FBR Episode 44 - The Patriarchs, The Promise, and God’s Nation19 May 202500:37:28
The Patriarchs – Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, received the blessing and mandate from God that would frame the 4th Dispensation.  With the world now divided into nations after Babel, God created His own nation (Israel) through which the world would interact with Him and His plan.  If the nations blessed Israel, they would be blessed.

This would hopefully lead them to chose to accept the plan of the God who blessed them.  But if they cursed Israel, they nations would be cursed and the Dispensation would fail.  In this week’s podcast, we will examine the Promise/Covenant God gave the forefathers of Israel and also look at the history of the Patriarchs from Abraham to Joseph (which reads like a soap opera…or reality TV), concluding with the Exodus from Egypt.

FBR Podcast 43 - Your Greatness, and Why Government Tries to Suppress It16 May 202500:51:01
Your greatness is a HUGE threat to human governments!  So much so that governments are designed to suppress it.  Greatness comes from uniqueness, and when you operate in your uniqueness, you have the capacity to be great!  And since we are ALL unique, we can all be great!  The problem is that by its nature, the human government can only function if greatness (including your greatness) is limited to the rulers.  So the Mystics do everything in their power to homogenize us (make us all think and act the same), in order to curtail our individual uniqueness.

The Mystics of Force (rulers) do it through laws.  The Mystics of Spirit (social engineers) do it by using our tendency for comparative thinking (pride) to get is to homogenize ourselves!  They convince us that uniqueness is unfair!  And since we tend to fear that another’s greatness might be more valuable than our own, we do their job for them by peer pressuring others to behave and think in an “acceptable” way!

The mystics use (or misuse) reactionary terms like Equality, Social Justice, Patriotism, Race, Gender Equality, and even Religion to get us to police each other. The result is monotonous conformity.  But the God of the Bible embraces our uniqueness!  In fact, the ONLY way for God’s Plan to work is if we are ALL great!  God needs your greatness in order for Heaven to be what He wants.  We’ll discuss it in this week’s podcast.

FBR Episode 34 - Can you be Saved if You Never Hear the Gospel?09 Apr 202500:28:07
Why is faith important to God?  The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God.  Which means that WITH faith, it IS possible to please Him.  But why does God desire our faith?  Why does faith please Him?  Also, if faith is a requirement of salvation, what about people in parts of the world that have never had a chance to hear about Jesus?  Is it fair for God to condemn people to Hell if they never had a chance to hear the orthodox Gospel message?  We’ll address those topics on this week’s podcast

FBR Episode 33 - Is Faith in God Rational or Irrational?07 Apr 202500:32:29
Faith in God –  Is it an irrational belief it something you can’t see?  Or are there instances where faith is logical and reasonable?  Which kind of Faith does God expect from us? The truth is that we ALL live by faith whether you are Christian, religious, or atheist.  No one has knowledge of EVERYTHING, therefore some measure of faith is required no matter what your worldview.  Logical faith is based on knowledge and experience, while illogical faith is believing something in the ABSENCE of evidence (like believing in evolution…).  In this week’s podcast we will begin a series on faith.

FBR Episode 32 - The pre-flood world05 Apr 202500:44:00
Did the Great Flood of Genesis 6 really happen?  If so, was it world-wide or regional?  And do we have any evidence? Also, what might the earth have been like before such a cataclysmic event?  I discuss these questions on this week’s podcast

FBR Episode 31 - Noah, The Flood, and the End of Knowledge26 Mar 202500:30:17
Noah and the Great Flood. Why did God flood the earth? Where did Cain get his wife? Is the “Mark of Cain” racial? Why did pre-Flood people live so long? Is the Gospel Message hidden in Genesis chapter 5? Why did Noah and his family escape judgment? What kept pre-Flood people from having faith? All these questions are answered in this week’s podcast!

FBR Episode 30 - Longing For Eden: The Key to Desire13 Mar 202500:35:07
Longing for Eden is at the core of all of our desires. In Eden, mankind had perfect government, perfect fellowship, and perfect provision. Humanity was made for the perfection of Eden and nothing short of that perfection will ever satisfy us. But since we are subject to the pride of our fallen state, all of us, religious AND atheist, seek to recreate that perfection WITHOUT God. Our efforts and failure to do so is the story of our tragic human history. Only by turning to God can we truly reclaim our deepest longing. In this week’s podcast:
  • What we lost when we fell from Eden
  • How we try to replace paradise
  • Why we desire to regain Eden without God
  • How the judgment and curses of Original Sin are loving and merciful
  • Why natural disasters CANNOT be blamed on God

