In this episode, Steph and Toni are joined by Lenna to explore why so many people are being drawn towards witchcraft, plant medicine, embodiment and alternative ways of healing and why awakening is rarely the gentle, blissful experience it’s often portrayed as.

This is an honest wide-ranging conversation about collective and personal trauma, nervous system regulation, healing culture and the dangers of quick-fix spirituality. Lenna shares her journey into witchcraft, her experience of plant medicine and the long process of integration that followed, alongside a grounded discussion on trauma-informed practice, embodiment and learning to listen to the body.

We talk about nature as teacher, the role of ritual and seasonality, the impact of collective events on awakening and why healing is not about bypassing discomfort but learning to move slowly, safely and with self-responsibility.
