I'm struggling with my faith28 May 202600:13:50

This is a hard one to post. For ten years, I had something I could only call God. I found it outside the church, in places that surprised me, through experiences that changed me. For the last year and a half, I've been searching for it again. I made this video because I didn't want to keep pretending I have it figured out.

If you're somewhere in the in-between too, maybe this is for you.

The Soul Scavenger Hunt is a free experience I made to help you find what's real in yourself: https://create.adamroa.com/soul-scavenger-hunt

The Unsexy Conversation For Deeper Intimacy21 May 202600:29:23

In this episode I share a framework I've used for years to establish safe containers for intimacy. It sounds unsexy, but it has led to some of the most pleasurable experiences of my life.

If you want to go deeper into what you actually desire before your next conversation like this, this is where I'd start:

4 Pillars of Safety A Woman Provides In Relationship14 May 202600:31:25

This is the follow-up to my podcast on what a man provides. Because a woman provides four pillars of safety too. Physical. Mental. Emotional. Spiritual. They just look different. And most people are too afraid, too politicized, or too unaware to say what they actually are.

If you love a man and want to understand what he's actually carrying, this one is for you. If you are a man who has never been able to name what you needed, maybe this helps.

If this opens something in you, the Soul Scavenger Hunt was built for exactly this. It's free. https://create.adamroa.com/soul-scavenger-hunt

What's a man's role in modern relationship?07 May 202600:24:51

Something changed in this relationship that hadn't changed in any of the ones before it. Being the man finally felt natural. And it made me ask a question I hadn't been willing to sit with: what am I actually here to provide? This podcast is my answer. Not a position on gender roles. Not a defense of any label or movement. This is an explanation of what I've found to be the 4 key pillars I can provide to my partner in order to create a healthy relationship.

If this lands and you want to start with yourself, the Soul Scavenger Hunt is exactly that kind of inner work. https://create.adamroa.com/soul-scavenger-hunt

I spent 5 Days In Complete Darkness05 May 202600:25:48

I spent 5 days in complete darkness over New Year's. No light, minimal sound, no phone. I went in hoping for a psychedelic experience or, at minimum, the deepest rest of my life. What I found instead was just myself, and a voice I'd been carrying for years that I'd never really heard clearly before.

This one stayed with me. I think it might stay with you too.

If you're craving that kind of honest inward look, the Soul Scavenger Hunt was made for it. It's free and it'll take you somewhere real: https://create.adamroa.com/soul-scavenger-hunt

Am I Still An Artist If I Use AI?01 May 202600:26:22

For the last two months I've been making music with AI, and I didn't tell anyone.

I wasn't sure if I was still an artist, or if I was cheating somehow. I've spent years as a poet and writer. I know what it takes to develop a craft. And I know how painful it is to watch something you've spent decades building get compressed into a single click.

So I sat with it. I tested it. I sent songs to my closest friends and asked them to tell me the truth. And what came back taught me something about creativity I didn't expect.

This is the full conversation I've been having with myself. At the end of the episode I share the first song.

Wish It Was You is out now on all streaming platforms.

Monogamy & Commitment Are Not The Same Thing27 Apr 202600:23:38

Most of the arguments people have about monogamy are actually arguments about something else entirely.

Monogamy is a value. Something you choose and practice inside a relationship, the way you'd choose honesty or accountability. Commitment to a person is different. It's about building a life together, showing up through the hard parts, choosing each other over time.

These two things have been bundled together for so long that most people have never stopped to examine whether they're actually the same.

In this episode I'm making that distinction clearly, looking at why the conflation happens on both sides of the conversation, and asking a question I think is more useful than the one most people are arguing about.

This isn't an argument for or against any particular relationship structure. It's an argument for actually knowing what you're choosing and why.

How Do We Fix The Manosphere23 Apr 202600:24:02

This is part three of my Inside the Manosphere series, and it was the hardest one to make. Not because the ideas are difficult. But because I knew going in that nuanced content doesn't travel as far as outrage.

I'm making it anyway.

In this episode I talk about what the manosphere actually gets right, where it goes wrong, why the algorithm is making all of this worse, and what I think we actually need to do differently, including what you do with a conversation like this one after you hear it.

If you haven't listened to parts one and two yet, start there. They're the two episodes just before this one in the feed.

