The Time Where Nothing Happened? Exploring The Dark Ages (Co-Conspirators Podcast #27)

Season 2 · Episode 11

mercredi 28 avril 2021Duration 01:05:07

Check out our website! https://thecoconspiratorspodcast.word...

Who turned the lights out!? The Co-Conspirators Podcast time machine has broken down once again, this time finding ourselves in the early medieval period... This part of history was commonly known as the Dark Ages, which saw Europe plunged into a period of barbaric warfare, with very little in the way of historic significance when compared to the bygone ages of Greek and Roman civilisation.

While this might be a slightly shorter episode than usual, with just the two theories to delve into, but there's still a wealth of interesting discoveries and random tangents to discover. Calum offers up the first mystery, exploring one of the greatest myths to have ever emerged from England's brave shores... The legend of King Arthur Pendragon. Was there a real life hero who inspired this epic tale, or was it the case of historians playing fast and loose with the truth? Up next, Luke's theory threatens the balance of our entire historic understanding as we know it... Did the dark ages actually exist? Or should 300 years be erased from the calendars and history books, meaning that we're still in the 18th century?

Join Calum, Luke and John as we break down some of the most interesting conspiracy theories that the world has to offer, covering everything from the most historic plots to the most cutting-edge psy-ops and even ancient mysteries. We aim to offer an informal yet informative insight into some of the explanations and suggestions that the internet has to offer, discussing the factual and the far fetched, in a light-hearted conversation between three close mates. Hadron from Hell? When Science and Conspiracy Theories Collide (Co-Conspirators Podcast Episode #18)

Season 2 · Episode 1

mercredi 30 septembre 2020Duration 01:09:46

After a short break, we're back at it with another conspiracy-laden podcast. The topic for this week's instalment: Science. Scientific advancements have improved people's lives in an immeasurable number of ways, from something as simple as your morning coffee, right through to the world wide web, without which you wouldn't be able to enjoy the Co-Conspirators Podcast! Many sceptics would argue that scientific theory is essential for disproving conspiracy theories, but what happens when these two worlds collide?

In this episode, Calum takes a look at the science (or pseudoscience) behind conspiracy theories, with a psychological analysis of the characteristics that might drive an individual to seek comfort in the world of aliens, government secrets and beyond. Luke re-ignites his ongoing feud with the country of Switzerland, this time examining the link between the social phenomenon known as the Mandela effect, and the scientific research that has arisen from CERN's large Hadron Collider in Geneva. Finally, John addresses one of the biggest problems facing the world today, the energy crisis. With fossil fuels both running out and destroying the environment, and renewable sources unable to meet the demand, does the work of physicist Nikola Telsa hold the answers?

Join Calum, Luke and John as we break down some of the most interesting conspiracy theories that the world has to offer, covering everything from the most historic plots to the most cutting-edge psy-ops. We aim to offer an informal yet informative insight into some of the explanations and suggestions that the internet has to offer, discussing the factual and the far fetched, in a light-hearted conversation between three close mates. 9/11 Conspiracy Theories Revisited: Challenging the Official Narrative? (Co-Conspirators Podcast #17)

Season 1 · Episode 17

vendredi 11 septembre 2020Duration 01:16:53

Check out our first 9/11 episode here!

In the nineteen years since the September 11th attacks, numerous conspiracy theories have come to light that challenges the many holes that seem to appear in the official narrative, with varying degrees of credibility. There are still massive question marks over the US Government's involvement, which are certainly highlighted within the theories we discuss in this podcast. Last episode, we discussed the unbelievable manner in which the two towers fell, the possible reasons why none of the hijacked planes were intercepted, and the possible financial beneficiaries from such a deadly disaster. Will we ever know the full truth?

In this episode, Calum takes a closer look at the hijackers held responsible for the deadly attacks. Were they ever on the planes in the first place, and if so, could these 'amateur' pilots have been capable of performing the complex flying manoeuvres that saw Boeing Airliners crashed into the World Trade Centre and Pentagon buildings? Luke offers an alternative explanation for the motive behind the 9/11, one that certainly defies the mainstream narrative and entertains the idea of an new global antagonist. Like Switzerland's most famous export, let's hope that this theory isn't full of holes! Finally, John builds upon some of the points Calum raised, further examining the planes that were believed to have been weaponised for the attacks. Perhaps there were no planes at all?

