In this very first episode, hosts Jovanna and Chelsea kick things off by introducing themselves and diving headfirst into the myth of being “too old,” “too much,” or that it’s “too late” to start—or restart—a career in the film and television industry. With honesty, humour, and heart, they unpack the unspoken rules that hold creatives back, especially women over 35, and set the tone for what this podcast is all about: rewriting the script and reclaiming our narrative.

Welcome to The Creative Sisterhood : The podcast where women take centre stage, on-screen and behind the scenes. Hosted by longtime industry pros and real-life creative soul sisters Jovanna Burke and Chelsea Hobbs, this show is for every woman who's ever felt like the entertainment industry wasn’t built for her — and decided to build something better.

Whether you're an aspiring actress, indie filmmaker, writer, multi-hyphenate, or just tired of waiting for permission to tell your story — we see you. We are you.

Each week, we crack open honest conversations about acting, creating your own work, building your brand, and navigating this wild business without losing your joy (or your mind). We’ll share what we’ve learned (and what we’re still learning) after decades in the game, so you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

This isn’t just another industry podcast. It’s a movement, a mentorship circle, a rebellion against the “rules,” and a place where your voice matters.

Because here, we don’t compete — we collaborate.
