Intentional Words Yield more Impact10 Jul 202400:18:14
The power of words has become extremely important to my marketing and to the journey of becoming a business owner over the past few years.  I have my minor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication, and in college, I learned a lot about words and how they can yield certain energies, especially in marketing. The more I got into running my own business, the more I found this to be true. I am by no means perfect when it comes to using words, and I still find myself questioning and stumbling in certain areas today. However, I can say that the impact of creating safety with words and making my clients and team feel heard has been a valuable skill, allowing me to build a business that can hopefully make an impact for my team and my clients.  This week, I am looking forward to uncovering the power of words. So tell me, what is your Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Outsourcing Era03 Jul 202400:32:47
When you think about outsourcing or hiring a team, what feelings come up for you? Maybe you have a team already, or you're working to get to a point where a team is necessary. for what you do. Either way, in my own experience hiring and expanding my team. brought up a lot for me. I thought about releasing control, finding the correct words to outsource, sharing more about me and my moments of imperfection, and owning them. It all seemed really scary and a bit far-fetched. Unlock Joy now, before you reach your finacial goals26 Jun 202400:20:43
Recently, I started reading a book called Zero Limits. Shout out to @aoifemindbodycoaching for sharing this book with me!  I was shocked at how much this book caused me to jump into action. I have been using the Ho'oponopono since she shared this tool with me a while back, but I hadn’t read about the power behind this tool since this book. @drjoevitale shares many different stories about this prayer’s power inside his book. This week on The End in Mind, I will be sharing a bit more about what I have learned so far. But let’s start out first by understanding the meaning of this prayer- what is the intention?  Ho'oponopono (Ho Oh Pono Pono), roughly translated as “to make right”, “to correct,” is an ancient transformational and healing technique originating in Hawaii. Its simple message of 100% responsibility, repentance, and gratitude has been changing the lives of all it touches. Pretty powerful right?  Learn more about your ad choices. Energetics and Business19 Jun 202400:26:31
How is energetics playing a role in your business?  Do you ever feel like you are just gaining momentum and all of the sudden, something happens? Your energy is drained and you find yourself back in freeze mode? This is exactly how your energy may be impacting your consistency, your presence with your clients, and even throwing you into a situation where you are negatively driving your clients or potential clients away.  When we say everything is energy - it’s important to note that we are actually creating or utilizing energy in certain ways, which may be intentional or unintentional.  Join me today inside the @wearecocreated June 18th at 2 PM EST for our next Vulnerable Networking Meet up: Vulnerable Networking: Energetics and Conversions, where we ask if your energy repels you from reaching your goals. Mind Coach Guinevere Martin12 Jun 202400:37:01
This week we are chatting with Mind Coach @guineveremartin. We discussed her journey from the solitude of isolation to developing her business. Many would assume that living a Monk’s lifestyle would be more challenging than launching a business; however, Guinevere shares the complete opposite actually on our upcoming podcast episode. She shares that starting a business was one of her biggest mirrors into areas of herself that she was overlooking. As most of us know now, when designing a brand, those areas need to be nurtured in order for us to reach our full potential.  What is one area of your business that you would like to nurture more? Is it a belief? A pattern? A thought loop, maybe?  www.guineveremartin.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Maddison, Life Coach Lawyer05 Jun 202400:28:14
This week, we are chatting with @life.coach.lawyer, owner of the @sunshinelawfirm and the @maddhippie11 brand!  Maddison and I met through the @badass_womeninbusiness group. From the second I met her, I knew I had to get to know her more! We hit it off immediately, and we decided to do a podcast interview together. Ironically, weeks leading up to our interview, Maddison’s Reel about Non-Compete Agreements went viral, getting over 1 Million views.  If you’re an esthetician, as I know many of you are, you are probably pretty aware of what a non-compete agreement is. Well, the news about this is shocking, and could totally change the game of esthetics. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Justine H Chartier29 May 202400:37:14
