58. Dating: It's Okay to Only Want Sex28 oct. 202500:23:19

Send us a text

Let’s be real—some people say they’re looking for a relationship when what they really want is sex. And that’s okay. In this episode, we break down the stigma around simply wanting to meet your sexual needs without pretending it’s something deeper. We talk about how honesty—both with yourself and your partners—creates freedom, not shame. Whether you’re exploring hookups, fuck buddies, or friends with benefits, it’s about owning what you want right now instead of hiding behind the idea of a “someday” relationship. Because the truth is, when you stop lying to yourself, you actually get closer to the kind of connection you want—sexual, emotional, or otherwise.

57. The ED Blame Game21 oct. 202500:28:35

Send us a text

In this episode, we call out the excuses, the pills, and the misplaced blame around erectile dysfunction. ED has become the go-to explanation for men’s sexual underperformance—but what if most of it isn’t physical at all? Ryan makes the case that if you can ever get it up, you can always get it up. The real issue isn’t below the belt—it’s in your head.

We unpack how overthinking, shame, and fear of failure can sabotage arousal faster than any medical condition ever could.

This isn’t a bash on men. It’s a wake-up call. Because no pill can fix what’s missing in your connection—or your mindset.

56. First-Time Sex14 oct. 202500:36:09

Send us a text

Ever notice how first-time sex feels amazing? We all know someone who swears their first time with every new partner is mind-blowing. But here’s the thing—first-time sex is almost always good. The bar is low, the oxytocin is high, and the brain is drunk on novelty. In this episode, we share a real-life story of someone who keeps getting hooked after the first night and uncover what’s really happening beneath the sheets.

We review the oxytocin effect—that powerful bonding hormone that can make you feel deeply connected after sex—and explain why you shouldn’t mistake chemistry for compatibility. Then, we shift gears and talk about what it actually means to be a Next-Level Man: the kind who invests in the experience with lube, towels, toys, and thoughtfulness.

55. The Oxytocin Effect: Emotional Attachment During Sex07 oct. 202500:54:30

Send us a text

They call it the love hormone for a reason. In this episode, we explore the oxytocin effect—how this powerful neurochemical shapes your connection, trust, bonding, and even post-sex emotions. Ryan and Lexie unpack why oxytocin hits differently for women and men, why it can make some people attach too quickly (or not at all), and how to build a relationship that honors this chemistry without being ruled by it.

From the science of cuddling and orgasm to the real-life stories that reveal how oxytocin impacts attraction and attachment, this conversation will change how you think about love, lust, and everything in between.

54. Dom/sub Energy: Polarity in the Bedroom30 sept. 202500:34:11

Send us a text

In this episode, we cover dom and sub energy. Outside of sex, feminine and masculine energy needs to be fluid and balanced within each partner to keep relationships thriving. But inside the bedroom, polarity—dom/sub dynamics—is best for compatibility.

53. Staying in Good Sexual Shape23 sept. 202500:45:25

Send us a text

Your sexual health isn’t just about the here and now—it’s about staying vibrant, connected, and fulfilled throughout every stage of life. In this episode, we talk about what it takes to stay in good sexual shape well into your later years.

We talk openly about the impact of menopause, testosterone loss, and the changes that come with aging—and more importantly, what you can do about them. From mindset shifts to practical strategies, we share ideas that can help you maintain a thriving sex life, deepen connection with your partner, and keep pleasure alive no matter your age.

If you’ve ever wondered how to navigate the natural changes of your body without giving up your sexual vitality, this conversation is for you.

52. Foreplay All Day™17 sept. 202500:42:22

Send us a text

Foreplay doesn’t start when you touch each other—it starts the moment your last sex session ends. In this episode, we explore how Foreplay All Day™ shows up in real life. From lingering kisses in the morning to playful texts during the day, to the small choices we make in how we show up for each other, we share real-world examples that keep the spark alive long before sex is even on the table.

We talk about why you can’t just switch from dishes and deadlines to sex and expect fireworks, how to create intentional build-up, and why foreplay isn’t always about sex at all. Sometimes it leads to sex, sometimes it doesn’t—but either way, it deepens connection and sets the stage for better intimacy, sex, and more fun together.