Join us as we delve deeper into the conspiracy theories surrounding the most devastating attack on US soil. We aim to offer an informal yet informative insight into some of the explanations and suggestions that the internet has to offer, discussing the factual and the far fetched, in a light-hearted conversation between three close mates. With theories ranging from the plausible to the preposterous, can we be certain that anything is 100% true?

Missing Flight Conspiracy Theories : MH370, KAL007 and More (Co-Conspirators Podcast Episode #16)

Season 1 · Episode 16

vendredi 4 septembre 2020Duration 01:19:54

This week, we take a look through another classic conspiracy category, examining the facts and the fiction behind some of the most famous aviation conspiracy flights. While flying is considered to be one of the safest forms of transport, when things go wrong it can be catastrophic.

In this episode, Luke visits the Bermuda triangle, which has claimed the lives of numerous flights and voyages over the hundreds of years since its discovery. Has the hurricane hot spot inspired a legendary reputation, or is something more sinister at hand? John details the gripping case of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 with an interesting take on its disappearance. Building on a topic we discussed last episode, could the flight have fallen victim to a false flag terror attack perpetrated by Western governments? Finally, Calum recounts the fate of Korean Airlines Flight 007. Shot down by Russian fighter jets after veering 200 miles off course, was it a tragic accident or was there more to the story?

Join us as we delve deeper into the conspiracy theories surrounding the current global pandemic. We aim to offer an informal yet informative insight into some of the explanations and suggestions that the internet has to offer, discussing the factual and the far fetched, in a light-hearted conversation between three close mates. The recent explosion in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, shocked the world and saw thousands of citizens take to the streets in protest against their government. This tragic event truly highlighted the corruption entrenched within the Lebanese Government, and the series of failings that led to such an avoidable disaster.

In this episode, we examine some of the conspiracy theories that have proven themselves to be true, exposing the times where world governments have been caught lying. Calum unearths the shocking story behind the deadly ammonium nitrate cargo that caused the devastating explosion in Lebanon. How did it end up getting abandoned in a port-side warehouse, and why did the government ignore numerous warnings about the danger it posed? Luke recounts the time where people thought the world was on the brink of World War III, following the Iranian Government's decision to shoot down the Ukrainian passenger jet Flight 752.  Finally, John negotiates the uncomfortable topic of false flag terror. Are our governments staging or manipulating terrorist attacks for political gain?

Roswell, Area 51, Bob Lazar and Dinosaurs? UFO Conspiracy Theories (Co-Conspirators Podcast #14)

Season 1 · Episode 14

mardi 4 août 2020Duration 01:31:46

UFO sightings have been making headlines recently with the Pentagon's decision to declassify footage of unidentified flying objects and unidentified aerial phenomena, along with a commitment to be more transparent regarding future reports of extra terrestrial activity. Therefore, what better time to discuss some of the most groundbreaking UFO conspiracy theories, in attempt to answer one of the most pressing questions known to mankind: Is there extra terrestrial life out there?

In this episode, John investigates the infamous Roswell Incident of 1947. Was the wreckage found in the Nevada desert part of a US military cover-up, or evidence that aliens had crash landed on Earth? Calum retells the story of Bob Lazar, the famous Ufologist who claims to have worked at Area 51 and has seen firsthand evidence of alien technology. Is he a credible whistle-blower out to expose one of the US Government's biggest secrets? Finally, Luke challenges one of most pivotal incidents in evolutionary history, that being the extinction of the dinosaurs over 65 million years ago. Did extra terrestrial visitors have a role to play?

This podcast aims to offer an informal yet informative insight into some of the explanations and suggestions that the internet has to offer, discussing the factual and the far-fetched, in a light-hearted conversation between three close mates. Marilyn Monroe Murdered? Hollywood Conspiracy Theories (Co-Conspirators Podcast Episode #13 w. Special Guest)

Season 1 · Episode 13

vendredi 24 juillet 2020Duration 01:48:14

More entertainment related conspiracies this week, as we examine some of the secrets of the silver screen to see what conspiracies the world of Hollywood could be hiding. To help us, the Co-Conspirators Podcast welcomes on its first guest, George, a film and journalism graduate who writes for CLAPPER Ltd and also features on their podcast where they present a round-table discussion of film reviews and recommendations.