This week we are chatting all things energy with @justinechartier_! Sometimes we don't realize how much we are holding on to, and most of the time these are the things holding us back from becoming the people we want to be!  Justine is a nurse who has spent most of her life caring for others, and as she continued her work, she saw how much energetics could be playing into people's sickness or misaligned feelings. What if our thoughts sometimes aren't even our own? What if they’re inherited? What if some of these feelings weren’t from our lifetime but our ancestors’? About This Week's Guest: Justine started her battle with migraines around the age of 15 and struggled with them for over 18 years. When pregnant with her first child at the age of 19 she pursued a career in nursing. When her second daughter was 18 months old she was diagnosed with a rare disease - Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic arthritis. After 2 years of lots of doctor visits, tests and medications, she has been in remission and doing well.  However Justine's migraines and symptoms kept getting worse to the point of having attacks 2-3x/week along with visual changes, dizziness, heart palpitations, panic attacks and depression. She was introduced to the concept of trapped energy and trapped emotions from my friend and it just opened up this whole new way of looking at the world, her body, her connections to people and the way I can heal and help myself. She was finally able to break free from my migraine symptoms, speak the truths she could never before to those close to her and maintain her boundaries. She has become a huge advocate for patient safety in the hospitals and want to bring a change to the health care system. Hanna Bier Coaching22 May 202400:47:12
Money is a topic most of us are focused on all of the time. I remember when I first started Meraki; money and the thought of it was all consuming. How could I make more of it? Was it possible to create an income I could rely on to fund my life? What about a better lifestyle? Was money hard to make? It felt like it back then, and that only made my thoughts and obsession worse.  Most information on money I see comes from social media. I see a lot of people posting fast cash methods and quick wins for money, because, let’s be honest, that’s what most of us want nowadays - a quick win right?  But when you actually think about your lifestyle and money, it’s really what lies beneath this. What does money provide you with that you’re desiring or feeling like you’re lacking right now? Security? Freedom? Safety?  On this week’s podcast, we are talking all things money bliss with @hannamoneybliss. You won’t want to miss it! Tell us what you think money would provide you with that maybe you’ve not acknowledged before?  Money Coach Hanna Bier works with ambitious women from around the world to recreate their relationship with money from the inside out and step into a world of financial overflow. Known as the founder of Money Bliss and author of her new book, Wealth From Within, Hanna has led tens of thousands of private and group sessions and has helped hundreds upon hundreds of clients join her in living blissfully and abundantly. She spent seven years trying to answer the question: Is it possible to create wealth without compromising our health, wellness and/or happiness. Can we actually create abundant lives while living a life of joy? Happily, the answer is a resounding YES. And this is the work she now does with clients. Hanna's clairvoyant abilities allow her to quickly discover the deepest money blocks in people's energy systems. Once these blocks are released through her proprietary methodology, abundance opens up in an entirely new, magical (and sometimes awe inspiring) way. Hanna’s clients soar… rising to new levels of success... seemingly overnight... and become the radiant leaders their communities deserve, while enjoying a new sense of overflow, lightness, ease, fulfillment and joy in every aspect of their lives. (Because abundance IS.) When she’s not performing her variety of magic, Hanna enjoys the balance of motherhood, living throughout Europe and spending time with her young daughter. Outreach the piece that is missing in your business and why08 May 202400:20:39
When I first started doing cold outreach, I was working with a non-profit group through a school program, launching a Touch a Truck event near JMU in the Shenandoah Valley. Many people don't know this, but in that location, there are a lot of refugee and immigrant families relocated because there tends to be many work opportunities. For this reason, it is important to share with the refugee and immigrant youth how they can work and find paying jobs. I was given the opportunity to be the community organizer for this event. My job was to source the trucks and professionals to attend the event. It was a lot of cold calling, as this was the first event of this scale that the community had run yet. I started quickly after the project was launched, which was a month or two out from the event. I began with Google, gathering my list, and honestly just began calling, to let the people know the dates and, of course, find out if they would be willing to show up and share about their jobs with their work trucks.  