a fair few games to get into, it's a hell of a list.

Elsewhere we talk hype for 2023 and whilst it looks like there's a certified banger dropping at least every single month we try to narrow it down with a hefty list of games we're looking forward to (but still manage to add plenty on at the end). With a simple cheer-o-meter we garner what the team is looking forward to the most and what we can probably do without next year, if anything at all. And also, we're still unsure whether or not we're allowed to bloody play Hogwarts Legacy or not.

A huge shout out to Kat also who put together an almighty Big Fat Game Quiz of 2022 which saw us take on nearly double the questions as normal and try to remember some of the nonsense we wrote in our reviews as questions. It's a hell of a laugh and we hope you can join in at home on at least some of the questions.

Never fear though our regular segment Game of the Week remains as Miles talks Crisis Core: Final Fantasy Reunion, Kat and Rossko get hype on the ridiculously funny High on Life, newbie YogDog talks Rimworld, Sean shares his thoughts on WhipDrive years after release (now shiny and better than ever on PS5), Tom tosses a coin to the next-gen Witcher 3 upgrade and Josh finally tries Vampire Survivors.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles, Josh and Kat get to grips with the weeks news of which there...well, there isn't an awful lot but boy, is this not an entertaining lark of a podcast anyway.

We get into the announcement of Starship Troopers: Extermination, a brand new 12 player co-op shooter adventure that takes us very much into the heart of the movie. We're all rather excited for this (well, except for Kat..).

Splinter Cell returns! Kinda. Not really. In a BBC Radio 4 audio drama? Bet you didn't have that on your 2022 bingo card, did you? The franchise returns once again without returning and we're all a little befuddled as to why Ubisoft aren't just making a brand new game in the series instead of milking Sam Fischer for all he's worth everywhere else.

We also talk Netflix's announcement that they're taking on development of a 'AAA' title. We don't know much else, other than it may be a shooter and it may be connected to one of their IP's. Are we about to see a major Stranger Things game on the horizon? What about Squid Game? Mindhunter ?That Witcher series they made would be a fun video game, don't you think?

Elsewhere, Miles and Kat share the love for God of War Ragnarok, Rossko has finally finished Horizon Forbidden West and Josh talks the almighty Goat SImulator 3 with huge praise. There's also a God of War themed quiz and some glorious recommendations to get your teeth into this week. Though oddly none of them are food this time...

Oh, and we follow the trails and tribulations of Kat buying a sexy gaming laptop throughout the podcast. It's a fascinating ride and one you'll want to follow until the very end. It's incredible.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles and Josh are back together once again to get through the weeks news and well, there isn't a whole lot of it so we talk about Call of Duty instead.

Well, as we keep up with the Golden Joystick award winners announcements throughout the podcast (Elden Ring for best multiplayer? Eh?), the gang discuss the ridiculous success of Warzone 2.0 and what it could mean for the future of the Royale, our own opinions on the game itself after jumping in together this week and more talk about the ongoing Microsoft / Activision acquisition saga. They offered ten years to PlayStation for CoD, would they accept? Well, we have no idea. But we speculate either way what it could mean for both companies.

Elsewhere it's been two years since the release of the Xbox Series duo and the PS5, so we give the systems a thorough going over about where they stand and what we've enjoyed and not enjoyed about them so far. With Xbox throwing their money around - with seemingly very little return just yet - and Sony banging out AAA after AAA, the two companies have gone down very different paths in the hope to grab your attention this time around. We discuss whether or not we see a future in either method and when we can expect Xbox to actually start living up to the cheques they're writing developers. Starfield has a hell of a lot on its shoulders.

There's also of course Game of the Week where Miles talks the brilliant Evil West, Josh gets hyped for Ship of Fools and Rossko digs into his backlog to get a little further in Horizon Forbidden West and talks the brilliant Once Upon a Jester, which you can pick up on Steam right now.

Josh also turns up with a Game Awards themed quiz which you won't want to miss and there's the latest on Miles' Saturnalia/Only Fans venture. It's quite the episode.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast we're all getting rather excited about the weeks big releases, namely God of War Ragnarok and Sonic Frontiers. Has Rossko caved and already brought Sonic? At the time of recording, no, but hey, there's still one hour to go before midnight.