FBR Episode 29 Original Sin and the Forbidden Fruit10 Mar 202500:41:29
The Forbidden fruit was the catalyst for Original sin, death, and the curses God placed on Adam, Eve, and the Nachash (serpent). But what was the forbidden fruit? Was it an apple or a fig (short answer: neither). And why did eating it give Adam and Eve knowledge of good and evil? Also, why did God render the specific judgments of Genesis 3, and what are the deeper meanings? We’ll address those topics on this week’s podcast…

FBR Episode 28 - Does God Need Evil06 Mar 202500:29:16
Does God NEED evil? That question may sound sacrilegious, but when you think about it, the entire Biblical plan of redemption was predicated on the fall of man and the subsequent plan for salvation (through which God showed us His love in the form of the sacrifice of His Son). If there were no evil, there’d be no sin and no need for salvation. So is “evil” a necessary part of God’s plan? The obvious answer is no. In this podcast, I tell you why evil isn’t necessary, as well as the most effective way to fight evil (it’s probably not what you think…)
FBR Episode 27 Create Good Destroy Evil28 Feb 202500:29:50
To create is good, to destroy is evil. When Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they obviously gained knowledge of good and evil. But what does that mean? Our definitions of good and evil are often subjective and contradictory. The Bible links “good” to creation, and “evil” to destruction. But the Bible also says that God can do evil (destruction). How can that be if God is good. As with most topics, we’ll need to look a little deeper to get the full definition. In this week’s podcast:
  • How our subjective definitions of good and evil can actually make Hitler “good”
  • How the Bible defines “good”
  • The true definition of Evil
  • Why Evil can’t exist on it’s own
  • What does the Bible mean when it says God does “evil”?
  • How God’s “evil” actually leads to long term Good
  • How Satan’s “good” leads to long term Evil
  • What is dualism and why to evil forces embrace it?

FBR Episode 26 - The Cure for Death27 Feb 202500:21:21
Blood is the conduit of physical life according to the Bible. Jesus also stated that words (thoughts) are the source of spiritual life. We are born dead spiritually and we are dying physically because the blood and thoughts that are meant to nourish and repair us are corrupted due to our imperfect fellowship with God. But if we had access to perfect blood and perfect thoughts, we could “cure death” and have eternal life! In this week’s podcast:

How is blood essential to life?
Why it’s so important to God (and our spiritual enemies)
How WORDS are essential to spiritual life and repair
The true source of eternal life

FBR Episode 25 - Life and Death in the Bible24 Feb 202500:33:29
Being alive has to be more than just “not being dead”. Jesus said that He would make you “more alive” and give you abundant life. Those ideas would be impossible if life and death were just binary states of being. So what are the Biblical definitions of life and death? If eating the forbidden fruit meant death, then why didn’t Adam and Eve drop dead right after they ate it? In this week’s podcast:
  • The definition of death
  • Why death doesn’t actually exist on its own
  • The definition of life
  • How life is qualitative, NOT quantitative
  • How we were designed NOT to die
  • Why the REAL cause of death is separation from God

FBR Episode 42 - Why Governments Fail: False Eden and Immoral Man14 May 202500:33:02
Governments fail, and will ALWAYS fail, because they all rely on the existence of the impossible in order to function optimally.  That impossibility is perfectly moral human beings!  Human government is man’s attempt to recreate the perfection of Eden without God. But every government and societal theory, institution, entity, or structure; whether secular or religious, can ONLY reach this Edenic facsimile if all of humanity is always and completely righteous and just (which, ironically means that all man’s utopian governmental ideas can only work if all men receive Biblical Salvation!).

Of course, this is not man’s nature (far from it) so governments institute laws and punishments to force subjective morality onto man. And If man fails to live up to this impossible standard of perfect morality (whether by choice or force), the governments fail…only to be replaced by yet another futile government system.  Man will remain caught in this cycle of futility until God sets up His perfect government.  In this week’s podcast, we will examine the origin, nature, and futility of Human Government.

FBR Episode 24 - Is "Jesus" a Religious Idol?21 Feb 202500:35:21
Hypocrisy from religious Christians is one of the main reasons that unbelievers are reluctant to embrace the Faith. Tragically, that hypocrisy comes from religious people trying (and failing) to be “nicer” than Jesus!!  These attempts not only warp the image of Christians, they corrupt the message of the Gospels, AND they result in Idolatry! In this week’s podcast:
  • The root of religious hypocrisy.
  • How religion robbed us of God’s true Name.
  • Why the “Jesus” promoted by religious people bears no resemblance to the Jesus in the Bible.
  • What was Jesus REALLY like?
  • How religious Christians damage themselves and others by trying to be “nice”.
  • Why do God’s laws and commandments sound religious?

