515. Embodied Spirituality : Jeff Brown21 Jun 202300:42:12

Jeff Brown talks about the practice and application of being grounded and truly embodying our spirituality.

To join our courses and our community go to www.embodimentunlimited.com

Find Mark Walsh on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/warkmalsh/

About Jeff Brown

Jeff’s innovative new terms and short writings continue to be a growing phenomenon, widely shared by seekers and growers worldwide. His quotes have been shared in social media by Brain Games co-host Jason Silva, actress Chrissy Metz, songstresses Alanis Morissette and Fergie, and many other well-known figures. Most beautifully, they have touched and benefitted millions of souls.

Jeff now understands that each step on his path laid down the foundation of a new model: Grounded Spirituality. The challenges he faced, and the countless steps of overcoming were intended for this purpose: to support humanity in their efforts to embody all that they are. Not to bypass their humanness, but to celebrate it. Not to find enlightenment independent of the self, but to find enrealment deep within it. Here we are, just as we are.

He has spent the past several years, further forging and articulating his realizations, honing his voice, and shaping this new model. After an intensive and laborious process, buried in his writing cave outside Toronto, Jeff brought forth his most comprehensive work to date. Published in March 2019, the book Grounded Spirituality calls out and critically reviews ungrounded spiritualities, and presents a new model of authentic humanness, offering us a more integrated, embodied, and heartfelt path going forward. In November 2020, Jeff’s 4th book of popular quotes, Hearticulations, was published. Endorsed by Grammy Award-Winning singer LeAnn Rimes, Hearticulations reminds us of the golden threads that bind us together and that there is more that connects us than divides us.

Jeff is presently breaking new ground as an Enrealment Activist, with lots of exciting plans in the works including: a facilitators’ training course for Grounded Spirituality; a soon-to-be-launched podcast and video interface; a plethora of new courses at Soulshaping Institute; co-creating benevolent movements; traveling the world teaching and connecting with his supporters…. and whatever other unexpected surprises await this wildly rich path of Sacred Purpose. Stay tuned!

Mark on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/warkmalsh/

"In a decadent society people die from comfort, fail from ease, and hate life because of luxury.

We have an excess of food so die of heart attacks and the like. This is established. The easiest products to buy are high sugar, high processed fats, alcohol etc. We are surrounded by dopamine mouth crack, and then told we need willpower to diet.

The deep satisfactions of life are also only found the other side of HARD too. Finding purpose is uncomfortable until it’s a joy. Long-term relationships are sometimes uncomfortable as well as a joy. Deep spiritual practice is uncomfortable as well as a joy. Growth is hard. People are hard. Life is hard FFS!"

496. Apocalyptic AI : Mark Walsh21 Apr 202300:31:25

Will AI take your job? Mark gives a thoughtful cultural commentary on AI's impact on embodiment and its community. Why pay a therapist or coach when you can ask AI, right? As homo sapiens our communities and ecosystems respond to touch, nature, presence, group regulation and harmonisation. What has the introduction of trans-humanism or at least human impersonation and the post-human era done to our embodiment and what does the future hold? Mark talks about how he makes human connection and in-person events a consistent part of the Embodiment Unlimited community to ensure the experience can never be reinterpreted by this new Artificial Intelligent dawn.

494. Anatomy and Touch Myths : Julian Baker19 Apr 202300:56:29

Manual therapist Julian joins Mark to talk Bowen Technique, fascia, what massage actually is, why touch matters, anatomy and religion, what stretching does, core stability, foam roller, “release”, bouldering, and we he doesn’t bone in exercise. A iconoclastic one.

About Julian

A former chef from leaving school, Julian Baker has led the most bizarre of lives, ranging from cooking for the Royal Family to running jelly wresting events in the Australian outback and performing stand up comedy in pubs.  These days he has turned his attention to disrupting the field of anatomy, challenging the foundations of medicine and the way that undergraduates are taught about the body, believing that "Anatomy is incomplete at best and dangerously wrong at worst." On the other side of the coin, he has been involved in the field of complementary therapy for thirty years and has equal disdain for some of the ideas espoused by the therapy world.  "You can't release fascia, it's not a box of doves" being a favourite.  He believes that somewhere in the middle, between scientific/medical arrogance and the anti-vaccination movement, lies a beautiful truth that will heal the world.
