My jaw is still a little dropped at how poignantly HBO Max delivered on The Last of Us live action series by showing us Bill and Frank's relationship.  And let's also mention how this relates to Joel's psyche.

Scooby-Doo has decades worth of legacy fans, and they're pretty upset with the HBO Max original Velma.  And, while I love Mindy Kaling's writing in general, I can see their point - this show goes too far in a direction that is out of touch with the Mystery Gang's established IP.

Let's finally start picking back up where we left off - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Chapter 14, where we are finally getting a good introduction to Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic.

King Zog and Princess Bean are under some kind of family curse, and I believe that it involves merfolk!  Hear me out before you call me insane!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is taking off, so let's discuss what's happening as everything is starting to finally come together.

Disney Pixar's Luca is such a charming film, but...  Luca himself is FAR LESS interesting than his buddy Alberto - so let's give his character some time and attention today!

Hermione Granger has just mixed up a polyjuice potion, so Ron Weasley and Harry Potter are off to spy on the Slytherin House!

Since I'm transitioning a lot of videos to podcast episodes, this is another theory that's a bit older now (created before Age of Resistance came out on Netflix).  I still think most of it's solid though, so please enjoy my thoughts on Thraa and the Dark Crystal universe.

Okay, I love Beauty and the Beast, but I really do find the ending to be pretty flat and unfulfilling.  Let's talk about what Disney could have done differently.

ReBoot:  The Guardian Code was a big let down for me (a 90s kid who was obsessed with the first 3D animated series).  It especially pained me to never see Matrix or AndrAIa appear in the new show, with zero explanation as to where the heck they went.  So, let me take a shot at explaining that myself in today's theory.

Watch out for that Whomping Willow Ron!  Ooooh, poor Car-y!  This was definitely an interesting chapter of Harry Potter compared to the movie.