Even we sometimes miss the mark when we forget to be intentional, and we’ll share what we’ve learned so you can turn everyday moments into foreplay that lasts all day (and night).

51. How Patriarchy Controls Sexuality09 sept. 202500:29:24

Send us a text

Who really controls our sexuality—and why? In this episode, we pull back the curtain on how patriarchy shapes sexual norms, gender expectations, and even the stories we tell ourselves about desire and pleasure. From double standards in sexual freedom to the policing of women’s bodies, we explore the hidden systems that dictate what’s deemed acceptable.

We also dive into how these power dynamics silence authentic expression, limit pleasure, and fuel shame—and most importantly, what it takes to break free. If you’ve ever wondered why sexuality feels like it comes with so many rules, judgments, and unspoken limits, this conversation will give you a new lens on reclaiming sexual sovereignty.

50. WTF Is Sex Appeal?02 sept. 202500:50:44

Send us a text

Why do some people—without trying—pull attention like a gravitational force, while others, just as beautiful, go unnoticed?

In this episode, we dive into the intangible but unmistakable energy of sex appeal. We’re not talking about push-up bras, six-packs, or thirst traps. We’re talking about the vibe—the body language, the presence, the openness, the subtle energetic “yes” that invites attention without saying a word.

If you’ve ever wondered why certain people seem to exude sex—even when they’re not trying—and how to develop that kind of magnetism without performing or seeking attention, this one’s for you.

49. Sexualization vs. Oversexualization26 août 202500:27:03

Send us a text

A grown-ass woman being shamed in public for what she's wearing...

This episode is a full-on truth bomb about how society polices bodies, labels sexual energy as “inappropriate,” and completely misses the point.

We dive into the difference between sexualization and oversexualization, and how context, consent, and control write the script. Lexie shares her experience, and Ryan brings the research receipts—what the APA says, what the objectification experts found, and why most people’s discomfort isn’t about what they’re seeing, but where and how they’re seeing it.

Spoiler: the problem isn’t the beachwear. It’s the culture.

We’ll challenge you to rethink what’s actually NSFW, why oversexualization erases humanity, and how to reclaim your body and your power on your own damn terms.

48. Keeping the Heat in Long-Term Relationships19 août 202500:13:35

Send us a text

How do you keep the fire burning when you’ve been with the same person for years—or even decades? In this episode, we dive into Esther Perel’s wisdom on sustaining passion in long-term relationships. We reveal the three things erotic couples do for keeping desire alive and explore how to apply them in real life (yes, even when life feels more like carpools and deadlines than candlelight and lingerie).

Whether you’re looking to reignite the flames or want to future-proof your LTR, this episode strikes a match so you can keep things hot for the long run.

47. The Relationship/Sex Trope IRL12 août 202500:18:59

Send us a text

You’ve seen it. You’ve probably lived it. The classic relationship/sex trope—where women seem desperate for a relationship and men seem desperate for sex—playing out in real time. In this episode, we share two fresh, real-world examples we just witnessed that had us shaking our heads.

We break down how these default drives lead people to skip the critical steps (like our 7 Bridges) and jump headfirst into mismatched relationships. The result? Regret, unmet needs, and that “what the hell was I thinking?” moment.

This isn’t about blaming men or women—it’s about understanding the patterns, spotting the red flags, and breaking the cycle before you’re knee-deep in something that doesn’t actually work for you.

If you’ve ever rushed into something because it met one big need but ignored all the others, this episode is your wake-up call.

46. The Hypersexualization of Female Breasts05 août 202500:14:36

Send us a text

Why is it totally normal for men to walk around shirtless—but women get censored, scolded, or even arrested for the same thing? In this episode, we chat about the double standard around the human chest. We all have nipples—so why are some considered scandalous while others are just...there?

We unpack the roots of breast sexualization, how it varies across cultures, countries, and time, and why society still polices the female-presenting body. From media to law to religion, we’re exploring how breasts became a battleground for morality, shame, and control.