For the weeks following, I decided to follow up every other week, to again make sure the commitments were solid. The thought of having tons of kids there without people to share information with them, terrified me. A few times people stopped calling me back, maybe even got upset with me on the phone, but I just kept going. It was for the kids right?  Flash forward to the event. My professor was shocked at how great it turned out. Our marketing team had blasted the event all over town, and there were so many kids and people there. It was a success, and I was really happy. Then I knew, maybe this was something I should be doing more of. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Dr Julie and advocating for health! 24 Apr 202400:30:18
Do you have health struggles? There was a time in my life that I was scared to go to my doctor to hear that I needed medication daily to help. I wanted to be an advocate for myself to find the root cause and not just accept taking medication for the rest of my life. After talking with Dr. Julie, I am so inspired that she has come out on the other side of her health struggles and is now helping women get to the root cause of their health issues and allow healing and prevention. Having her on your side, to provide guidance and support is invaluable. I have been so inspired by @dr.julielynn’s story which she’ll be sharing this week during the latest episode of ‘The End in Mind.’ She became her biggest health advocate and is now living chronic pain-free. And the best part? She now provides an incredible service that creates a safe space for women who are looking to get back in touch with their bodies and prevent chronic pain and issues. Building your business internationally17 Apr 202400:23:23
When building your business online, have you thought about or been open to working with others overseas?  A few years back, I was direct messaging with one of my dear friends now, @kristinartodorova. She and I were talking about ways to work together as well as ways to expand and promote one another. And I left the call feeling so excited! I felt like I had broken into a new market in England and this would be the start of a relationship that would continue to expand into the future.  Little did I know, fast forward a few months, Kristina would be founding the @wearecocreated Hub. We would be connecting many other business owners from around the world, and I would have the pleasure of co-founding this community with her.  When some people get into business they think they will make money fast, have quick wins, and they’re ready to walk away when a few relationships don't end up working out how they had hoped. I have learned many things from my friendship with Kristina, and one of them was to allow space and time for ideas to flow, and growth will come naturally; collaboration will flow smoothly when the time is right.  Learn more about your ad choices. Claire Uncapher10 Apr 202400:46:19
A few weeks ago, I met this amazing woman, @claire.uncapher, and she and I hit it off pretty quickly. What I loved about her approach to what she does is she’s all about the root cause, which I really resonate with.  For most people that know me personally, you all know I am an open book. I believe vulnerability can lead us to discovering root causes, which is why it is such a big part of what I do when it comes to my own marketing.  Claire offered to share more about her Body Speak Process, and I was immediately intrigued. When we are able to connect with where emotions may be tense in our bodies, I have found that this is an easier way to move through those emotions with minimal suffering.  And on this week’s End in Mind episode, you will get to hear what I was able to uncover and work through with Claire live time. Navigating Lulls in your business 03 Apr 202400:31:13
What would it feel like to stop questioning your business? To just take a step back and accept, “this is what I am at right now. This is okay, this is good in fact.” When I have a moment of lull I am able to…. Spend more time working on myself, think about new offers, connect and reconnect with people I love and that support me.  This level of trust in your business may be what is necessary to actually close the deals of your dreams. Maybe this lull is happening because you need to have more space so showing up for yourself  and your next client feels spacious, and they want to hire you for 10K a month, taking up most of your time anyhow? We host monthly meetings within the Hub, and tomorrow we will be hosting Vulnerable Networking, Capacity Conversations at 1 PM EST. Message me for the link if you’re interested!  Haille and I discuss on this week’s podcast what it is like to be a mom with twins, starting her company in a pandemic and fully going all in on her true calling: brand design. Unlock your emotional capacity to exponentially expand your income 20 Mar 202400:35:26