FBR Episode 23 - Religious Brain Damage: Secular and Spiritual19 Feb 202500:28:16
Brain damage is the hallmark of a highly religious thought process – and I’m not just speaking figuratively. Religion can cause actual physical damage to the chemical receptors in your mind! And don’t think you’re immune to this malady if you’re secular. ALL people practice religion to varying degrees because we ALL promote the ideas of absolute righteousness and justice (GOD) in our pursuits (and of course trying to be right and just WITHOUT God is the definition of religion). In this week’s podcast:
  • What the Bible means when it references “religion”
  • Why James 1:27 actually validates the true definition of religion
  • How unbelievers prove they believe in God when they pursue social causes
  • A brief tangent on the history of global warming/climate change
  • Examples of secular “religions”
  • How the religious thought process causes cascading brain damage

FRB Episode 22 Religious Pride17 Feb 202500:22:55
Religious acts you perform are not about God.  They are actually all about YOU!  God hates religion because religion is based on pride.  When Jesus was on earth, the only people He had a problem with were the religious peddlers (Pharisees).  So what is religion?  Why do we perform it?  And why do we think it’s from God?  In this week’s podcast:
  • The definition of religion
  • The “benevolent” reason why we get religious
  • Why you can’t get to heaven by “being good”
  • How religion is self-delusion
  • When you are religious, you are trying to be superior to God
  • Why do many Christians practice religion?

FBR Episode 21 - Guilt, Justification, and God’s Mercy14 Feb 202500:28:57
Our unconscious mind makes us feel guilt when we do an injustice. We don’t like feeling guilt, so we seek some kind of justification in order to settle the guilt-debt. But did you know that this thought process demonstrates God’s mercy for our sins? In this week’s podcast:
  • What is Justification and why do we need it?
  • Why do we feel guilt?
  • How our subconscious mind is like a computer
  • Do you justify God, or yourself?
  • Why the guilt/justify cycle is proof of God’s mercy
  • The WORST form of justification

FBR Episode 20 - Original Sin: Naked and Ashamed12 Feb 202500:34:34
Original Sin is usually defined as the eating of the Forbidden Fruit by Adam and Eve. But I would contend that what happened immediately AFTER they ate the fruit is much more important. Why? God did not immediately judge Adam and Eve after they ate the fruit. Instead, He asked them questions! Their responses to God’s questions were the determining factor in the success or Failure of this Dispensation and Original Sin. In this week’s podcast:
  • Why were Adam and Eve ashamed to be naked? (wouldn’t your spouse be the person you’re most comfortable being naked with? There’s obviously something more going on here)
  • What does the Bible mean by the terms “naked” and “uncovered”?
  • What REALLY happened to Noah when he was “uncovered” in his tent?
  • Why did God ask Adam and Eve questions before He rendered judgment for their disobedience?
  • How could Adam have answered God differently and changed history?
  • The first example of Justification
  • Why did God have 2 Cherubim guard the way to the Tree of Life?

FBR Episode 19 - Was the Eden Serpent a talking snake?11 Feb 202500:33:10
The Serpent is the most infamous character in the Eden narrative. But was Eve really deceived by a “talking snake”? Biblical, etymological, and logical evidence shows that the Serpent (“Nachash” in Hebrew) was NOT a snake. So what was he? How did he deceive Eve? Why did he desire the fall of man? In this week’s podcast:
  • A review of Eden and Man’s pre-fall status
  • Why vegans are so annoying (I go a bit off topic here)
  • The temptation of Eve
  • Reasons why the Nachash was NOT a snake
  • Evidence that the “Serpent” was Lucifer/Satan
  • How did Nachash come to mean serpent/snake?
  • What was Original Sin?

FBR Episode 18 - Eden: Paradise Lost07 Feb 202500:36:59
Eden was the paradise we lost due to Original Sin. Would you be surprised to know that Eden was not only a garden but also a great mountain where God held court with his mightiest Angels? Is it possible that the location of Eden affects modern global politics? The story of Adam and Eve is so familiar that we take it for granted, and in doing so, miss out on important insights. In this week’s podcast:
  • Why did God “rest” on the 7th day of Creation?
  • What does it mean to be “made in the image of God”?
  • What was the purpose of the trees in the Garden of Eden?
  • How was Eden paradise, and why is it fallen man’s ambition to get back to Eden without God?
  • If the garden was in the EAST of Eden, what was the rest of Eden like?
  • Who are God’s “Divine Council”?
  • Where MIGHT Eden have been located and how does this location impact the modern world?