Instead we decided to get together and talk the weeks news, and there isn't an awful lot to get into but we did indeed talk all about PlayStation VR 2, now that it's been dated and priced and we share our thoughts on whether or not we're going to jump into brave new virtual worlds on day one. It's a tad expensive one would argue, but in comparison to other VR headsets of this quality, is it justified? Sean being the man of reason helps us out with this one and we're eternally grateful.

Elsewhere in a follow-up to last weeks main discussion, Hideo Kojima's horror game OVERDOSE may or may not have been leaked on the YouTubes by a shirtless man. There's a whole lot of conspiracy with this one and we're fairly excited to see what ol' Kojima-san has up his sleeve this time around. Also, the shirtless man is totally Geoff Keighley.

We're also all in on Game of the Week. Rossko has lost himself to the PlayStation Starts rewards service for pointless collectibles, Miles has played a terrible castle simulator, Kat has once again played a cosy life sim on the Switch and Josh has spent the week playing one of Sean's favourites of the year, Kovox Pitch whilst Sean shares his impressions of The Chant with the group.

There's also a brand new audio quiz from Kat - with all the drama you expect from a Kat quiz - Rossko gets very excited about Sonic Frontiers reviews, Miles shares his opinions on Terrifier 2 and Sean's cat makes a couple of cameos. There's a whole lot going on in this ep, which is wild considering we only came up with two news stories to talk about.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles, Kat and Josh talk the weeks news with Hideo Kojima starting the hype train for this new project by stating it's a 'whole new medium'...um, whatever that could possibly mean. We try and decipher what on earth he's up to and see if it's at all related to his rumoured horror game 'Overdose' or if he's taking Death Stranding 2 in a wild new direction.

Elsewhere we talk yet again about the stigma of being called a 'gamer'. After a research study was revealed claiming that those who identify as 'gamers' are more likely to be racist and sexist, we try to break down what studies like this really mean and if we can at all stomach the phrase gamer at all and what it really means to the general populous. Are we all tarred with the same brush? And why is it exclusively video games that seems to be the punch bag for this? We discuss.

Then with the news that Naughty Dog themselves are working with a brand new Sony studio to create a new entry in a 'beloved franchise', we have some fun trying to guess what on earth it could be. Will it be a new entry in a Naughty Dog franchise or has Sony thrown them something from their esteemed back catalogue we haven't seen for a while? Time will tell, but boy it's fun to speculate.

Game of the Week of course returns with Kat talking Broken Pieces, Miles finally getting to talk about possibly his game of the year, Saturnalia, Josh talks the last few hours of Fortnite's halloween content Fortnitemares and Rossko finally jumps into retro compilation Sonic Origins.

Josh also talks more horror movies with a review of Barbarian, Rossko randomly has Top Gun Maverick land on his door and has finally seen The Batman and Kat recommends food. We're nothing if not consistent here at The Finger Guns Podcast.

Sorry, we didn't mean to frighten you here at The Finger Guns Podcast but it's our Halloween episode so here comes the frights! Kind of. Not really. This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Kat, Miles and the returning Josh talk all the weeks biggest news and get a bit excited about the weeks releases. Taylor Swift has an album coming out this week you know, we may have mentioned it a few times. We may spend the entire pod trying to get into the presale for tickets. Maybe. Definitely.

In other news we talk the fallout of the reveal that Bayonetta voice actress Hellena Taylor was only offered $4,000 to reprise her iconic role in Bayonetta 3, sending ripples across the industry on fair wages for voice actors. Platinum Games didn't take it all that well, and there's seemingly far more to come from this story. We chat about what's fair and how we're going to, regretfully, skip the game because of this.

Elsewhere we're still talking about the Microsoft acquisition of Activision Blizzard with new information coming to light regarding Sony's part in all of this. Sony have kicked off saying they're worried Xbox will monopolise Call of Duty and secure exclusives for their players, meaning players will leave PlayStation to access them. Now, where have we heard that before? It's a very strange story that's going on and on and on, and well there's very little else to add apart from we're kinda hoping it's going to be over and done with soon.