Men Without Power Have No Value20 Apr 202600:30:45

This is the episode I wasn't sure I was going to make.

Not because the ideas are controversial. But because saying them honestly, in public, means being willing to sit with the response.

This is part two of my series on the manosphere, and it goes somewhere personal. I talk about power, attraction, the real asymmetry between men and women, and why I think the discomfort with this conversation is itself part of the problem. I also share something from my own life that I've never talked about publicly before.

This is not a takedown of women. It's not a defense of the manosphere. It's an attempt at the kind of honest conversation we keep avoiding.

Goodies for you:

What the Manosphere Documentary Got Wrong15 Apr 202600:24:07

Louis Theroux made a documentary about men. He got some of it right. But the thing that bothered me most wasn't what he said. It was what he refused to look at.

In this episode I'm separating the men from the ideology, talking about why bad actors exist in every movement, and making the case that the manosphere didn't create the problem. It's a response to one.

This is part one of three. No agenda, no script. Just what I actually think.

Why I Went Silent On Social Media30 Mar 202600:35:36

The Deep Dive has been quiet for five years. This is me coming back.

There's a version of me that learned to optimize. To script. To hook. To perform for an algorithm instead of speaking to a human being. This is me coming back from that.

In this episode I'm talking honestly about why I went quiet, and what I've been sitting with since. No agenda. No script. Just what's real.

If something in this conversation stirred something in you, I made something that might help you go deeper with it. It's called the Soul Scavenger Hunt, a free guided experience to help you find direction, reconnect with yourself, and take one honest step forward.

Kevin Orosz - Do Women Want Men To Put Them In Their Place?14 Jun 202301:16:15

Can men and women co-exist in a healthier way?

When we begin to understand the feminine and masculine dynamics in ourselves, we start to see ways that we've been dropping the ball a bit as a society and a culture. For years, this polarity has been misunderstood and even exploited causing major wounding, and generation trauma. This week, I'm chatting with Kevin O, an intimacy coach and thought leader in the relationships space who has views that some might see as triggering, until you really understand the message beneath.

This week I chatted with my good friend, healer, thought leader, and modern mystic, Luke Kohen, about what it means to be mystical in today's day and age, and what that means for the dynamics around wealth and business. Dr. Cat Meyer - Can Psychedelics Save Your S-x Life?22 Mar 202300:59:44

Do you think psychedelics can be beneficial?

It's a study that has been getting more and more prominent in the medical field in recent years, how the use of psychedelics like cannabis, psilocybin, and even substances like MDMA and Ketamine can actually facilitate healing when used properly. But there are still a lot of taboos around the subject itself, and a lot more to be discovered.

For this conversation, I had the pleasure of chatting with my friend and licensed sex therapist Dr. Cat Meyer. Dr. Cat has been exploring the world of psychedelics specific to her field of healing sexual trauma and creating more openings in dynamics within partnerships.

Nadine Lee - Can You Have A Healthy Relationship With Unhealed Trauma?08 Mar 202301:07:20

Is it possible to leave our past out of new relationships?

Though being able to move into a new relationship without baggage or trauma from the past sounds nice, the fact is that it's quite rare. Because we are emotional beings, we feel a lot and carry our experiences with us; good or bad. So how do these past traumas affect our new relationships? And is it possible to move into a new dynamic and have a healthy experience without doing the work to heal?

For this conversation I had the pleasure of speaking with Nadine Lee, thought leader, educator,  and author of Sex Priestess, her new book about activating your Eros and sexuality in a new, and very healing, way.

Zahara Zimring - Can You Completely Heal Your Trauma?22 Feb 202301:04:25

Why is healing so hard?

We have heard a lot about trauma and the path to healing. I'm still on it, and even with some deep work and amazing resources and information, I can still find it challenging.

This week I'm excited to be chatting with my good friend Zahara Zimring, an incredible human who I've grown with and healed with. Zahara is a coach and has worked to help many people open themselves up to the possibilities of deep healing, and the journey it can be.

Are you going through a life transition?

Life is a journey of seasons. Change, challenges, transitions, good times and bad, are all a part of our story as we navigate the human experience, and from all of these come great lessons for us to carry with us as well as many things that we get to let go of. I am currently experiencing my own time of introspection and transition, and I got a lot out of my conversation this week with Ben Brown. Ben is a former professional kayaker, youtuber, and now a well known coach and influencer, who was the perfect person for the conversation about phases of life and what we can learn about ourselves as we journey through them.