FBR Episode 17 - Is God humble? The Story of Human History06 Feb 202500:18:18
Humble is not an attribute we generally associate with God. Holy? Yes. Almighty? Sure. Loving, righteous, and all-knowing? Of course. But when was the last time you heard God called “humble”? Have you ever?  But if God is righteous, and being righteous means being contrastive, and being contrastive requires humility, then doesn’t God HAVE to be humble? The answer is yes! Not only is God humble, the way He demonstrates His Humility is the story of our entire history on Earth! In this week’s podcast:
  • Can we get to Heaven by always being right like God?
  • How and why God is humble
  • How God demonstrates His humility through His interactions with man
  • Why it would be UNJUST for God to unilaterally implement His plan for us
  • What are the “Dispensations”? Am I a dispensationalist? (short answer – no)
  • Why the term “7-year Tribulation” is inaccurate and cannot be used to justify a Post-Trib Rapture (ok, I got a bit off-topic here…)

FBR Episode 16 - How to Think Like God and Always be Right05 Feb 202500:27:26
To think like God, you must have a thought process that is always and completely righteous. Believe it or not, we actually have this ability!  We use it every day.  In fact, we LOVE using it on other people  – but rarely use it on ourselves, because doing so would require something most of us struggle with: HUMILITY.  However, when properly mastered, this thought process will not only ensure that you will always be right (righteous), it will allow you to end any disagreement in seconds.  In fact, if world leaders used this thought process, we’d have world peace in a matter of hours!  In this week’s podcast:
  • How can we always be right when much of what we think is ALREADY wrong?
  • The reason that red and blue Jellybeans are the official FBR logo
  • The definition of humility and why God gives such high regard to the humble
  • The definition of Pride, why it’s so easy, and why God hates it so much
  • Why pride is the source of ALL disagreements (and will GUARANTEE that you’ll go to Hell)
  • Why religion is the WORST form of pride
  • How to end ANY argument in less than 2 minutes
  • How relying on God is the ONLY way we can be righteous and humble

FBR Episode 15 - The Meaning of Life04 Feb 202500:33:23
Heaven is the Meaning of Life!  The reason we are so perpetually unsatisfied, the reason we can never be truly happy on earth in spite of our best efforts is because we were created for something, for SOMEPLACE exponentially greater!

To paraphrase C.S. Lewis, “If you have a longing for which nothing in this world can satisfy, then the only logical conclusion is that you were made for a different world”.  But if Heaven is the answer to “What’s the Point?”, then how do we get there?  And more importantly, why does God WANT us there?

 In this podcast:
  • The true meaning of life
  • God’s greatest desire (and how a perfect and complete God can even HAVE a desire).
  • How man was made to dwell in Heaven
  • How Marriage is the KEY to the Meaning of Life
  • Why ALL creation is “hardwired” to worship, but man’s free will makes it VERY dangerous
  • How to be like God

FBR Episode 41 - Leaders of Organized Religion: The Mystic Behind the Curtain12 May 202500:56:30
The leaders of organized religions are people I call “Mystics”.  They stared at Babel, and have spread to every corner of the world, amassing power and influence by guarding access to their secrets.  In the secular world, they exist in secret societies that influence governments.  Or as members or hereditary priesthood and “royal bloodlines” that consolidate and hoard power from the people.

But they are also found in “Christian” churches! So how do “Christian” mystics amass power and influence when we all have access to the Word of God?  They claim that the information God has revealed to man is incomplete!  There is a secret treasure trove of juicy knowledge that God has only given to his super special elite followers.  And of course, God made them the holy, anointed guardians of this knowledge.  So if you want to know the real, honest-to-goodness, full and complete truth of God, you must submit to their authority and only believe what they say about God!

We will discuss the origin of the Mystics in this week’s podcast.

FBR Episode 14 - If God is Good, Why is there Evil?04 Feb 202500:27:51
If God is good and all-powerful, then why is there evil in the world? Wouldn’t a good, loving, and benevolent Supreme Being stop evil before it happens, and/or immediately punish evil-doers?  Whenever I’ve spoken with unbelievers about their hesitance in accepting the existence of God, it usually comes down to these questions.

And they are actually very logical questions to ask. But the fact is that it would be unrighteous and unjust for God to stop evil before it happens! And as much as we may think we want God to intervene in this manner, the truth is that if He did, we’d HATE it, and we’d hate Him! It all comes down to the nature of man, why God made man the way He did, and His plan for us.