A huge release this week sees A Plague Tale Requiem finally come to consoles and PC and our own Toby was lucky enough to review the game. Rossko chats with him to discuss (as spoiler-free as possible) the game and his thoughts on it, and whether it not it lives up to the superb original (Find it at 01:25:00)

To celebrate Kat has devised a quiz all about A Plague Tale and we all get a bit giddy and hype about its release (which is right now, it's available now. GO!).

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast it's our 175th episode! To celebrate this major milestone we, er, well there's only three of us but what a trio! Rossko, Kat and Miles get together to talk the weeks news and where better place to start than with the clues pointing to a brand new Crash Bandicoot game being revealed at The Game Awards this year? Rumours are rife with speculation that we may see Crash's long awaited game Wumpa League at Geoff Keighley's annual game trailer expose, so be on the look out for that. Is Kat hyped? Well, you're gonna have to listen to find out..

Elsewhere the biggest news of the week without a doubt was the reveal of the first footage from The Super Mario Bros. Movie from Nintendo and Minion's creators Illumination. The discord around this game has been rather insane so we try to collate it all and share our own opinions on what the trailer showcases and if we're excited to see the rest of the film. Oh, and if Chris Pratt is the right voice for Mario. Will this continue long into the wee hours? You better believe it, Rossko might bitch about this until the sun scorches the entire planet so buckle up.

Ahead of a possible full podcast on the subject we also get into the affects of gaming on our mental health, as each member of the team share their experiences with games and how they've helped them get through some hard times and some of the stigma that still surrounds gaming as a whole. 'Never feel stupid for finding comfort in a video game'.

Our Game of the Week segment returns with Miles talking Undetected, Kat shares her slice of Lemon Cake and Rossko goes all basic bitch and talks his time with FIFA 23.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Kat, Miles and Sean get together to talk the weeks big news and basically there's only one place to start and that's the inevitable death of Google Stadia. After the announcement this week that Google will be pulling the online-only service in January of next year, we talk what went wrong, what Google didn't do well (and also what they did), what they could have done to save the service and, most crucially, how the developers had no idea this was happening until Google announced it. It's an entire cluster of bad times all round, and we break it down for you as best we can.

Elsewhere we talk the fallout of leadership heads at Disco Elysium studio ZA/UM which lead to them 'involuntarily' leaving the company, leaving the sequel without its original creators. Where does this leave the new game? Are fans going to be as excited without their voices attached?

As we were recording there was also some breaking news regarding a remake of Horizon Zero Dawn, which may be arriving on PS5 in the near future. There's nothing confirmed yet, but it looks like this rumour is building up steam amongst the press who have corroborated the information. We shall see what happens. Also, the Horizon board game is apparently really difficult.

Finally we each discuss what we're looking forward to playing before the years end, there's still plenty of gaming to be had even if Miles is still refusing to play Gotham Knights. You know he will. We all know he will.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast it's a proper OG cast as Rossko, Sean, Greg and Toby get together to talk all about EGX 2022. Granted, only Sean and Greg went this year but they have a whale of time talking to Rossko and Toby about their time at the event, what they played, who they shmoozed and what they thought of the event overall, whilst namechecking some indie highlights such as Robobeat, How To Say Goodbye, To Hell With That Guy, Trinity Fusion and Soulbound.

Rossko of course asks about Sonic Frontiers and gets perhaps the shock of his life when Sean and Greg both agree that there may just be something there that's worth getting excited about this time...maybe. Greg and Sean also sing the praises of Street Fighter 6 after having several bouts on the upcoming fighter.

Elsewhere we quickly get into the weeks biggest news with Cyberpunk suddenly doing massive numbers, Splinter Cell's remake getting 'modernised', a big update on the Rockstar Games hack and our thoughts on the first full trailer for HBO's TV adaptation of The Last of Us. It's divided the camp, that's for sure.

We of course also have our game recommendations, Game of the Week includes No Place for Bravery, Diofield Chronicle, Family Man on Switch and QUBE's 10th anniversary and everything notable that's due for release this week. It's a big one.

This week on a packed Finger Guns Podcast Rossko sits himself back in the hosting seat with Sean, Greg, Kat, Miles and Josh to talk about the weeks news and what on earth could we talk about. Well, there was a certain thing about Grand Theft Auto 6 that happened.