It’s time to challenge the gaze, question the rules, and start seeing nipples for what they really are. Tune in for a smart, funny, and unapologetically honest conversation that’ll make you rethink everything you thought you knew about boobs.

45. Why Women May Not Want-or Like-Sex as Much as Men Do29 juil. 202500:33:25

Send us a text

In this episode, we discuss the real culprits behind low libido in women: the crushing weight of the mental load, hormonal shifts and body changes (including menopause), and the long-lasting impact of sexual trauma, abuse, and rape. We also explore the lover/mother trope, a common scenario where women act as caregivers to their male partners while simultaneously losing attraction for them. Do you often feel like your male partner is just another one of the kids? Talk about a clit killer.

This conversation crushes the myth that women are simply less sexual. We expose the physical, cultural, emotional, and psychological barriers that block desire—and offer a new, more liberating way forward.

44. Is Your Partner Your #1 Priority?22 juil. 202500:16:17

Send us a text

Ever felt like you're coming in fourth place in your own relationship? In this episode, we’re calling out a common dynamic that quietly kills connection: when your partner isn’t your top priority.

We dive into why so many people say things like “my kids come first” or “work is just crazy right now” — and how those priorities, while understandable, can leave a partner feeling unseen and undervalued. Ryan shares a couple of real-life examples where he found himself behind not just the kids and the job, but the horse. Ouch.

Together, we unpack what it really means to prioritize your partner and why that doesn’t mean neglecting your kids, career, or self.

43. How To Use Relationship Types IRL15 juil. 202500:40:48

Send us a text

From late-night hookups to long-term partners, relationships come in all shapes, vibes, and complexities. In this episode, we break down the real-life differences between hookups, fuck buddies, friends with benefits, and actual partners. What makes each one work—or not? How do you know when something shifts from casual to committed (or when it really shouldn’t)? We share personal stories from our own experiences to unpack the pros, cons, and everything in between. Whether you're navigating casual dating or looking for your forever person, this episode will help you name what you're doing... and maybe what you really want, as well as teach you how to do it.

42. "What are you looking for?"08 juil. 202500:19:07

Send us a text

On this episode, we discuss why this seemingly innocent first-contact question can derail authentic connection before it even begins.

We talk about the pressure to define your entire romantic future over coffee, why answering too specifically can attract chameleons instead of real compatibility, and how to stay grounded in your truth without oversharing.

Plus, we share our own experiences about navigating this question and why a little mystery might be your best filter. If you’ve ever felt like someone became exactly who you said you were looking for—and then materialized as something else—you’re gonna want to tune in.

Let’s talk dating with intention... and a touch of strategic vagueness.

41. The Relationship Between Mental Load and Arousal01 juil. 202500:36:22

Send us a text

Carrying mental load isn’t just exhausting—it’s arousal’s silent killer. In this episode, we unpack how the never-ending cognitive effort of planning, monitoring, assigning, managing, and emotional caretaking can shut down the body’s ability to feel turned on. When the brain is overloaded with a constant to-know list, there’s no space for desire to thrive.

We explore the neurological and emotional effects of mental load on sexual response, especially for women, who've been socially conditioned to be caregivers. You’ll learn why even the most loving relationship can hit an intimacy wall when the mental burden isn’t shared. If you’ve ever thought, “I’m too tired to even think about being in the mood,” this episode is your aha moment.

40. How To Do a Bridge Inspection: The 7 Bridges of a Solid Relationship™ IRL24 juin 202500:32:33

Send us a text

In this episode, we put The 7 Bridges of a Solid Relationship to the ultimate test—real life. Ryan opens up about the relationship that inspired the entire 7 Bridges framework and walks through a full "bridge inspection" using this past connection. Was there attraction? A bias for communication? Emotional availability? A safe haven? Sexual compatibility? Intimacy?

Using personal storytelling and practical examples, we show exactly how to evaluate a relationship—past or present. If you're navigating a current relationship, tune in! And if you're reflecting on a past one that didn’t work out, this episode helps you understand why... and what to do differently next time.

