Elkan Abrahamson and Nicola represent more than 7,000 members of the Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice group UK in the national Covid Inquiry, fighting to secure answers for those directly affected by the pandemic. Module 1 examined the government’s preparedness for a pandemic and heard from witnesses such as David Cameron, Mark Drakeford, Nicola Sturgeon and Arlene Foster. Module 2 examined the core decisions made by the government and evidence was heard from witnesses including Boris Johnson, Rishi Sunak and Dominic Cummings. Module 3 begins in September 2024 and will examine the impact of Covid-19 on the healthcare system and will hear evidence from bereaved, front line health care workers, experts and politicians.