Yes, GTA 6 leaked across the internet this week and we have some thoughts. A lot of them not good. We try to dissect the timeline of this madness and work out where Rockstar Games go from here in dealing with this. It may not have huge implications after all, but it's not all that great, eh? We talk it out and see if the hype remains (spoiler; it does).

We also get into the PSVR 2 news and after a week of previews and reveals, the news that the new headset will be incompatible with PSVR 1 games. We're all a bit gutted about it and we discuss whether or not this impacts our excitement for the headset. Also, are Sony planning an external disc drive for future PS5 models? The smallest of rumours have landed and we talk the possibilities and how it would actually be a good thing. Maybe? We'll see.

In Game of the Week Rossko (and Kat, still blowing Rossko's mind to this day) talk the brand new Chromey season of Fortnite, Miles talks Sunday Gold, Kat finally gets to share her thoughts on Little Orpheus, Greg jumps back into Cyberpunk 2077, Josh has played a whole lot of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Sean finally gets his hands on his hugely anticipated Return to Monkey Island. There were tears shed..

It's another Reaction Special and my word, we've only got two showcases to cover in one! First up we talk our highlights of the *very long* Nintendo Direct and what we're looking forward to getting our hands on, we talk the aftermath of the GoldenEye announcement and how it doesn't sound quite as exciting as first appeared along with whether or not there were enough JRPG farming sims coming to the Switch.

We then do a swift deep dive into the PlayStation State of Play where we found something for everyone, including a Tekken 8 announcement and that rather glorious trailer for Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja's Rise of the Ronin. Oh and that God of War Ragnarok game that people seem to be excited for? Yeah, we talk about that too.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast, Kat, Miles, Sean and Josh get into the weeks news, which is basically just jumping into the primary showcases that hit the last few days.

First up we get into the first ever Disney / Marvel games showcase as part of the D23 Expo, and each pod host shares what they're excited for from the show, which is certainly a mixed bag. Sean loved it though, naturally.

Talking of Sean loving games we then get into the Ubisoft Forward and talk everything you need to know about the future of Assassin's Creed. Ubisoft are going all out with the franchise and it's super exciting to see what's to come. Sean deep dives into why with a few theories and some hype for the future of the franchise. We also talk about the rest of Ubisoft Forward but let's be honest, it was all building towards Assassin's Creed and everything else was...well.

Anyway! Elsewhere Kat is very excited about Tomb Raider going home to Eidos and Crystal Dynamics and all is well.

And in Game of the Week Josh spent the week on the basketball court with NBA 2K23, Sean is back on his FMV trip in the wild and wonderful The Gallery, Miles has been working his way through Steelrising and Kat has been spying on the general populous in City Eye.

This week on the 170th episode of The Finger Guns Podcast Kat takes the reigns with Miles, Sean, Tom and Josh joining your host to talk through the games news including these rather suspiciously exciting Silent Hill 2 image leaks. The team are split on whether or not they're real but we're rather looking forward to see where this goes as Konami has begun to get a little bit louder about what's to come from them.

After last weeks showcase shenanigans we're back on traditional podcast duty talking the weeks biggest news including Nintendo returning with a shiny new Direct showcase (though no mention of their new console is confirmed). What on earth have they got up their sleeve to show us? We're a little dumbfounded so it's gonna be a hugely interesting show.

In Game of the Week Kat has been checking out the PlayStation edition of Sea of Thieves and it may have turned into a slight obsession. Josh has been finally playing the absolute banger that is Persona 3 Reload, Miles has smashed out the very 'Miles' game V Rising. whilst Rossko has been checking out some Steam Next Fest demos such as The Alters, Parcel Corps and well, Building Relationships. Yikes.

And in recommendations Kat talks The Last Campfire, Josh recommends a documentary about real estate developer Robert Durst, whilst Miles recommends sea-faring horror Still Wakes the Deep.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko returns along with the also returning Kat to talk all the weeks gaming news with Miles, Tom and Josh. What gaming news? Well, there isn't a huge amount of 'news' per se but there are a few interesting tidbits that we wanted to get into including Microsoft accusing Sony of 'blocking' games from launching on Xbox Game Pass due to some under the table dealings. Well, it's probably not that excessing but we break down what this headline really means and what it could actually be referring to in the greater gaming landscape. Should we know this is happening? Probably not, are we gonna talk the hell out of it anyway? We sure are. That's what we're here for.