Matt LaCroix - Were Ancient Civilizations Smarter Than Us?18 Jan 202301:20:38

What can we learn from our ancient history?

The mainstream narrative that we've been accustomed to tells us that we have been a society of humans populating the earth for a certain amount of time, and that we are the most advanced that we have ever been. But does the evidence of our history really support that story?

This week I had the pleasure of talking to Matt LaCroix, an author and researcher who dedicates his work to studying and understanding the true history of our ancient humanity, in an effort to help us to learn more about what we have accomplished as humans, and what we are truly capable of.

Andre Duqum - How Do We Stay True To What We Want?04 Jan 202301:01:18

Are you aligning yourself with your true path?

Sometimes it can be hard to discern between our own unique frequency and voice, and the voices in our heads that are not ours. These voices have been picked up and stored over the years from external sources, and it can be hard to realize that they aren't even ours; unless we are willing to really find out what alignment looks like for us and learn adjust our behavior in a way that is in integrity to that goal.

Check out this week's episode with an incredible human, content creator, and host of the Know Thyself Podcast, Andre Duqum. We dive into his process of finding his center, staying aligned with his goals, and some of the challenges he's moved through to do so.

Robert Edward Grant - Is Math A Path For Spiritual Evolution?14 Dec 202201:20:42

Do you recognize patterns?

Many will argue that science and God have nothing to do with each other. But what if science, geometry, and mathematics are actually the language of God? This week I had the opportunity to interview Robert Edward Grant, who you may remember from the past episode "Who Built The Pyramids And Why?". Robert is a philosopher, brilliant mathematician, and thought leader who is working to expand what we know about our own history, and teaching his perspectives of spiritual expansion and human evolution through the mediums of mathematics and science.

What changes when we bring life into the world?

Becoming pregnant is not only about the birthing moment itself. It's about the physical, spiritual, and mental work that happens in the process of creating life, and preparing ourselves for the stewardship of it. This happens not only with the mother, but with the father as well, and this perspective could potentially be talked about and explored a little more.

This week, I have invited Vuja Deus who at the time of this recording is about a month away from receiving his own child into the world. We are diving into a conversation about relationships, fatherhood, and the work that can be done in the process to ensure a healthy experience for all involved.

Dom Farnan - Is It Harder To Build Business Consciously?16 Nov 202200:56:22

Does consciousness have a place in business?

As the world continues to shift and change, we begin to look more closely at not only our own personal development, but how to incorporate that awareness into the way that we do business both personally, and professionally.

This week I am chatting with entrepreneur, business owner, and also someone devoted to her own personal development and growth, Dom Farnan.

We talk about:

  • Dom's experience of how her own spiritual awakening has affected her business and professional life.
  • The challenges of the journey from unconsciousness to self and spiritual awareness.
  • What it means, and what was learned in the process of learning how to run a conscious business in today's world.

Gerard Adams - What Do You Learn Becoming A Millionaire?02 Nov 202201:05:59

What does it mean to be wealthy?

There is something interesting that happens when the subject of money comes up in conversation. Some lean in with willingness to learn or share, and some retract or even sometimes can become defensive or closed off. It is a somewhat polarizing conversation, and it is in this dichotomy that I believe some of the keys lie to actually making money in the first place.

This week I talked with one of my best friends, an inspiring entrepreneur and coaches who I have the pleasure of creating and working with, not to mention someone who became a millionaire at 24 years old and has not only a deep understanding of money, but a desire to always be learning. Gerard Adams and I have had many conversations about wealth and money, and this week I invite you to join us in this conversation of wealth and what we have learned on the path to financial freedom.

We talk about:

  • Gerards inspiring back story of making his first million at a young age, and what he learned as he reflects back now.
  • The mindset that it takes to attract wealth, and how it can sometimes take more than we bargain for.
  • Some of the ways we can not only become more of a match to wealth, but actually prepare ourselves for it.

Richard Rudd - What Does The Perfect Breakup Look Like?19 Oct 202201:07:29

Is there a gift in your shadow?