39. Why That Little Pill Isn't Solving All Your Sex Problems17 juin 202500:26:30

Send us a text

In this episode, we explore the widespread belief that a little blue pill can solve everything in the bedroom. It’s not that simple. While Viagra (and similar ED medications like Cialis and Levitra) have helped millions of men with erection issues, we dig deeper into why these drugs miss the mark when it comes to treating the psychological, emotional, and relational roots of sexual dysfunction.

We talk libido vs. arousal, performance anxiety, emotional blocks, and the unspoken truth that many men don’t just need blood flow—they need headspace, heart connection, and real intimacy. And what about women? Can these meds work for them? We all have erectile-based parts and the need for blood flow.

If you've ever taken an ED med and still felt off, you're not alone. We’ll help you understand why, and how to reconnect with your partner and your own sexual energy in a more holistic, sustainable way.

38. Squirting10 juin 202500:27:07

Send us a text

There’s not a lot of information out there about squirting. Most of what’s online barely scratches the surface. So in this episode, we deliver.

We share what we’ve personally learned and achieved through experience, the prerequisites that up your chances of squirting, and why we now believe that the body’s capacity to squirt is unlimited (yep, you read that right). We share why keeping a sex journal is important if you want to make serious progress.

Whether you’re curious, trying to learn, or supporting a partner, this episode will give you insights you won’t find on Google.

37. Bridge 7 - Secure Base™03 juin 202500:27:52

Send us a text

In this episode, we cover Bridge 7 of our 7 Bridges framework: Secure Base. Unlike the other bridges, Secure Base isn’t worked on directly—it’s what naturally emerges when the other six bridges are strong: Attraction, Bias for Communication, Emotional Availability, Safe Haven, Sexual Compatibility, and Intimacy.

We talk about what a secure base looks and feels like in a relationship, why so many people chase it without knowing how to create the conditions for it, and how to recognize when you’ve finally arrived. This is where the relationship shifts from chemistry and connection to stability and security.

36. From Shirtless to Scandalous: The Power of Context27 mai 202500:24:42

Send us a text

Why is a man shirtless at the pool totally normal, but wearing a BDSM harness in public is inappropriate? It's not about the skin. In this episode, we expose the power of context—how cultural conditioning and oversexualization shape what we consider acceptable, especially when it comes to the human body. From media double standards to why sex makes us uncomfortable but violence doesn’t, we explore how societal norms dictate desire, shame, and self-expression. If you’ve ever wondered why nipples cause controversy but blood and gore get a pass, this one’s for you.

35. Relationship Types20 mai 202500:41:33

Send us a text

Are you stuck in the mindset that every person you date has to be your everything or nothing? Are you in scarcity mode or abundance? Do you have an agenda with dating? Are you hoping everyone is the one? In this episode, we break down the differences between hookups, fuck buddies, friends with benefits, and partners. Whether you’re wanting to keep it casual or looking for your person, understanding and utilizing these relationship types can make the dating process so much more enjoyable and fulfilling.

34. Society's Position on Masturbation Throughout the Ages13 mai 202500:20:18

Send us a text

In this episode, we dive deep into the fascinating (and oftentimes cringe-worthy) past of self-pleasure, from the days when it was considered a dangerous defect to today’s era of self-empowerment. We now know that masturbation is a normal and healthy part of development, and that the practice lends to better health, confidence, and clit-mind/dick-mind connection, thus leading to better sex all around.

33. All About That Clit06 mai 202500:21:42

Send us a text

Think you know the clitoris? Think again. In this eye-opening episode, we dive deep into the real history and anatomy of the most misunderstood organ in human existence. Spoiler alert: the full structure of the clit wasn’t even mapped out until 1998. Yeah—nineteen ninety-eight.

We’ll break down what makes the clitoris so damn special and why it’s key to better sex for everyone. Whether you're rocking one or fucking someone who does, this episode is your guide to clitoral confidence, sexual satisfaction, and finally giving this powerhouse organ the attention it deserves.