Elsewhere after Hogwarts Legacy and Marvel's Midnight Suns both got hefty delays this week we ask if delays really matter anymore if they're just a ploy to keep the hype train moving along or genuine ways to ensure developers don't get overworked in the lead up to release. Is a rushed game always bad? Yes it is, and we try to focus on the positives as we see two more games slip into next year. Don't worry, we find plenty. Kinda.

Game of the Week showcases the likes of Two Point Campus, Devolver's latest indie darling Cult of the Lamb, spooky rogue-lite Saturnalia, the glorious Voyage and the fantastic laundy/arcade management sim Arcade Paradise.

This week we talk Ubisoft's rather terrible no good very bad year continues to be an absolute shit-show with a bunch of delays and cancellations leaving their release slate fairly barren for the upcoming release windows, whether or not we're ok with the full roster of MultiVersus characters costing £200 at launch(!), Naughty Dog jumping through their own hoops to release a 10-minute gameplay video for The Last of Us Part I to get a hold of the leaks that have got out there and whether or not we're still debating whether or not £70 is a justifiable price point for a near ten year old game re-release and of course with Aloy's motion capture artists returning to the studios is their Horizon Forbidden West DLC on the way? We discuss.

Elsewhere we talk the games we've been playing (alongside Stray - which gets its own section and you may be surprised to hear what we actually think of it) such as Miles's time with Toy Soldiers HD and Rossko getting back into Animal Crossing: New Horizons and having an absolute blast with Hypercharge Unboxed (which he calls Hypercharge Unlocked on the podcast because he's an idiot).

There's also some major recommendations and Kat returns with a 'siblings in games' quiz which will test your metal. Maybe.

They said it couldn't be done. We thought it would never happen. Hell, we thought they were kidding. No, we really did. But here we are. Our own Miles Thompson and his literal celebrity co-host Ethan Lawrence have actually found time in their very busy schedules to talk for nearly two and a half hours all about Koei Tecmo's gloriously over-the-top hack and slash series Dynasty Warriors.

Essentially, everything you need to know about the series is included here, along with a whole lot of discussion about things that aren't all related to the series but is kept into the final cut because well, why not, something had to pad this one out.

For the hardcore, Miles and Ethan get into extreme detail about the game, the novels, their legacy and their importance to gaming as a whole. Also, Ethan is topless the entire time. Of course, this is an audio medium so you won't see such things, but you're made aware fairly on. Keep that in mind as you listen, it makes it all far more sexy. Sexier than you could ever imagine two guys talk about Dynasty Warriors for nearly 150 minutes. It's quite something.

This week on the pod Rossko, Kat, Miles, Tom and Greg get together to talk what's available in a fairly barren week of news. First up we discuss the re-reveal of Skull and Bones and its bonkers release date (the day before Ragnarok?!), if we have any level of hype for the game and what we're looking forward to, if anything, from Ubisoft's long-gestating pirate adventure.

We also talk our highlights from the Nacon Connect show, with a fair few games looking pretty damn exciting from one of the more prominent AA studios around at the moment. There's a lot to look forward to.

Elsewhere Rockstar have been sharing news that they're starting to ramp up production on GTA 6 with the news that Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV remasters were planned before decided to be canned in order to focus on GTA 6. Would we have liked to have seen them see the light of day or has the Definitive Edition Trilogy put to bed any interest in shiny Rockstar remasters?

In our Game of the Week Greg talks about jumping into Disco Elysium again, Tom has hit a bit of a gaming wall (happens to the best of us), Miles finally talks about his time with horror adventure MADISON, Kat finally experiences the wonderment of Tetris Effect and Rossko is exploring Hope County again in Far Cry 5 whilst jumping into the frenetic madness of Arcadegeddon.

We've also got another game music quiz (this time remastered and professionally done and stuff), we briefly get into Kojima being mistaken for an actual assassin, Greg shares his festival fuelled weekend, Kat and Miles are getting ready for a graduation and Rossko, well, Rossko is editing podcasts and going to work. There's also a brand new segment called 'In Defense Of...' where we each have a minute to talk about a game that we think is hugely underrated and do our best to encourage each other to play it. This one definitely doesn't go off the rails at all. Nope. Not this one.