We face it every day in big and small ways. Our shadow is a part of us, and all too often something that we try very hard to avoid. The key however, is not to avoid our shadow but to really understand it and how to embrace it in a healthy way. This can be the key to living a healthier life, and having a healthier relationship with ourselves and those closest to us.

This week I am honored to be speaking with Richard Rudd, who many know as the founder of Gene Keys, and has studied with great teachers in the East, traveled through the Himalayas, the Pacific, the Americas and the Arctic in search of better understanding a vast synthesis exploring the miraculous possibilities inherent in human DNA. Thus, Gene Keys was born; as  this latest, very special episode with Richard Rudd.

We talk about:

  • Understanding Gene Keys, and specifically how this understanding of ourselves can help us understand our dynamics in relationships.
  • How, sometimes, breakups themselves can result in a beautiful process of rebirth.
  • The difference between sharing for validation, and sharing for the purpose of allowing others to experience their own healing.

Matilda Carroll - Does Sharing Devalue The Sacred?28 Sep 202200:54:51

Can transparency on social media be unhealthy?

You know me; I'm all for vulnerable shares and honesty, and I have made it a point to be as raw and authentic about my experiences as possible. No subject has been off the table for me, as I believe that when we can be real and honest about what we've gone through, or some of the challenges we face, it has the ability to create healing in others that might be going through similar experiences in their life.

This week I am excited to be chatting with Matilda Carrol, who is a powerful medicine woman, tantra instructor and naturopath, and also an avid and tasteful presence on social media. I've been inspired by her message, and have always admired her ability to be so raw and truthful on her platform, and on this episode we talk about that level of vulnerability and if it is always healthy to be so real.

We talk about:

  • Some of the deep experiences that have come from medicine ceremonies, and what can be shared.
  • Our own personal perspectives of what is sacred about our own experience, and when it's valuable to share with others.
  • The difference between sharing for validation, and sharing for the purpose of allowing others to experience their own healing.

Cat Caitlinn - Where Did All The Conscious Men Go?21 Sep 202201:03:17

Are you frustrated with dating?

I've heard this a lot lately, that there are not enough conscious men out there in the dating pool. Well, considering myself a conscious man as well as a single one; this question has confused me. The fact is, I know a lot of conscious and really amazing single men and have been impacted a lot in my own view of dating and sexuality because of the men I choose to surround myself with. So, where are they all?

For this conversation I am chatting with sacred sex and tantra instructor and astrologer who leads retreats around the globe, Cat Caitlinn. The topic of consciousness and spirituality in the dating world, and its role in the masculine and feminine dynamic has been one that I've wanted to dive into for a while, and I think I may have found the perfect person for the job.

We talk about:

  • Astrology! In fact, I even get a little reading from Cat in this episode…
  • The personal development industry and why it is apparently feminine dominant.
  • The difference in sexuality inside and out of the conscious community, and how it is affecting dating and relationships.

Charles Clay - How Do You Maintain Sovereignty In Romantic Relationships?14 Sep 202200:58:39

Do you lose yourself in romantic relationships?

If you answered yes to this question, don't worry; you are normal. In fact, most of us experience this especially in the beginning of a new partnership or in the midst of falling in love. It's easy to do. New love is a dopamine hit that is unlike anything else, and relationships themselves often become a very safe space that can be easy to find shelter in when dealing with a relatively uncertain world. These aren't necessarily bad things, but when left unchecked can actually create unhealthy codependency and actually put a lot of strain on any relationships; romantic, business, and otherwise.

This week my guest is Charles Clay; a high level coach, husband, and father of 2. With two new lives to be responsible for, he and his wife get to experience the sometimes challenging dynamic of keeping their sovereignty in what can be a very busy and demanding experience; and he has some amazing tips and tricks on how to do so.

Eka Darville - How Do You Balance Purpose With Responsibility?07 Sep 202201:23:51

Should purpose ever give way to responsibility?

Most of us are aware of a higher purpose for our life, or at the very least on the search for a deeper meaning. Whether it is through our art, our health, finding love, joy, or hope; purpose is what keeps us moving forward and even gets us through challenging times. But how do you balance the responsibilities of life with the greater search for meaning?

This week's conversation with Eka Darville was one of my favorites. As an actor, Eka is no stranger to the work and dedication it takes to find success in Hollywood. As a husband and a father of three young boys, he is also no stranger to the beautiful responsibilities that life can throw our way and how they can intersect with our personal goals and dreams.

