Ballad Health has a service region that is geographically the size of New Jersey. They own almost every hospital and over 90% of inpatient care. How was this  medical monopoly legally created? Dani speaks with Dr. Alex Maki, general surgeon and daughter, who recently experienced the care delivered to her father, a doctor specializing in infectious disease, at Ballad Health's Holston Valley Medical Center. Ballad Health is a state-sanctioned medical monopoly operating in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

With the ban of TikTok and other social media apps due to "national security concerns", many are waking up with the realization that maybe we aren't as free as we thought. 

Pete Hegseth's Senate confirmation hearing for Secretary of Defense was an eye-opener. We learned a lot about him, his lack of qualifications, and just how far some are willing to go for their political agenda. Don't fret though, Pete has Jesus and Jenny so everything will be just fine. (Kidding)
