In late February, a global fundraising initiative was created by Pravda Beer Theatre, a brewery located in Lviv, Ukraine where the proceeds from this collaborative beer recipe helped support the Ukrainian humanitarian efforts in the war against Russia.

Producer Parker purchased some of Broken Rail Brewery’s version of this beer which was brewed in collaboration with Upper Thames Brewing Company, a brewery featured on the podcast in Season 2 Episode 4.

This beer which was originally released starting March 29th was sold in cans, draft and growler fills at Broken Rail Brewery but was also made available at the Upper Thames Brewery and the Brickhouse Brew Pub in Woodstock (where it is still available on tap as of the release of this episode).

*Spoiler alert! The generous delivery ended up being the 5th collaboration between Henderson Brewing Company and the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies, a Hibiscus Pale Ale. 

This society in which Michelle volunteers and widely supports aims to bring women working in the craft beer industry and other beer-loving ladies together by hosting events where individuals can meet, chat, trade beers, connect and make new friends while also raising funds for the Canadian Women’s Foundation.
