The discovery of the crews of the MSMC Pandora and the RM Van Winkle changed everything.

Humanity is at war, and they are losing. Deimos and their NHPs are closing in on Union space, and, in an act of desperation, the pan-human governmental body has reached out to five of the greatest that humanity has to offer--who happen to not only be Lancers, but soldiers, mercenaries, linguists, scientists, and diplomats. They are spirited away to a long-forgotten world, home to the deepest, darkest pits of humanity's legacy amongst the stars. The clock is ticking, and our crew must not only reckon with the planet of Hercynia, and its people.
