Her rise to Success included joining Douglas Elliman in 2009. She consistently ranks among the top 10 individual agents in the city. In 2023, she closed a landmark $75 million deal on a Central Park South condo, which was the firm's largest sale of the year. She also handled the $23 million sale of Jennifer Lopez's Nomad penthouse.

Nick Leeson is an English former derivatives trader whose fraudulent, unauthorised and speculative trades resulted in the 1995 collapse of Barings Bank, the United Kingdom's oldest existing merchant bank after losses of approximately $1.4 Billion.
He was convicted of financial crime in a Singapore court and served more than four years in Changi Prison which included beating cancer while in prison..
Today, he is an author with three books and also active on the keynote and after-dinner speaking circuit, where he advises companies about risk and corporate responsibility. Since 2023, he has been a private investigator dealing with cases of financial misconduct.

Martha Lane Fox, Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho is a prominent British businesswoman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, digital/diversity activist, and public servant. She co-founded Lastminute.com during the dotcom boom of the early 2000s which was sold for $1 billion and co-founded Lucky Voices. She has subsequently served on public service digital projects and various boards including Twitter, Chanel, Marks and Spencer, British Airways to name but a few. At the time of filming, she was also Chancellor of the Open University and President of the British Chambers of Commerce. Also, the youngest female cross bench peer when she entered more than ten years ago in the House of Lords and helped create the GOV.UK.

Prof Dr Miranda K. Brawn MBA FRSA has a professional executive background in financial services, law and social impact spanning decades. Previously, she had worked as an investment banker, stock broker, hedge fund derivatives sales trader and senior financial services regulatory lawyer. Her career started at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs to name but a few as one of the first women on London's Square Mile and New York's Wall Street trading floor.
She has a portfolio board career focused on sustainable and inclusive growth. As of today, she sits on the boards for UK's largest NHS Trust with £3.2 billion annual turnover as a Non-Executive Director, and their first Chair of their People, Culture and Education Committee focused on health inequalities.
From a Financial Services perspective, she is also a Board Advisor for the FTSE 100’s $1 Trillion AUM Financial Company's Sustainability and Impact Funds and an Advisor for various AI Technology and Venture Capital Fund start-ups. Her advisory services extend to being an Advisor to the UK Prime Minister and UK Government on equality matters. Miranda has held other local government appointments, including being an Equality Commissioner.
Previous roles have included being an advisory board member for The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn Investment Committee and Non-Executive Director for Crownsavers Credit Union Ltd. Miranda was working with UK's richest family (the ‘Hindujas’) as Non-Executive Director and diversity and sustainability board level champion for their UK based engineering company & electric vehicle sustainability organisation Switch Mobility Ltd overseeing an investment which valued the company at $1.8 billion, making it a unicorn.
Supported 20+ charities & founded registered charity The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation (TMBDLF) in January 2016 with global impact of 100,000 young leaders. She has won 100+ awards including first honorary professor at Roehampton University, former Visiting Fellow at Oxford University, Universities of Law & Brighton Honorary Doctorates, honorary EDI fellow at East London University and Women of Influence 2025.

Guest Biography: Baroness Sandip (Sandy) Verma served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for International Development from May 2015 until July 2016. She has been a Conservative member of the House of Lords since 2006 and previously served as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for DECC. At the time of recording of this podcast episode she was also the Chair of UN Women UK until 2024.
Baroness Verma attended local schools and university in Leicester. In 2006 she was raised to the peerage as Baroness Verma of Leicester in the County of Leicestershire.
Prior to becoming Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for DECC, Baroness Verma was Spokesperson for Cabinet Office, International Development, Women and Equalities and Business Innovation and Skills.
Baroness Verma started her first business at the age of 19 in high fashion, supplying high street multiples. In 2000 she changed her business to the service sector.

Lisa Aziz is a British news presenter. She is best known as the presenter of the Morning News on LBC. Before this she worked for ITV Westcountry as a co-presenter for the evening news programme The West Country Tonight. She later resigned from that post. She also presented the news on TV-am and Sky News, and was one of the first Asian (Biracial) and Muslim presenters to be seen on UK television. In 2004, she was the recipient of an EMMA (Ethnic Multicultural Media Academy) award for Best Television News Journalist. Aziz until April 2025 presented the breakfast show on the UK's first 24-hour rolling news radio station LBC News.

Dr Andy Palmer is a world-renowned automotive leader and one of the UK's top engineers, having led transformations at two of the global vehicle brands, Nissan and Aston Martin. He founded “The Palmer Foundation” as the champion for apprenticeships for disadvantaged youths including supporting future female engineers.
As well as being the CEO and Executive Vice-Chairman of electric vehicle company, Switch Mobility Ltd, he is founder and CEO of Palmer Automotive Ltd, a non-executive director of Ashok Leyland Ltd, and non-executive vice chairman of InoBat, a Slovakian developer of electric vehicle 'intelligent' batteries. He was President and CEO of Aston Martin from 2014 to 2020; and COO of Nissan 2011-2014
He was previously the Chief Planning Officer, Executive Vice-President and Member of the Executive Committee of Nissan Motor Company. He was also Chairman of Infiniti, and President of Nissan Motor Light Truck Co, a member of the Board of Directors of Nissan (China) Investment Company (NCIC), and of Nissan's joint ventures with India's Ashok Leyland. Andy is probably best known for his pioneering work on EV’s being the father of the Nissan LEAF.
He has also advised the UK government in export matters as an ambassador for the GREAT Britain campaign in the past. In 2016, Andy was asked to be an advisor to the UK Prime Minister in the area of Skills and Apprenticeships.

