Topps is coming for that money bag, and Bobby is here to talk about it.  Bobby talks Chrome Update, Stadium Club, AG, Topps Now Money Grabs, and hits the Mailbag!  The Mets are now yellow and blue.  RIP Orange.

Juan Soto is in the World Series!!  Topps Update has dropped and Bobby Banger Box is at it again with a big redemption hit.  Cosmic Chrome, Mailbag, and More!

Welcome back! This week TJ goes over Cosmic Chrome in true Curmudgeon fashion, and hits a loaded mailbag. Shout out to Metsy for mixing and mastering the episode!! Check out Yellow Brick Card Club on IG for a solid break experience!

In yet another episode of "Does TJ actually like anything?" I tackle Topps 5 Star, Bowman Chrome and what would I do with a $10,000 non-Yadi budget?
Tons of great mailbag questions from the usual degenerates and somehow even more bashing of Topps/Fanatics. Will I ever run out of things to hate? unlikely. Enjoy the show!!

Welcome back to the Eephus pod! This week we have a HUGE surprise guest, probably our biggest one yet!!! We break down selling on COMC, expanding our collections into some rare 90's refractors and a sizeable mailbag full of degeneracy and the usual sarcasm. Its going to be a good one!!!

Welcome back! This episode TJ breaks down some recent and upcoming Topps releases including Bowman Chrome, Cactus Jack and a bunch of other stuff you probably don't need to buy. Shoutout to Metsy on the boards for mixing and mastering the episode. Thanks for listening!

We welcome discord legend Mirabeau from North of the border to talk the struggles of the Canadian collector. We do a quick preview of some recent and upcoming Topps new releases: Museum, Pristine, Pro Debut and some crappy art cards. Spolier Alert: I hate most of it. Then we tackle a mailbag full of snark and sarcasm. Should be a good time! Shout out to Metsy for mixing and mastering the epsidoe and bringing back the theme music! Thanks for listening

Late Episodes? No theme Music? Potentially horrifically mixed audio? YES! We are officially in the TJ era of the pod!! Listen in as I demonstrate my ineptitude and overall lack of technical knowledge! Cbenz is my special guest today- talking about getting kids into the hobby. We tackle a large mailbag full of wild questions that I attempt to answer. I try to keep the Chrome bashing to a minimum, but as is my general custom, I hate most things!
lets do it!!!!

Throughout history, mankind has been witness to an endless number of historic transitions...Caesar to Octavian, Dimaggio to Mantle, Yadier Molina to Willson Contreras...but NONE as monumental as Robert F. Baseball handing the reigns of the Eephus Podcast to TJ the Yadi Guy. Join him for the sounds, sights and smells in the next generation of The Eephus Baseball Card Podcast. Oh and he talks about baseball cards for what it's worth!

But you're in good hands with TJ.  Thank you to all who have listened.  I will be back as a guest once I get a much needed recharge.

Tjay is back and we're also joined by Rob and Alex to talk about 2024 Topps Series 2, Junior Caminero, and more!

Rob aka MostModern from the Discord joins me to talk about his collecting story and his experience with 2023 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary.  We talk about his Acuna collection and thought about an insane potential World Series matchup.

The guys discuss how many hot dog parallels they can fit into their PC's at one time.

If you don't wanna hear the dudes talk about budgeting and getting stuck in the perpetual cycle of consuming cards and spending tons of money, this might be the episode to skip.  But alas, we tackle the hard topic and caveat that budgeting your card spending is highly individualized to you and it's all relative.  We encourage you to give it a list, there's plenty of other good stuff too!  A special guest that is a familiar voice arrives midway through the episode to give his take.

Bobby and Tjay tackle every MLB team and build a new 30 card collection from scratch consisting of one card from a player on every team.  Tjay curses countless players just like he did to Oneil Cruz last year, and we hit the Shohei drama.  Tune in now for our World Series picks just in time for the real Opening Day!

Oh no, PSA has acquired their biggest competitor.... what do we think about it?  Why do we grade?  And Tjay comes back from his paternity leave to provide his thoughts on Topps Series 1.  The most iconic Topps Triple Threads card ever made, and more!

Philly makes his second appearance on the Eephus to discuss Topps Series 1 and the Hall of Fame.  Strangely, some of the topics are Andrew McCutchen, Bob Nutting (Bobby hates him, count how many times he says it), Mike Tomlin, AJ Burnett, and more!  It wasn't getting the "E" stamp until Pirates ownership came up.

Bobby and Tjay pick up where they left off and talk about what they did all offseason.  Lots of talk about their collecting goals for 2024, and of course, a Series 1 Preview.

Spoiler Alert: Bobby Witt Jr will not be the Yankees shortstop in 3 Years.

The guys talk about TJ's experience with 2023 Bowman Chrome so far, Planetary Pursuit of Uranus Controversy, and the dry and boring 2023 Topps Update Checklist.  We answer a couple of mailbag questions from Philly, including how we would spend $5k on one card if given the chance.  As always, we have fun and hit tons of other topics like the failed release of Topps Logofractor, some cool product releases for buying singles like Panini Immaculate and Leaf Trinity, and what we think of Topps Sapphire and it's enormous 660 card checklist.

https://linktr.ee/eephusbaseballpod

Bobby and Tjay throw it back and re-visit where things stand on Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr, and the rest of the 2022 Rookie Class.  Are these guys that we were chasing all still relevant?  What cards stood the test of a years time?  We try to keep this National Treasure of a Podcast clean... thankfully, we are unlicensed by anyone so there are no consequences for failing.

Bobby and TJ discuss how their collections are evolving and their future goals.  We shoot the bull for a full hour of mailbag questions from the Discord with no real agenda, and it's a ton of fun.  Meanwhile in the background, Fanatics attacks breakers and local card shops with a hatchet.  What does their crackdown on breaking mean?  (Oh no, they just put down a hatchet and fired up a chainsaw).  This was our personal favorite episode to record so far - enjoy!