In this week’s podcast:
  • The nature of man and why man is unique and special
  • Free will vs. volitional will
  • Why God (and Satan) do NOT have free will (PLEASE listen to my explanation in the podcast BEFORE you condemn that statement).
  • What does God desire and how does man fit into the fulfillment of that desire?
  • Why God CAN’T (for the most part) stop evil before it happens
  • Why it would be unjust for God to always judge evil immediately
  • If God DID stop evil and punish evil the way we think we want Him to, WE WOULD HATE IT!
  • How God’s delayed punishment (mercy), is just and is the only way we can be forgiven and justified

FBR Episode 13 Darwinism, The Deadliest Religion on Earth01 Feb 202500:38:55
Darwin (and his ridiculous theory ) are not only an affront to empirical science, but he spawned the most cruel, brutal, inhuman, murderous, oppressive, and morally bankrupt philosophy in history! Darwinian Philosophy condones and promotes genocide, racism, class warfare, eugenics, Nazism, Communism, and the suppression of the poor and infirmed. Yet despite its nightmarish aspect, smirking atheists and secularists blithely embrace it while blaming religion and faith for all the world’s problems!  Worse still, apathetic Christians let them get away with it.  In this week’s podcast
  • Why evolution is a religion
  • Reactions to last week’s podcast on evolution
  • The origin and limitations of Darwin’s theory
  • How Darwinian evolution is not empirically scientific
  • Why this philosophy renders your life meaningless
  • The lesser-known Darwin book that led to genocide, racism, and war
  • Why racism is the dumbest rationalization on earth
  • How atheism is responsible for more war and death than all religions combined
  • How Margaret Sanger’s Darwinian philosophy led to infanticide
  • Why the blame for the proliferation and mainstreaming of this gruesome philosophy lies at the feet of Christians!

FBR Episode 12 - Evolution for Dummies30 Jan 202500:46:50
Evolution is NOT science! It’s an utterly asinine and ludicrous fairy tale promoted by brain-damaged people who voluntarily and intentionally choose to believe what they know is impossible rather than accept the obvious truth of a supernatural creator. Evolution is SCIENTIFICALLY impossible. Not unlikely. Not improbable…IMPOSSIBLE! That is not my opinion as a Christian. It is a fact that is EASILY proven through empirical science. I will not use God or the Bible to disprove evolution. It is such ridiculously fallacious tripe, that it quickly falls apart on its own under objective observation! In this podcast I will show:
  • The TRUE definition of science
  • How the so-called “war” between faith and science is a fabrication
  • How every step along the evolutionary path, from the “Big Bang” to the advent of simple life on earth, is scientifically impossible.
  • How NO OTHER planet in the universe could sustain life
  • Why the evidence for intricate design is undeniable
  • How the probability of the building blocks of life (let alone actual sentient life) occurring by random chance is impossible by exponentially unimaginable magnitudes
  • Proof that high-level scientists do NOT believe in evolution
  • Why scientists who know better still chose to embrace this moronic affront to science, and intentionally damage their brains to do so.

FBR Episode 11 Biblical Creation and the Age of the Earth30 Jan 202500:39:37
Is Earth billions of years old as evolutionists and “Old Earth Creationists” say, or is it only a few thousand years old as “Young Earth Creationists” purport? Does the creation narrative in Genesis 1 help answer these questions? The answer is a blunt NO! If we’re being completely honest, we have to admit that Genesis 1 frankly does a TERRIBLE job of giving a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the enormous complexity of the physics and biology of creation. But what if that’s NOT the intention of the passage? So why was Genesis written the way it was? What IS the age of the universe (and does it even matter)? We’ll examine those questions on this week’s podcast, including:
  • Why the creation narrative is so brief and lacking in detail
  • The REAL reason that Genesis 1 is in the Bible
  • Did God create the world in a state of order or chaos?
  • What is the so-called “gap theory”
  • The true message of the Book of Job (I kind of went off on a tangent…)
  • When and how did Satan fall?
  • Why trying to figure out the age of the earth is meaningless

FBR Episode 10: Creation - Something out of nothing!28 Jan 202500:23:34
How did God create the universe? The Bible said that He simply spoke it into existence. Is that even scientifically plausible? In this podcast we will look at the physics of creation, and show that it’s not only possible for God to have spoken creation into existence, it’s the ONLY explanation that fits what we know about science on a quantum level! This episode gets pretty technical, but I try to make it easy to understand. We’ll cover:
  • How real is the “real world”?
  • What are the basic building blocks of matter?
  • Is “solidness” just an illusion?
  • How quantum physics connects the physical world to “thought”.
  • Do we actually live in “The Matrix”?
*PROGRAMMING NOTE* I apologize for the audio quality of this podcast. It sounds like I’m broadcasting from inside a tin can. I obviously had some technical issues and I didn’t have time to re-record the episode.
FBR Episode 9 Is God a Trinity?25 Jan 202500:31:32
Is God three gods or one?   What is the concept of the Trinity and why is it so controversial? Is there Biblical evidence that God is three “persons”? If so, what does that mean, and HOW can God be singular AND multiple? Whether or not God is a Trinity has less to do with theology and more to do with LOVE!  I’ll explain more in this week’s podcast. Plus, just for listening, you’ll receive 3 FREE BONUS GIFTS!!
  • BONUS GIFT 1: How to respond to people who say Christians aren’t being loving when we have the audacity to occasionally be less than nice
  • BONUS GIFT 2: How to shut down people who accuse you of being a “judgmental Christian”. Not only are Christians allowed to be “judgmental”, Jesus COMMANDS us to be!
  • What is the doctrine of the Trinity?
  • Why is the doctrine so controversial?
  • BONUS GIFT 3: How to get rid of Jehovah’s Witnesses with 5 Bible verses that will ensure they never come back
  • Why God’s nature allows for the possibility of the Trinity
  • How LOVE requires at least three persons
FBR Episode 8 Love and Atheists23 Jan 202500:24:55
Atheists argue that the God of the Bible isn’t a God of love. And technically, they’re right! God is a God of absolute righteousness and justice. The ultimate EFFECT of being right and just is love! So then, what is love? Is it a feeling, or a choice? In this podcast we’ll look at an argument I had with an annoying atheist (is there any other kind?) that led to the true definition of God’s love. We’ll also cover:
  • How you can tell if a person is an atheist (or from New York) in 60 seconds
  • How atheists tacitly admit that they are insane

