I am your host AsandaLondon, tuning in every week from London. I'm devoted to championing the sounds of South African Deep house.

My name is actually Neelam. I first got the name 'Asanda' on a British scheme trip to Eastern Cape 8 years ago.

In Feb 2023, I went to Cape Town and discovered South African Deep House.

When I got back to London I worked on getting my home setup to start learning to DJ from my bedroom in Nov 2023. I kept Asanda as my stage name.

In Nov 2024, I started the Daring Deeply show on EXT Radio. Since then I've played at notable deep house spaces across South Africa on my 3 month 'training tour' in 2025, such as Born2House, Altitude and Zen63 as well as in the UK at Natives, Abantu and Sondela.

I am so blessed to have a monthly residency on MetroFM’s Urban Beat and I'm working on my first compilation, Daring Deeply Volume 1.