When you think about capacity, what first comes to mind? Time, possibly. But what about our capacity to hold clients emotionally? Mentally? How can we start to think about this as we expand our brands?  When I first started my business, I was focused on creating more time, which was looking at efficiency, systems etc. However, once I had most of that set up, I still wasn’t able to remember things or even feel like I had the space to onboard more clients, keeping me at my income ceiling.  I was very frustrated by this at the time. Now, I know that if I am not creating emotional capacity, I won’t be able to expand. It makes sense if you think about it when it comes to the spillover effect, right?  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
How Marketing Has Changed with Boryana13 Mar 202400:31:41
How has marketing changed in the past few years? Well, drastically. A few weeks ago, I was chatting with a colleague of mine about marketing. She was receiving a lot of unsolicited advice from her mentors, and it started to make her question her vulnerability when it came to building her business online. She was stuck wondering, should I change what I am saying? Should I be less vulnerable? Should I switch how I write captions?  My answer - never change for anyone ever. You are uniquely yourself, and that is what makes you so great. In the marketing world today, there is a wide range of what people think is ‘acceptable’ online, and maybe even ways that they have marketed themselves, that have worked well in the past. But here’s the deal - You aren’t them. You are YOU! People want to hear your perspective, your values, your stories to decipher, is this someone I trust to work with? Is this a valuable place to be spending my money and time? Is this someone that I want to pour energy into because I believe the ripple effect they are having?  This week we are chatting with University Professor and Marketing Consultant, @bjj.yogamomlife, Boryana. She shares more information about how she's seen the market shift and what she looks for when it comes to investing with companies.  So tell us, have you changed how you think about purchasing in the past few years? The Sophie Jones!28 Feb 202400:27:30
This week, we are chatting with @the_sophie.jones! Sophie and I met here on IG, and we hit it off immediately. Sophie helps high achievers to cultivate success from within. She has built several very successful businesses and she truly knows what it takes to create a lifestyle that aligns with your zone of genius to build wealth. Did you have a learning disability hold you back when you were younger? Or change the way you thought about yourself?  @the_sophie.jones and I started on this topic on our first call together. We realized we both had similar experiences when it came to experiencing our learning disabilities. After being moved to a different room while in school, I felt like learning wasn’t really the focus but I still had to push through the day to be seen as “smart.” But really what we had discovered while connecting was that pieces of our experience and our diagnosis actually helped us because we were able to push through all of the criticism.  What most people don't know about learning disabilities, unless they have one, is that you are told over and over again the way you are perceiving something - math, reading, spelling, etc. - is wrong to modern society. That there is a right from wrong and we simply did most of it “wrong” and we didn't fit.  But what this did was actually help us. Me, as a highly sensitive person, it was really hard to hear this over and over again as a child. Then I realized, ‘okay well I’ll just ask for help. I will use my tools and people around me to change the narrative.’ And that's what I did - it created resilience for me. Now when I am told no, it stings less because I was told no a lot growing up. Which differently gave me a leg up into understanding that maybe what I was experiencing wasn't wrong, it was just different. And if over time I could articulate it better, maybe the way I saw the world would eventually start to become more right or true. And that is exactly what happened.  Learn more about your ad choices. Hustle or Anti-Hustle with Kara Renninger21 Feb 202400:22:59
When scaling your business have you ever wondered what it really takes?  I believe scaling needs to start happening early on in business. Some people would say you don’t need to learn about scaling until you’ve hit capacity as a solopreneur.  I would say that scaling really starts when you begin managing multiple clients simultaneously. This is about creating capacity for yourself so that when you’re serving even just one or two clients at the start, you will actually be able to present and serve to the best of your ability.  This week we are interviewing the scaling expert @kara.renninger_. She is a Growth & Scaling Advisor 👉🏼 She helps Strategize With Driven Solopreneurs & B2B Firms So They Can Scale to Multi-7-Figures WITHOUT Spending More Time Working! Does everyone want that? The Meraki Niche 14 Feb 202400:23:46