Charles Alexander CBE is an experienced Chairman and Non-Executive Director with extensive global experience of Listed and Unlisted companies, of third sector/ charitable enterprises and Government and public sector entities.
Charles has had a long and distinguished career working at board level across a number of different sector, including the roles of Managing Director of internal corporate and project finance at NM Rothschild, and President of GE Capital Europe.
He was made a CBE in 2022 for his services to culture and health.
From 1st December 2022, Charles assumed the role of Chairman of both Guys and St Thomas's and Kings College NHS Foundation Trusts, upon expiry of his statutory term of office at The Royal Marsden.

Biography of Rt Hon the Baroness Hale of Richmond DBE
Lady Hale retired as President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, the most senior Judge in the United Kingdom, in January 2020. Before becoming a Judge, she had a varied career, as an academic lawyer at the University of Manchester (also qualifying and practising for a while as a barrister in Manchester), as the first woman member of the Law Commission, where she led successful projects in Family Law and Mental Capacity Law. She was appointed a High Court Judge in 1994, was promoted to the Court of Appeal in 1999, and in 2004 became the first and only woman ‘Law Lord’ in the House of Lords, then the apex court in the United Kingdom. In 2009, the Law Lords were translated into the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. She became its Deputy President in 2013 and its first woman President in 2017. In retirement she has spent her time in good works, events and writing – her memoir, Spiderwoman, A Life, was published in 2021. She holds a number of honorary or visiting academic appointments and is Visitor of her alma mater, Girton College, Cambridge.

Recorded on 1st March 2024, Dame Neslyn Watson-Druée was awarded a Dame Commander of The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to Women and to Ethnic Minorities in the King's 2023 Birthday Honours List. She has been recognised for making significant contributions in the fields of leadership, personal and career development for staff in the public, private and third sectors through voluntary organisations, local government, banking and commerce.
She arrived in the UK at 19 years of age from Jamaica with 5 Ordinary Levels. From her initial training as a nurse, she overcame obstacles of prejudice and discrimination as a young Black woman to become a Senior Leader within the National Health Service. She has received 25 Awards acknowledging her impact on society. In this highest award of DBE, Dame Neslyn was recognised for her selfless support of young people in the Black community to move away from the influence of gangs and crime, as well as personally funding employment to young Black people and establishing a community radio station intended to help young Black people (Colourful Radio). She has excelled as a mentor, coach and role model for ethnic minority NHS staff.
She has developed training programmes which have been sustained over decades to contribute to the advancement of people from Black and ethnic minority communities, enabling many of them to break through the glass ceiling. For example, she designed the template for the Black and Minority Ethnic Leadership Programme which has been running for over 20 years in NHS hospitals and Community Trusts. She said: "Over the years I have grown into a leader, a pioneer nurse, entrepreneur, a business angel for the ethnic minority community Premier executive coach for his majesty’s government. I have had the honour of spending over 40 years empowering and developing women and people of colour to release their creativity, vision, intelligence and to stand in their power. It has been a wonderful journey. I seek to encourage young people to know that they can succeed at whatever they put their mind to provided it is rooted in unshakable, kindness, generosity and courage."

She also sits on the board of Crown Agent Banks, Lightrock for investing in sustainable businesses, Chair of Financial Alliance for women where members work in more than 135 countries to build programmes that support women with access to capital, information, education and markets. Additionally, a member of the UK Government’s Artificial Intelligence Council. Ann has previously held board positions with ICE, AstraZeneca, Charity Bank and was the lead non-executive for UK Government's Department of Business, Energy, Industrial Strategy, from January 2021 to February 2023.
Until December 2022, served as the executive Vice Chair of Mastercard, having previously been President of International Markets for the company, responsible for the management of all customer-related activities in over 200 countries around the world. Before joining Mastercard, Ann led the Financial Services Group with Alvarez & Marsal in London and during that time was the CEO of Lehman Holdings in Europe during their Chapter 11 process. She was the CEO of Transaction Banking at ABN-AMRO, following 15 years in senior operational positions at Citigroup where she ran the payments infrastructure of Citi across 103 countries with circa 6000 staff. She launched the first-ever electronic currency trading platform for Citi during her time in the investment bank.
Ann has a First Class Pure Mathematics degree, honorary doctorate from Sheffield University, a M.Sc. with research into medical statistics and honorary doctorate from Newcastle University. She is also a fellow of London Business School and a Trustee of MS Society.