FBR Episode 7 Can We Trust the Bible22 Jan 202500:33:55
Is the Bible full of contradictions and errors of logic and science? Can we trust the Bible as a reliable information source from the First Cause of creation, or is it just a primitive book full of fallacious myths and religious superstitions? We will address those questions and more on this week’s podcast, including:
  • Is the Bible untrustworthy because it was written by men?
  • Can we rely on the information in a book that was written thousands of years ago?
  • Doesn’t the Bible condone slavery, oppression of women, and other unjust practices?
  • Hasn’t the content of the Bible changed and been tampered with over the years?
  • Isn’t the Bible full of contradictions?
  • There are so many interpretations of the Bible, how can we know which (if any) are correct?
  • If the Bible is from an all-knowing God, why doesn’t it answer ALL the mysteries of the universe?
FBR Episode 6 Is the Bible the Word of God21 Jan 202500:17:38
Is the Bible the Word of God? Can we prove that it came from the First Cause of the universe? We learned in the last podcast that the First Cause has to consist of the causeless principles of righteousness and justice that it must be ALWAYS and COMPLETELY right and just. And that’s ALL  we can definitively know about the First Cause based SOLELY on human understanding. Any other information about it would have to come from the First Cause itself. Is there such an information source?  Obviously, Christians believe that information source is the Bible, but they are not alone.  ALL belief systems, religious and secular, believe that they have information from the First Cause. But which of them (if any) are right? And can the information be objectively proven to be from the First Cause? On this podcast:
  • The various belief systems that claim to have knowledge about and from the First Cause
  • A contrastive comparison of that knowledge and information based on what we already know about the First Cause
  • How the Bible is unique from all the other “holy books”
  • Some controversies about the Bible
  • How my snarky college professor inspired Faith By Reason

FBR Episode 5 Proving God in 10 sec20 Jan 202500:23:09
You can prove that God exists in just 10 seconds!!  Taking the information that we’ve covered in the previous episodes, we can discern the definitive nature of God!  Not only that, but in discerning the truth of God’s nature, we can discover our own nature and that we, like God, are eternal spirits!  We’ll also cover:
  • How to understand who you REALLY are
  • What is “spirit”, and what does that mean?
  • How could the non-physical (spirit) create the physical universe?
  • Why the REAL you is timeless and eternal (whether you like it or not)
  • The limit of what we can know about God based SOLELY on human understanding
  • *BONUS* How to become wealthy without doing any work

FBR Episode 40 - The Mother of Harlots (and Organized Religion)09 May 202500:28:30
The Mother of Harlots is the title given to the original false religion which started at Babel (Babylon), and gave birth to all the false religions around the world.  But in a denotative sense, the physical Mother of Harlots was the Queen of Babel – the mother/wife of Nimrod, known as Semiramis.

Through her deceit, manipulation, deception, and lust for power, she created the first organized spiritual opposition to God’s plan (religion), but corrupting the Gospel narrative, and inserting herself and her family in the place of the Holy Trinity!  When God judged Babel and scattered the population, each group took a version of that first organized religion and adapted it to their, resulting in the various ancient religions.

Who was Semiramis, and how did she create organized religion?  We’ll talk about it on this week’s podcast.

FBR Episode 4 How Does God See Time18 Jan 202500:28:34
If God is Transcendent (outside of time), then how does He relate to our physical time domain? Bible prophecy makes it clear that God can predict the future. But is the future “set”?  If so, then is everything already predetermined?  Do we really have free will?  We’ll examine how God might experience time in this podcast, including:
  • Can causality alone explain how God can predict the future?
  • Why looking at the past can help us understand how God sees the future.
  • Does God see the future happen, or does He make it happen (or both)?
  • How do stories give us a glimpse of the eternal perspective?
  • Can we get insight into how God experiences time by watching Star Wars movies (even the crappy episodes)?

