Some new creators might experience the fear of judgement while other new influencers might battle with self-doubt. If you're a brand new creator feeling insecure about creating content, this podcast episode is for you.

One tip on overcoming feelings of insecurity, intimidation and fear: Give yourself permission to start something new and experiment.

 Another tip for overcoming feelings of insecurity is to practice creating content often. The more you practice, the more confidence you’ll feel around creating and posting content. Don’t wait until a piece of content is perfect to post. The value in creating and posting often is also in the experience. The more you create, the more practice you’ll get and the faster you’ll learn what works and what doesn’t work.

I feel like I did a ton of personal work the first three months of the year. Pregnancy has forced me to think about what a balanced lifestyle looks like. Because for the first time, I came into the year not only just thinking about my career goals, but I also am thinking about family because I’m due to have the baby this summer.

 What is a media kit?

A media kit is essentially a resume of who you are as a brand. Your media kit should you pull in all your social media, blog, podcast, and web platforms. Your media kit can also include audience demographics as well as previous brand partners or clients you’ve worked with.

 How often should you be refreshing your media kit?

You can refresh your media kit as often as you’d like. But I recommend either updating your media kit either once a month or once a quarter.