Tim Morrison - What Does It Take To Heal?31 Aug 202201:07:59

Is the healing process ever complete?

Healing has been an important topic in my life and one I try to touch on often on this podcast. It is a beautifully intense process of really opening, being willing to be seen and see yourself, and also ready to step into the work that it takes to move through some of the traumas and woundings that hold us all back.

This week, I brought on Tim Morrison; an artist, healer, and facilitator who has experienced his own profound healing journey and has also worked with so many in their own processes to find deeper levels of themselves and their truth. I found that Tim and I had a lot in common, and I think you will too. After all, healing is kind of a collective thing is it not?

 We talk about:

  • Some of our own personal journey of healing.
  • The work it can take to recognize patterns of trauma and start the work.
  • The importance of healing work, especially in today's day and age, and how healing ourselves can be a collective effort.
  • The depths of sexual trauma, and the mountain it can be to process and move through something that happens too regularly to both men and women.

Chervin - Are Human Beings Meant To Live Forever?24 Aug 202201:09:56

How long are humans actually supposed to live?

We've heard stories of long lives, in some circles even legends of immortality. And as science continues to blow our minds with its advances, the Biohacking craze has been taking off especially in the personal development and health and wellness communities. And why not? If there was a way to live longer, healthier lives; why wouldn't we want to know everything we can about how?

This week's guest is Chervin, the founder of Cymbiotika, an innovative wellness brand whose supplements have become a part of my routine and lifestyle. He has studied the subject of longevity and health in Eastern and Western medicine, orthomolecular medicine, epigenetics, physiology, nutrition, detoxification, biodynamic agriculture, and philosophy and brings a boat load of insight and perspective to this week's Deep Dive question.

We talk about:

  • The science and misconceptions behind aging.
  • How understanding your body as "electrical" can change how you see your health.
  • The history behind the sciences involved in BioHacking and longevity and how they are helping people live longer and healthier lives.

Live long and prosper, and enjoy the episode.

Kevin Orosz - Has Spirituality Ruined Romantic Partnership?17 Aug 202201:18:45

What impact does spirituality have on dating?

However you define WHAT the spiritual community actually is, whether it's conscious, woke, or spiritual; it seems that there is a common thread in this community; long term relationships seem to be difficult to maintain. It's no secret that there seem to be more short term relationships than long term, at least from my perspective. But why is that? Shouldn't spiritually aware couples have an easier time understanding each other, or relating with one another in supportive and sustainable ways?

For this topic I brought in my good friend, who is a coach and has specifically focused a large part of his energy and research towards masculine and feminine dynamics in and out of romantic partnerships.

In this episode we talk about:

Why longer term "conscious" relationships seem to be struggling

The effect that the healing of the wounded masculine, and the rise of the divine feminine, is having on polarity.

Key take aways for couples looking to experience more polarity, more connection, while continuing to find deeper levels of spirituality both separately and together.

It doesn't have to be either/or. But as always, it's the awareness and intention that counts when it comes to dating.

Check out more from Kevin Orosz and go a little deeper into the world of relationships, dynamics, and polarity in his course Primal Polarity. https://kevinorosz.com/primalpolarity/

Allie Michelle - Where Do Creative Babies Come From?10 Aug 202201:04:33

Do you want to nurture your creativity?

I say it all the time; we are all capable of creative expression and expansion. Humans ability to create from new ideas and find inspiration in the world around them is a divine gift that is really at the core of everything we have created as a species. Every statue, monument, book, painting, building, idea, good or bad, all of it has been born of the creativity and ingenuity of human beings. It is a beautiful power that spans the scale of complexity and simplicity and can represent the soul of a person like know other medium of communication can.

This week, I'm so excited to have the opportunity to talk with someone who has actually inspired me as an artist for many years. Allie Michelle is a fellow spoken word poet, two time best selling author with another book of poetry on the way, breathwork facilitator, and so much more; and is no stranger to the ebbs and flows of the creative process. As I continue to move through the creation of a new project in the form of an in-depth breakup course, Allies words and insights are medicine for me and I hope they can be for you as well.

Some Insight Into My Creative Process03 Aug 202200:17:25

What is holding you back from your creativity?