We also talk hands-on with that glorious indie puzzler Hue, Miles gets into a bit more Spellforce, Ethan shares his love for a brand new Early Access title on Steam called Vampire Survivors and Rossko has all but given up on Demon's Souls after what could be argued as a 'valiant effort'. Maybe.

This week on The Finger Guns Podcast Rossko, Miles, Kat and Toby get deep into the weeks biggest news including a recap of our favourite moments from Sony's State of Play livestream, GoldenEye being very close to returning after Achievements were spotted being popped, a possible return to Crash Bandicoot for Toys For Bob and where we see the future of Sonic games after a less than stellar reception to Sonic Frontiers gameplay. A very crestfallen Rossko tries to build his positivity up, but there's very little to work with anymore.

Elsewhere we get into our rather conflicting thoughts on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, Rossko talks The Boys and Kat talks her first few hours with the Sweeney Todd-inspired cooking sim Ravenous Devils, along with a nice Final Fantasy XVI update from Toby.

In Game of The Week this week Rossko talks being away from his console and exploring more of the Apple Arcade, Miles talks jumping into exploding foxes in Samurai Riot, Kat discusses her quite shocking rage being created by the rather unique Super Perils of Baking and Toby talks his continuing adventures in Death Stranding. We're back! Huge apologies for missing an episode last week - life very much got in the way for all of us - but now Rossko, Miles, Kat and Josh are back and we're talking up all the latest news and catching up on what we missed.

First up we all get our teeth into the State of Play from last week, sharing what we thought our favourite reveals were along with stuff we're surprisingly excited by (apart from Rossko, who goes on quite the existential tangent). We all get a little bit hyped for Astro Bot and wonder what on earth Concord really has to offer anyone. Oh, and the other stuff in between.

We also get into the reveal of Call of Duty Black Ops 6, the Game Pass confirmation and the controversy already surrounding the game regarding content. There's a fair bit to get into so we delve in as far as we can without knowing an awful lot. Oh, and Toys For Bob are so obviously making a new Spyro game now that they've confirmed a publishing deal with Xbox. Can you take a guess at who is super excited about that one?

Kat has been checking out Little Hope from the Dark Pictures Anthology, Josh has used his well deserved days off to play cyberpunk roguelite The Land Beneath Us and Miles has finally got his hands on Hades II and well, he likes it alot. Oh, and Rossko has turned on his Xbox and played the glorious Hypercharge Unboxed!

In recommendations Miles has finally seen The Boys (well the first few eps), Josh is recommending a Netflix show called Scavengers Reign, the animation that everyone is talking about and it finally gets to us (we get to all the cool stuff...eventually). Rossko wants everyone in the world to check out the brand new Eminem track and Kat watched most of the new J-Lo film Atlas..but not all of it.

We're back! After a week-long hiatus (because life very much got in the way) The Finger Guns Podcast triumphantly returns, with Rossko and Greg double-teaming this weeks news to attempt to try and make sense of it all. Fortunately for Greg, our news rundown was very much focused on his particular interests, with a Death Stranding sequel being seemingly spoiled by Norman Reedus himself and Kojima's reaction, Trophies confirmed to be coming to certain classic PS1 titles as part of PlayStation's brand new Plus tier service, The Witcher 3 getting its shiny next-gen upgrade seemingly this year and some possible Final Fantasy VII news arriving next month. He got himself a chance to actually talk without shrugging and saying 'no', which is a delight (nothing to do with the fact that he was the literal only person that could make it on this week).

There's no quiz, but there's a fun recommendations section where we once again rip into Star Wars, because why the hell not, eh? There's nothing else to talk about at the moment.

This week on the Finger Guns Podcast it's a double team as Rossko and Miles talk through the weeks news and get rather excited about what's to come for the next year. In our tear through the weeks news we talk Square-Enix dropping some major IP to Embracer for an absolute bargain, we discuss whether or not we can still get excited for Prince of Persia The Sands of Time remake as it changes development hands after several huge delays, we talk what's we're excited to see at next months Microsoft's Xbox and Bethesda conference and get confused at PlayStation's subscription stacking ban ahead of their new service rolling out in a couple of months.
