January 29- February 4, 2024  This week starts with system busting Uranus connecting to master mover Mars. The fog is lifting. Our heads are clearing. All planets are direct.

Monday holds an awesome productive energy with Mars and Uranus hooking elbows and supporting each other to bust out of ruts.  This is fast paced supportive energy.  A breath of fresh air.  Things can’t stay the same. Change is the only thing we can count on. How exciting!

On the 27th Uranus moved direct after 5 months of thwarting.  We can happily be our weirdest selves with Uranus strong in the Cosmos.  In fact, the best way to your best life is simply being you. In all your stange and wondrous glory.  

Friday we have another helpful energy when Mercury and Neptune do a little dance. We can think in dreamy ideals. Laze around and let our minds wonder.  This is a productive activity where inspiration has a chance to be born.

When we get stuck on the hamster wheel we lose our mojo.  We need to break from the so-called real world so we can see the possibilities. And there are many.

We are really entering a new world with Pluto in Aquarius. Things are moving faster than fast. Rest assured you can keep the pace. You were born for this place.

January 8-14 2023 The New Moon in Captain Capricorn grants access to our deep down inherited abilities. We can tap into the work we came here to do.

On January eleventh the New moon is in Capricorn. Now we can see it is worth the hard work. One foot in front of the other. One step at a time is how you get where you are going. Relax into that idea and trust the process.

Pluto acknowledges where we came from and gives us strength to cut binding ties. Venus is putting us in touch with what we value, what brings love and pleasure. Uranus reminds us how important our freedom to be ourselves really is.

This is a magical time of synchroncity. New seeds are planted and they are solid, wise, enduring seeds. You are responsible for the routine effort it is going to take to make these seeds sprout and grow into something you are proud of. Something future you is proud of.

With Pluto involved in this new moon there is an understanding of integrity and loyalty. We may not be able to live up to our own expectations but we damn well better try. There is no room for weakness here. We first have to be loyal to ourselves before we can be there for others.

Chiron is Trining Venus to remind us all the effort we put in to heal and grow was of great value. Not just to ourselves but to those in our orbit. It is not always easy to feel but it is what it takes to get to the highest version of our most amazing timelines.

January 1-7 2024 Happy New Year. Mercury Goes direct in a foggy connection with Neptune. Dive deep. The answers do exist. Mars arrives in Capricorn in tip top shape. We can see the horizon but it's foggy right in front of us till mid January.

Mercury moves direct on January first. Happy New Year. We are still in a fuzzy state. Inspiration tidbits are floating all around but nothing is certain with Neptune challenging Mercury.

And that's ok. We don't need to know everything every second of every day.

Art happens in these gossamer places. So get busy and do nothing for awhile. Sooth your sweet and tired soul with music and beauty. Indulge in magical moments. No need to explain anything. Not yet. Not now.

Mars moves in Capricorn on the 4th. Mars is our umph and in Capricorn it knows what it needs to do. It has support to climb the mountain of dreams come true. It can build a legacy. What needs some of this boss energy in your life?

Though it is the new year in the Gregorian calendar it is the not really the time to launch. The spring is when we get moving in new directions. December 26, 2023 The Full Moon is in Cancer, a great night to cozy up with all that makes you feel at home. Contemplation is rewarding. So are hot baths, cozy slippers, your favorite stew and heartwarming films. 

Reward yourself now with the comfort of home. If your home is not comfortable, worry not, now it is time to get clear about what would make your home more comfortable. What changes need to take place to bring you closer to the goal of harmonious home?

Follow your energy now and look for messages in your reactions. Life is showing you where you need to focus, and what needs attention. 

The Cancer Full Moon is about feelings- the messengers of your Soul- make space for the messages to come through and be ready to act. And don't forget to eat well, nourishment is important now- in all senses of the word.

The Full Moon chart has supporting aspects between the fulfilling glow of the sun, fiery active Mars and dreamy Neptune. We may not be clear now about what needs doing but that is not a problem if you take it easy.  

These action oriented planets can move mountains so be open to new ideas and willing to be patient.

Jupiter is trine the Sun this Wednesday.  Luck is in the air. Confidence and understanding hold our hand when things get tricky.  

Chiron will be moving ahead after back tracking since July.  Be aware you might get triggered by this.  Pain can surface but so can the truth and we all know the truth will set us free. Feel your feelings to transform them into your power.

Jupiter also heads forward Saturday. We can see the light. Certainty starts to forma where confusion had a hold.   Venus also moves into Sagittarius this week. We are uplifted and adventurous. Yay.

December 18-24 2023 The Winter Solstice arrives in the Northern Hemisphere, marking the longest night of the year. To be truly in tune with the flow of the first day of winter we need to stand back and take notice. The energy is withdrawn now, the real action is internal.

This day has been celebrated by cultures all over the world, festivals and ceremonies honoring the darkness and calling the light. Astrologers look at the charts of the Solstice to get a feel for what is in store for the upcoming season. Winter is a time withdrawal. The light is diminished and it seems as though everything stops growing. But those seeds are there beneath the surface gathering the energy to burst forth with the increased light of spring.

Use this time to be receptive to promptings from within about what to create for your greater good. Now, as the Sun enters Capricorn, we have an opportunity to get a hold of what is of true and lasting value to us. As the Sun travels through Capricorn we can get in touch with our deep, reflective, enterprising selves.

All the celebrating and obligation that fill this time of year run directly counter to our bodies innate wisdom. We need to be focused within, searching our hearts. Jim Ewing, author and Southern Cherokee Tribe Elder writes about the Winter Solstice:

"Among the Iroquois, it was a time of dreaming. Rather than staying up all night to celebrate the dawn, the People of the Longhouse turned in early, to sleep, to dream. As Mother Night reigned supreme, in dreaming they walked between the worlds of light and darkness, gathering great meaning from what The Great Mystery illuminated for them. At first light, the entire tribe would gather and each tribal member -- men, women, to the smallest child -- would stand and relate what visions they saw on this special night. The dreams would be discussed at length by the entire tribe for each vision's meaning -- for the individual, about the world, for the tribe. Sigmund Freud wasn't the first to explore or discover the importance of nightly dreaming any more than Columbus "discovered" the New World. For, the Iroquois practiced this annual event for 1,000 years before the first European set foot on these shores. French Jesuit missionaries in the 1600s marveled at the Iroquois' annual event, writing about them in letters and journals, especially the aspect of the tribe "acting out" various dreams."

Though we may not have a tribe to share our sleep time visions with, we could make an attempt to watch our dreams tonight. Share what you remember with a loved one, or your journal. Our intention to be receptive and contemplative will bring great insight and plant the seeds of new direction.

Mercury moves back into Sagittarius on Saturday. During the retrograde take time to Reflect. In fact, any 'Re' you can think of would be beneficial in the next few weeks: Redo, re-decorate, re-vise, re-member, re-create, re-alize, replace, remove -you get the point. This Sagittarius energy is seeking the truth to bring along on its quest for freedom and joy.

Be sure to capture you true hearts desire in some form of art to remind you often what you are aiming for. What can come with you into your big bright future and what will you leave behind?