So many of us have amazing ideas and powerful offerings that we want to bring to the world. I believe that we are all creative beings, and that if we were able to get to the core of our blocks and our resistance around actually bringing those powerful and creative ideas to life we would be living in a completely different world today.

This week, I want to share with you as much as I can around my own creative process. Through the lens of creating a new course on breakups, I want to share vulnerably how I am moving through my own wounds and resistance to bring this to life and prove to myself that I'm capable of diving into something I've never done before.

Branden Collinsworth - Are You More Scared Of Life, Or Death?27 Jul 202201:02:23

Why is death so scary to people?

We know that death is a part of life. It is that one, last great adventure that we all get to go on at some point in this human experience. Its inevitability doesn't make it any easier to lose ones that we love, and definitely doesn't make the mystery of death any easier to comprehend. But for some, the fact that we are all going to die actually invites them to live a more purposeful life.

Branden Collinsworth is one of those people. This week I had a conversation about life and death with a friend, coach, mentor, speaker, and founder of Warrior Retreats, who recently experienced the loss of his mother; and has some pretty amazing insights on this topic because of it.

On this episode we talk about:

 - Brandens perspective on death after losing his mother.

- Can finding meaning in life be a crutch?

- How to go all in and still keep the balance of Yin and Yang.

- What death can actually teach you about living.

Lily Fangz - Can Making Art Ever Be Unhealthy?20 Jul 202201:05:12

What makes art healthy?

We often consider expressing ourselves as a healthy thing to do, and what better way to do that than through art and communication? That being said; there are two sides of art. The creation, and the actual sharing of it.

This week I Dive Deep with artist, wordsmith, and intellectual Lily Fangz about the process of creation of art, as well as releasing it, and where the lines of it being healthy or unhealthy can be drawn.

Equanimous - How Do You Balance Smart Business With Good Art?13 Jul 202201:14:52

Does art really have anything to do with business?

We've all heard the term "starving artist". I don't necessarily know when the term was coined, but I still hear it referenced all the time; almost as an ok title. An artist struggling to make ends meet seems to make sense to a lot of people, which for a culture that relies SO heavily on art and the artists that devote their life to the mastery of what they do, has always perplexed me. Why do we value art so much in this society, yet see so many artists struggling financially? And what effect would it have on our culture if artists were able to focus less on making money, and more on the devotion to their craft?

For this topic, I brought someone close to me and close to this subject. Nate Stein, aka Equanimous is a devoted artist, and DJ who has navigated his way through all of the stories around art and money, and come out the other side now helping other artists to thrive in what they do and share their message with the world. For you artists and creators out there wondering what steps to take to make a profit from your passion, this one is definitely for you.

Raamayan - Why Should Creators Care About Web 3.0?06 Jul 202201:00:12

What is the deal with Web 3.0?

If you are asking that question, you're definitely not alone. As cryptocurrencies and NFT's become more and more of a popular topic of conversation, many are being left with more questions than answers. For some, this has them leaning into a new learning curve and dedicating themselves to understanding this new technology and what benefits it might have for them. For others, it can be a little daunting and can often turn off any desire to learn before it starts.

This week, I brought on my good friend Ramaayan who is a modern day wizard, a scholar and entrepreneur, and one who is incredibly studied in the world of decentralization and Web 3. We discuss what this new world of technology looks like for all creators, especially artists, and why all of us should care a little more about Web 3.0 and the potentials it carries with it.

Nick Onken - Does Real Art Exist Anymore?29 Jun 202201:03:57

Is art still relevant?

As an artist, I have dedicated most of my life to the path of inspiration, dedication, and creation of my expression through artistic mediums. Poetry, music, even cooking for me carries an intention behind it, and I strive to make everything I do artistic. The search for truth and authenticity behind what can be incredibly vulnerable and challenging at times, is to me what art is; and I believe that the world needs more of it.

This week, I'm speaking with Nick Onken who has also been an artistic devotee in his life and explored it (quite successfully, I'll add) in a number of different mediums. We are discussing what art looks like in 2022, how the world of social media, algorithms, and instant access has changed the game, and whether art is still relevant and important as a medium for societal change.

Mia Magik - How Do Spiritual People Become Wealthy?22 Jun 202201:06:37

What is the source of abundance?