Ever wondered why Meraki posts about skincare brands?  Well, this week we are diving into exactly why we love our skincare products and services, where this niche began to develop and why Meraki is never stingy when it comes to promoting other businesses.  I used to hear all the time, ‘Don’t share people in your stories without having an agreement to promote one another,’ as if it were a badge of honor to be highlighting another business on our pages. Living in fear of promoting one another because what if someone decided to buy from them instead of me?  I don’t believe that sharing other people and businesses in our stories is a bad idea. Instead, I like to think about it like this…  Aren't I working with these people because I believe in their brand?  Aren't I developing content and promoting them through their own platforms anyhow?  As I promote, aren't I helping expand their businesses as well as my own?  That feels abundant to me, whereas the first mindset always felt like scarcity - what do you think?  Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 150 - A Meraki Recap07 Feb 202400:30:29
Sometimes sharing or reflecting on where we started is the only way to understand how far we have come.  When I started Meraki I barely knew what building a business would take. I thought that if I can see a better way of living, shouldn't I give it a go? Why not?  Little did I understand what a journey this would be, and how much I would need to change in order to have the lifestyle I desired.  Sitting in my moms basement, over thinking, scrambling from call to call, little organization its hard to believe that I found anyone to work with me looking back. I appreciate every single person I came into contact with at that time because each one helped me see areas of improvement for myself, and each one also became the driving force at first, for me to learn about these areas.  Its interesting to say it this bluntly, but the first start towards my healing journey was an easy one because I wasn't doing it for me - I was doing it for them. Online Business vs A Brick and Mortar Store with Heather Spadaro (The Owner of @themakeuphairco)31 Jan 202400:39:43
Join me this week for an interview with the Owner of the @themakeuphairco, Heather. Heather shares her story of shifting her business in 2020 to work better for her lifestyle, she also shares her inside scoop on how to create a skincare regime that supports your makeup routine. Since many of my clients are in the beauty industry, I love getting opinions of others when it comes to controversial topics. Such as, botox, fillers, caking on make up, etc.  @themakeuphairco, owner Heather shares her honest opinion all of these topics, in tomorrow episode. I find this is really important for Meraki to touch on as social media managers. We are constantly seeing clients comparing themselves, wanting to change their bodies or faces to fit in with the status quo - I don’t believe that aging is bad - therefore I believe everyone should embody their age, never needing to change how they look, in order to get better clients. Especially something that could have an impact on your body for YEARS to come.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Reiki, connection and nervous system regulation 24 Jan 202400:25:37
After getting Reiki two certified, I felt a deeper connection with myself. And by adding this to my tool box it only elevated the connection I feel to others as well.  My coach, @aoifemindbody, mentioned Reiki to me a few years back, but I always felt like ugh, another certification. How could I add one more thing to my plate? She said to let it happen naturally and when it doesn't feel like work, that will be the right time.  And she was so right. I met Mal through a client of mine, @tuthilllisa. Lisa mentioned she was getting Reiki certified and thought that I would enjoy connecting with Mal as well.  Mal and I hit it off; we decided it was the perfect time for me to start and the way we were working together felt more aligned than ever. It was perfect alignment and I had the capacity to go through the training. I was so excited.  I remember knowing that this was what it felt like to not push something into happening: waiting, having, practicing receiving and allowing what I had been asking for to find me naturally. I am so grateful. I can’t wait to share more about Reiki with you all in 2024!  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
What if we reframed the way we looked at Marketing in 2024? 17 Jan 202400:24:05
Once I realized in college that marketing didn’t have to come from a nasty place. That marketing could actually be changing, the way people purchase is changing so wouldn't the marketing?   In college we took persuasion classes, learned about Cult marketing, how people think, why they are primed to purchase or fall into something vs. another. It was very interesting, but I always wondered how social media would impact this type of marketing.  Don’t get me wrong, there are still many marketers that use social media in a way I am not aligned with.  But I do believe that there is a way to market yourself without feeling nasty or out of alignment while you do so - even more, your business will depend on making that shift, or it wont survive in today society.  Marketing to me is about sharing my knowledge with others so they can discern if we think similarly or not, and if they would like to opt into our content conversations, services etc. Its not about pushing, persuading, or manipulating. Its about sharing, connecting, and creating for one another.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