FBR Episode 3 - Where Does God Come From18 Jan 202500:22:27
Was the cause of existence natural, or supernatural?  IF the universe had a First Cause, then understanding everything we can about it will get us closer to an answer to the question we asked last week -  "What's the point of existence?" In this week's podcast, we begin to explore what we can know about the First Cause.
  • Have time, space, matter, and energy always existed, or did they have a beginning?
  • Did the universe come into existence in accordance to the natural laws of physics?
  • If not, then what can we say about the First Cause of existence?
  • What are the laws that govern existence?
  • Why a messy room is proof that the universe cannot be infinite
  • How the First Cause is OUTSIDE of time and space (and what that means)

FBR Episode 2 - What's The Point?15 Jan 202500:17:20
Whether you are Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, atheist, or agnostic, we all face the same fundamental question – we all want to know “What’s the point?”  We want to know why we’re all here.  We want to know why EVERYTHING is here, and what it all means.  The first priority of this podcast is to address these questions.
  • Do we have a higher purpose?
  • Why are we perpetually unsatisfied?
  • Would having more money, fame, sex, status, and pleasures REALLY fulfill us?
  • Why do we feel drawn to seek purpose “outside of ourselves”?
  • Does existence really…exist? (or are we living in the Matrix)
  • Are there rules that govern existence?
  • Why finding the cause of existence is THE key to understanding ”the point”.
*BONUS*  How to make money by beating up a moral relativist!

FBR episode 1 Introduction14 Jan 202500:21:04
If God is real and Christianity is true, then they should conform to objective logic and reason! Welcome to the first Faith By Reason podcast.  The FBR blog has been around since 2010 and it’s up to nearly 100 posts examining Christian Philosophy with logic, reason, and systematic analysis (and a snarky sense of humor).  This podcast is another way to engage my readers and provide exposition on the subject matter in the blog.  In this first podcast, I’ll cover:
  • An introduction to FBR and the podcast
  • The format of this podcast series and the blog
  • My rationale behind creating faithbyreason.net
  • Who should listen to this podacst (and who should NOT)
  • A little bit about who I am, why I’m doing this work, and why I’m NOT religious.

Messiah 2030 - Fatally Flawed?08 Jan 202501:06:04
Messiah 2030 is a very popular series of videos that feature extensive and exhaustive research to prove that the Second Coming of Jesus will occur in the year 2030.

This idea fits with my personal eschatology (much more so than the ridiculous "Little Season" idea that I talked about recently), and quite frankly, I'd love for it to be true!

But while these videos are very well done and feature an extraordinary and admirable amount of content and effort, the 2030 theory is not without flaws.  Some of them are relatively minor, however, there are a couple of flaws in this theory that are serious...possibly fatal.
Genesis Series Ep. 2 - Do we take Genesis seriously?02 Jan 202500:45:37
How does man view the Book of Genesis - and the Bible overall?

Many see the Bible as either a textbook of Judeo-Christian terminology and ideas, a source of guidance and comfort, or a book of comprehensive history. The problem is that in totality, the Bible doesn't really fit any of those categories. The Bible is much more personal than that.

When it comes to the Book of Genesis, secular man dismisses it as myth, while explaining away the oddities of the ancient world through fraudulent theories such as the Annunaki and ancient astronauts. (and the so-called Emerald Tablets of Toth presented by the fraud Billy Carson)

Many Christians don't take Genesis seriously and are in fact embarrassed by it as it seems to conflict with "science". But since man is inherently flawed, so is his perspective of Genesis.

We'll examine this topic in part 2 of our Genesis introduction.

Genesis Series ep 1 - God's Perspective27 Dec 202400:39:36
Welcome to Genesis: Back to the Beginning! Genesis is the key to understanding who God is, and what He wants (God's Will). The ENTIRE Bible is in Genesis. The rest of the Bible is essentially a commentary on Genesis!

In this first episode.

  • I'll explain why I decided to do a verse-by-verse study of this amazing book.
  • We'll look at the primary reasons that God dictated Genesis (and the rest of the Torah) to Moses.
  • And how I plan to teach this book.