You won't find me disagreeing with the concept that money is energy. I do believe that it is something that can be attracted to us, or pushed away from us consciously or unconsciously. In the spiritual world it can be a confronting and sometimes controversial topic, as we continue to navigate the adage that money is the root of all evil, a concept that a lot of us grew up hearing. But can you be wealthy and still be spiritual? And what does it really mean to be wealthy in the first place?

For this discussion I decided to dive deep with my friend Mia Magik; an influencer and entrepreneur herself, who is also a witch and devotes her work and energy to bringing a deep understanding of the abundance that the earth provides and how it translates into all different aspects of our life. We discuss the source of abundance, the purpose of wealth, and a little bit of our own stories of our journeys there.

Luke Kohen - How Do You Know If You're A Spiritual Narcissist?15 Jun 202201:03:29

Does the spiritual community have a narcissism problem?

We are all in search of answers. Answers to the higher purpose for our life, to the truth about God or consciousness, and much more. The problem with humans is it seems that the closer we get to what we consider to be the answer, the more entitled and invested we become to the "knowledge" itself. Narcissism is an interesting trait, because it almost carries with it the tendency to close our minds and hearts to further growth, or information. When we pretend, or even believe, that we know more than others around us; we run the risk of halting our own growth in the process.

I see this happening in the spiritual community, as it continues to become more trendy and "IG-worthy". That's why I brought my good friend Luke Kohen on to talk a little about his own experience of spiritual growth, and if he sees a risk of narcissism in a community whose core intention should truly be about inviting growth and change for all of us. Luke is an artist, entrepreneur, and someone who I have a high level of respect for because of the journey and work that he's done in his own spiritual walk.

Aren Bahia - Does Life Get Better After You Almost Die?01 Jun 202201:14:24

How would a near-death experience change your life?

It doesn't happen to everyone, but for some of us; life can completely change in an instant. We've all heard stories of people who have had near death experiences, a sudden accident or illness, something that can change the perspective of what's really important in life. We hear these stories of the heroic recovery, the dedication and passion for life that is needed, and the new outlook that comes from some of these experiences. But, does that happen for everyone?

My guest this week is Aren Bahia, a Canadian entrepreneur and coach who has made his life in Bali all about empowering people and businesses. Aren is a pillar for his community, and a beacon of light for those around him, and 8 months ago was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident, unable to walk and almost dying. I've been fascinated with Aren's outlook in general, but wanted to dive a little deeper with him on what has changed for him in the process of his recovery and if there have been any major revelations around purpose or just life itself after such a traumatic experience.

The Biggest Lesson From My Ayahuasca Retreat25 May 202200:38:36

What does it take to really grow?

A few weeks ago I led a retreat with my good friend Gerard Adams in the jungles of Peru where we Dove about as Deep as one can go, in my opinion, and sat with Ayahuasca. Though I have sat with the medicine many times in my life, this experience itself was a first for me in that we were actually guided through the process of harvesting and making the medicine. The connection that this provided was powerful for everyone in the group, and though it was a beautiful and expansive experience, it left me in a place of deep integration that has been challenging.

This week I want to talk about my experience not only with the plant medicine, but also what it has brought up and why I have found it one of the more challenging integrations after a ceremony that I've been through. These types of medicine journeys are always confronting, healing, and particularly when we are going through times of transition in our lives they can bring to the surface much more than we might know is actually going on within us. Let me tell you all about it, on this week's episode.

Mia Lux - Have Dating Apps Destroyed Love?18 May 202201:14:30

Is it even possible to find love on a dating app?

Love them or hate them, but dating apps seem like they're here to stay. The "swipe culture" of modern dating has changed a lot about the way that we interact in today's dating scene and in a lot of ways is a mirror for our society today. But do they work? And are the incentives to swipe right or left based on surface level motives, that can create more harm than good?

This week my guest is Mia Lux, an entrepreneur, comedian, and Co-Founder of Lavette Social Club, which describes itself as a vetted, virtual, social club for self aware singles. As we Dive Deep into the topic of dating in today's modern age of apps and technology, we also find ourselves discussing a lot about our own stories of love and how they have (or haven't) found success on today's virtual platforms.

Check out my first experience of using a dating app after 10 years of being in a relationship, on this episode of The Art Of Choosing Love. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLgWrIqIXF8