What is the consumer looking for in 2024? 10 Jan 202400:23:16
This year people are really wanting to purchase from a place of knowing that their investment is going to pay off. The purchaser is looking for, authenticity, real answers, results driven content, reasonable expectations, etc.  What we have seen over the past few years especially in the coaching industry is that so many people have been burned, by the wrong coach, over promising and failing on delivery. This has had a huge impact on the industry and honestly the client, rightfully so isnt wanting to fall into another trap, speaking from experience here.  So how do you want to show up online to build actual trust? So many of us fear sharing our opinions online because we feel like people wont agree, or there will be backlash. Or is it because we aren’t sure of our own beliefs yet? How are you story telling in 2024? 03 Jan 202400:20:56
Happy New Year!! Today I am using this journal prompt instead of constantly looking into the future on a day like today - I am taking time to reflect on how far I have come this year instead.  What have I accomplished this year that I did not expect? What was fun in 2023? How can I create more fun and love in my life and business? What was my word for 2023? Did I embody it? What were my wins for 2023? What did I do that I thought was never going to be possible?  As we hold space this season for our New Year planning, I believe it is also important to look at what you have already done. Because that truly keeps us driven to creating, developing, growing more into 2024, right? What are your favorite ways to bring in the New Year?  Learn more about your ad choices. I am going into 2024 bursting with so much love, I am so lucky to have each of you and this life that I live. Thank you all so much for believing in me and joining me on this journey! Marketing and Pinterest with Cecilia Amato 20 Dec 202300:41:07
What is your favorite social media platform?  Pinterest, Linkedin, Instagram (maybe because you’re here lol), Youtube, Facebook?  I always say, start working with the platform you like the most! Use your experience to help you forecast what is coming from that application and apply your knowledge to it. In time you can crosspost to other platforms, and maybe hire someone to support you! But first, start with what you like because it's highly likely if you start with yourself, then naturally you will draw in the clients you desire to work with.  Learn more about your ad choices. More isnt always better13 Dec 202300:24:38
Social media can feel really loud this time of year. I have found myself needing more time away from social media, just because this noise can at times really drain me.  So what do we do when it's our busy season and we feel like we “have” to show up, but just don't have the capacity? When building your business it's important to check in with yourself and take breaks, even as a social media manager, from the loudness of the online space. If we don’t work on who we are, how will we be able to impact our clients in a beneficial way?  Some people combat this by wanting to create products vs having a service based business. But truthfully even as a product business owner your energy directly impacts your success. And I have found that if I am not listening to what my body needs, my business will also have a step back because maybe I push too hard and then I get sick.  Think about it like this -  if you are not able to take a break now, when would you be able to? If you have told yourself that hustling to the top is the only way to make it, when does the hustle end? And if it does end, what will you do with your time after?  Many people don’t realize that success is not linear, and if we don't find security in trusting ourselves now as business owners, we will have a very difficult time building something sustainable.  What do you think? The Art of Therapy with Jade06 Dec 202300:45:17
This week we are chatting with Jade @yourpiece.art! Jade is an art therapist - she focuses on emotional healing, somatics, & nervous system rewiring. She works with the deep feelers, creatives and - in our case - Highly Sensitives as well!  When you think about art therapy, would you also connect this with nervous system rewiring? This is a topic I have become infatuated with recently. Understanding what helps our nervous system regulate can be the shift that most people, especially business owners, may be missing in their lives.  Jade shares with us on her page that trauma can hold us back from being our authentic selves. Because in the past maybe we weren't accepted, or people didn’t understand us, then when we think about marketing ourselves online the fear of this pattern occurring again can feel unbearable.  Do you experience fear or worry when thinking about showing up online? You won't want to miss this conversation!  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Intuition and Content Marketing 29 Nov 202300:27:26