This week, George kicks things off with an investigation into one of Hollywood's most enduring sweethearts, Marilyn Monroe. Was her untimely death a tragic suicide, or did she become too involved with the darker dealings of the US President John F Kennedy and Attorney General Robert F Kennedy, as well as their ties to the mafia, communism and other conspiracies? Luke discusses the story behind 2015's Spotlight, a film that won the Best Picture Oscar for its portrayal of the investigation into child abuse within the Catholic Church. Was this typical self-congratulation for Hollywood, as they attempted to deflect attention away from their own secrets?

A slight change of pace for John's theory, examining the possibility that one of Hollywood's longest most iconic superhero franchises is afflicted with a curse that has affected numerous actors, actresses and crew members, that being the infamous Superman Curse. Finally, Calum finishes up with one of the more outlandish theories to have featured on the podcast. How does Steven Spielberg's 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind relate to a leaked top secret US Government operation suggesting that mankind has already made contact with extra-terrestrial beings from beyond our solar system?

This podcast aims to offer an informal yet informative insight into some of the explanations and suggestions that the internet has to offer, discussing the factual and the far-fetched, in a light-hearted conversation between three close mates. #FreeBritney Explained: Music Industry Conspiracy Theories (Co-Conspirators Podcast Episode #12)

Season 1 · Episode 12

samedi 18 juillet 2020Duration 01:34:04

Another relatively quite week on the conspiracy theory front, so we decided to turn to the world of popular culture for inspiration, specifically the music industry. Even with the new age of music streaming and live music being placed on hold given the current global situation, the music industry remains a central pillar in the world of entertainment, with so many dreaming of making their way to stardom. Despite seeming like a world of glitz and glamour, taking a peek behind the curtain has revealed tales of exploitation in return for promises of fame, as well as other shocking scandals that we will discuss in this episode.

The hashtag #FreeBritney has been trending recently, seeing popstar Britney Spears return to the headlines in very controversial circumstances, especially when considering the artist's previous battles with the media and mental health. Luke has been exploring these revelations, revealing the story behind Britney Spear's strange social media activity and her conservatorship arrangement with her father. John takes us back to the 60s with a conspiracy theory that surrounds one of the biggest bands of all time, the Beatles, and their founding member and bassist Paul McCartney. Clues contained within the Beatles album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club hint at the fact that Paul McCartney died in 1966, and was replaced by a doppelganger who has played the role Paul McCartney to this day. Finally, Calum details one of the biggest conspiracies to have emerged from the music industry, the suicide of iconic Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Often described as the voice of a generation, did he succumb to drugs and a declining mental state, or was there foul play involved?

This podcast aims to offer an informal yet informative insight into some of the explanations and suggestions that the internet has to offer, discussing the factual and the far-fetched, in a light-hearted conversation between three close mates. With theories ranging from the plausible to the preposterous, can we be certain that anything is 100% true?

Will Ghislaine Maxwell Expose the Elite? Epstein's Assistant Arrested (Co-Conspirators Podcast Episode #11)

Season 1 · Episode 11

samedi 11 juillet 2020Duration 01:32:05

With the recent arrest of prominent socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, this week's episode was the perfect opportunity to delve into the criminal underworld of disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell's arrest has the potential to shed new light on the Jeffrey Epstein case, where she served as right hand women to the billionaire financier, responsible for coercing vulnerable young women into the trafficking organisation and targeting high profile clients to indulge in their 'services.' Given the amount of knowledge Ghislaine Maxwell was privy to, she could implicate a wealth of names, from celebrities to politicians to royalty, which could place her at serious risk of being silenced to protect people in high places... Especially if you believe the conspiracy theories about Jeffrey Epstein's fate.

In this episode, Luke details the most recent news concerning Ghislaine Maxwell's arrest and its importance to the Epstein case, discussing the likelihood of Maxwell exposing the names involved with Epstein's criminal ring. Calum revisits one of the most high profile individuals implicated in the Epstein case, Prince Andrew of the British Royal Family. Amidst rumours that he and Maxwell shared a close relationship, will her arrest lead to him answering to the serious allegations he has faced through his connection to Epstein? Finally, John addresses the biggest smoking guns in this case, Jeffrey Epstein's untimely death. Did he really commit suicide, or was he silenced to prevent him naming the most high profile names and members of the so-called 'elite' to have been involved in his sex-trafficking organisation.  #
