England v Bangladesh was a one sided affair, in their second game of the Cricket World Cup. Joe Root, Dawid Malan and the boys posted a huge score. In response Bangladesh didn't really do anything. As an early innings spell from Reece Topley effectively ended the chase before it began.  Later Pakistan took on Sri Lanka in a thriller. Virat Kolhi helped the Indian team beat Australia in a low scoring game in Chennai. This gets their 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup campaign off to a great start. Pakistan took on the Netherlands in both team's first game of the 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup. Batting first, Pakistan were given a big scare by the Netherlands, who took early wickets and had Pakistan rocking after the fall of Babar Azam.  Saud Shakheel and Rizwan were able to stead the ship though and despite wickets for Bas de Leede, Pakistan managed to reach a good score of 286.  In response Netherlands did threaten a couple of times, as Bas de Leede, once again, batted very well.