You don’t have to post something just because you just thought of it - now if you feel called to, follow your gut, but if you are skeptical about constantly posting from your intuition, maybe because you’re unable to get consistency - listen up!  When you get an intuitive download, what if you hung on to it? Just for a little while, let yourself immerse in the thought. When I have done this my mind is able to expand on the topic - leaving me with better examples, or more in depth stories where I have seen this topic applied to my life. Giving the intuitive thought time to grow, allowed my intuition to skyrocket my business.  There is this sense of watering the intuitive thought over time - sitting with it, letting it naturally grow - so by the time I was ready to put that thought into motion, I had seen the puzzle pieces align, and now the topic becomes much more powerful than me just throwing a post together and hoping for the best.  So tell me, do you plan your marketing intuitively? Does this idea of sitting with the thought worry you? If so, why?  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Using Intuition in Your Business with Cassandra22 Nov 202300:38:37
Have you ever wondered how to use your intuition when it comes to designing your business?  This week we’re chatting with @wild_dreams_co owner Cass! Cass is an intuitive designer, she helps her clients unleash their iconic frequency & elevate their brand universe, offers intuitive, innovative, intentional coaching; and helps strategize and design websites.  What I loved about Cass the first time I met her was how heavily she relies on her intuition to guide her business, much like myself, which isn't something I see a lot in our space. Especially when it comes to marketing - more to come on that later this week.  So to jump start our conversation - do you use your intuition in your business? If so, how? Miranda Priestly of it all: Urgency a product of success? 15 Nov 202300:21:12
Once I started to move out of urgency I was able to move into the way I actually wanted to be showing up in the world. Prior I was jumping from task to task, pushing, rushing, squeezing in as much as I possibly could - which left me burnt out, hurt and irritable.  The best example I can think of for this is Miranda Priestly. BTW this is like my favorite movie of all time so please don't come for me LOL, but Miranda is the perfect example of how urgency can have an inverted affect on people. Yes she's a powerhouse, totally her level of success was derived out of who she was - but was the urgency truly serving her highest good? I'm skeptical.  At one point she talks with Andy about how she is getting divorced once again, starting from scratch, not able to be present with her kids, and constantly running from one meeting to the next. Was this what I thought success was? Of course! I spent most of my life putting these types of people on pedestals, thinking that was the only way I would be successful.  Looking back on when I first started my business I embodied these thoughts - they ended up manifesting into my reality and I was left exhausted, not present and detached from my body, my business and my family. It wasn't going to work long term, and I knew it. So what was my other option? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Using routine and workouts with Stacia Root08 Nov 202300:30:18
To build routine you have to start with being brutally honest with yourself, with week we’re speaking with @stacia.root a group fitness instructor, we dive into routines, why aren’t we able to find time to take care of ourselves?  Stacia shares with us, her journey began by looking at her own habits. Was she keeping a promise to herself when she planning her day the day prior was she following through on those promises?  Do you ever plan to do something, maybe its in your personal or business life and not follow through? For me this tends to be working out, until I started making the time to actually prioritize this connection with myself, I felt like there literally weren’t enough hours in the day to work - let alone work out?  I am so curious, what about you all? Where do you find this in your lives?  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
You Can’t be 100% authentic without being Vulnerable 01 Nov 202300:26:37

These aren’t words you normally see in the same sentence right? Vulnerability and Business. But we believe that the two need to marry inorder to show up in full Authenticity.  If we aren’t vulnerable we probably aren’t being truthful. In my experience Vulnerability has allowed me to make some of the most meaningful business connections.