It's going to be a wild ride!
The Little Season of Satan – Hidden History or Heresy?17 Aug 202401:00:26
There is a lot of eschatological "noise" on social media and alternative news about the so-called "Little Season" of Satan, and whether or not we are currently in it. The Little Season theory essentially states that we are in a Post-millennial period between the 1000-year Kingdon of Jesus and the Great White Throne of Judgement. Revelation chapter 20 states that after the Armageddon scenario, Satan is imprisoned for the 1000-year Millenial reign of Jesus. After which, he is released for a "little season" to gather the nations to overthrow Jesus in Jerusalem. According to this theory, we are in that season right now! This means that the rapture, the Tribulation, Armageddon, the Second Coming of Jesus, and the 1000-year Kingdom have ALREADY HAPPENED!! The proof point promoted by people who espouse this theory is the advanced "Tartarian" architecture that we see remnants of around the world. This apparently speaks to an advanced civilization with extraordinary technological know-how that vanished no more than a few hundred years ago. According to them, this abandoned technology proves that Jesus ruled over an advanced society in the recent past (and then He apparently just abandoned it...and us). But does the Little Season and Tartaria fit Biblically, historically, and logically? The answer is a resounding NO! A mere cursory examination of this theory shows that it is utterly ludicrous! So why is it being promoted so vigorously? I was puzzled by this until I noticed that the promoters of this theory, tended to also hold to another long-held and equally poor eschatological theology. And the Little Season is their latest attempt to justify their bankrupt beliefs. I break it all down in this special episode of Faith By Reason Refuting silly escatology https://faithbyreason.net/revelation-unveiled-ep-2-mans-perspective/
Revelation Unveiled – Ep. 60: The Conclusion14 May 202401:12:46
https://youtu.be/kQr7nbDuY6Y "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show His servants things which will quickly come to pass". Those words are how we began this incredible journey through the Book of Revelation. And now, 60 episodes later, we are ending our exploration of this amazing and provocative book, with this conclusory episode. Over the next hour, I summarize everything we've learned during this study, and I end it with the final salutation from Chapter 22
Revelation Unveiled Ep. 59 Our Eternal Purpose!25 Mar 202400:30:39
https://youtu.be/CdyAkSNcDU0 Believers in Jesus will spend eternity in the presence of God. That sounds great, but what will we be DOING for eternity? The Bible (and most Bible teachers) seemingly treat this important subject in a rather vague manner. However, if we look at the big-picture details of God's will, our purpose in eternity is actually pretty easy to see Here is the link to Flowcess I mentioned in the video - Find your uniqueness! https://www.flowcess.com/
FBR Episode 39 - Are All Religions the Same? The Origin of Organized Religion:07 May 202500:38:09
Are all religions the same?  Many people think so.  And it’s almost understandable when you look at the fact that most religions share the same themes of “god(s)”, creation narratives, the fall and redemption of man, supernatural intervention, and apocalyptic judgment.  Some of them even feature a “virgin birth”, and the death of a “god” in order to save mankind.  Furthermore, many of these various religious texts predate the Bible by hundreds of years.  So is the Bible just a collection of older religious beliefs complied by the ancient Jews as many secularists believe?
Absolutely not!  The Bible is unique in many ways that we’ve discussed previously.  Furthermore, God’s plan was known by men LONG before any other religion was established.  In fact, I would argue that all other religions are corruptions of God’s plan.
Where and how did God first reveal his plan to mankind?  We’ll explore that question on this week’s podcast.

Revelation Unveiled Ep 57 : Top 10 Myths About Heaven22 Feb 202400:32:36
https://youtu.be/29G0IoPRxkM Heaven is the eternal state that we all long for. Even those who are not Christians, still acknowledge the desire to be rewarded for the good they have done on earth and spend an eternity in perfection. The concept of Heaven is ALMOST as ubiquitous as the concept of Hell. It is a part of our popular culture. And as such, it is the subject of as much (or more) mythology than truth. In this episode, we will explore 10 popular myths about Heaven, and look at the Biblical truths that address or dispel the myths. Revelation Unveiled Ep 56 – Heaven is Hotter than Hell!10 Dec 202300:22:25
https://youtu.be/3zUi_CX0ZCU Hell, aka the Lake that burns with fire and brimstone, will certainly be hot. But it will NOT be the hottest place in eternity. There is a place that will logically, scientifically, and Biblically be hotter. That place is HEAVEN!! How can Heaven be hotter than Hell, and what is the true nature of the torment that those in Hell will experience? We'll talk about it on this week's episode.
Revelation Unveiled Ep 55: What is Hell? (and what it ISN'T!)10 Dec 202300:32:07
https://youtu.be/dtKVo5h8C70 The concept of Hell is not only a foundational doctrine of Christianity, it is readily accepted by most religions to some degree, and even by those who claim to be atheists. The reason for this is that EVERYONE believes in justice, and that is ultimately what Hell is all about. But whenever a doctrinal concept becomes a part of popular culture, it becomes rife with myths and false narratives. In this episode, we examine what Hell is and just as importantly, what it is NOT.