32. Good Vibes Only29 avr. 202500:42:28

Send us a text

In this episode, we’re bringing you all the buzz as we thrust into the fascinating history of dildos and vibrators — from ancient brass, wood, and leather tools (yes, really) to the power tools cluttering your nightstand. We explain why sex toys are accessories, not replacements, and why bringing a little battery-powered fun into the bedroom can actually heat things up with your partner. If you think toys are just for solo nights, think again. It's time to turn up the good vibes!

31. Bridge 6 - Intimacy™22 avr. 202500:41:05

Send us a text

In this episode, we break down Bridge 6 - Intimacy—and no, we’re not talking about sex. Sex is a physical exchange. Intimacy is an emotional exchange. The two sometimes overlap, but not nearly as often as people think. To help listeners differentiate, we share example of sex devoid of intimacy, intimacy devoid of sex, and intimate sex (when the two overlap).

We explain what intimacy really is: knowing deeply and being deeply known. Intimacy is the Christmas Day of relationships. When we conflate sex and intimacy, we cheapen intimacy, which is a crucial part of any solid relationship.

30. Sex Positions & Staving Off Boredom15 avr. 202500:53:55

Send us a text

In this episode, we break down the pros and cons of the most common sex positions—missionary, doggy, cowgirl, and more. What are the advantages and limitations of each?

If you’ve been cycling through the same 3 positions since 2017…don’t worry, we got you. About halfway through, we shift gears into ideas for when you're bored—ways to mix it up, get creative, and bring some playful energy back into your sex life. We cover everything from changing locations to creating an atmosphere to role playing and more.

This one’s part practical, part playful, and 100% real talk about what actually happens in real bedrooms—not porn sets.

29. The Next-Level Man08 avr. 202500:54:36

Send us a text

What does it mean to be a next-level man?

A next-level man doesn't need or want a caregiver or sex worker for a partner. He's emotionally mature, relationally intelligent, and influenced by both his feminine and masculine energy. We’re talking about true partnership: the kind where no one’s carrying more of the load (mental or task), where there's a bias for communication, and where weaponized incompetence isn't an excuse.

Push play if you want to evolve from “good guy” to next-level man.

28. Tripping the Breaker™ —How to Achieve Sustained, Powerful—Even Electrifying—Orgasms01 avr. 202500:22:40

Send us a text

Ever powered up into an orgasm—only to trip the breaker on your clit or dick because things got too intense? In this episode, we talk about what happens when the clitoris or penis gets overstimulated to the point that everything has to stop. Honestly, this has become the norm, what's expected, the old one-and-done orgasm. What else is there, right?

We break down the concept of the “sexual breaker,” why overstimulation happens (especially to the clit), and how the experience mirrors the refractory period men experience. But here’s the thing: we’ve learned that this power outage doesn’t have to happen—not for her, not for him, not for anyone.

With the right warm-up, attunement, and communication, you can create an experience that powerfully flows for hours with multiple orgasms (for penis owners too) instead of short-circuits. Whether you're a vulva owner or a penis owner, understanding why your body cuts the power—and how to prevent that from happening—will produce sustained, incredibly powerful—even electrifying—orgasms.

27. Bridge 5 - Sexual Compatibility™—Frequency, Activity, and Style25 mars 202500:27:18

Send us a text

There's a difference between sexual attraction (step 2 on bridge 1) and sexual compatibility (bridge 5). You may feel a desire to fuck someone, but that doesn't mean you're compatible. On the other hand, you may be sexually compatible with someone but have zero fire between the two of you.

Bridge 5 includes three steps; frequency, activity, and style. In this episode, we explain what these three steps entail. We determine what sexual compatibility means in a relationship, how to know if you’re actually sexually compatible with your partner, and what to do if you find you're not.

26. People Pleasing in Sex and Relationships18 mars 202500:28:59

In this episode, we’re tackling people-pleasing in sex and relationships—why we do it, how it impacts intimacy, and how it may indicate incompatibility. From faking pleasure to avoiding conflict, we explore the consequences of putting someone else’s desires above your own.

Join us as we share personal stories that distinguish the difference between toxic self-sacrifice and loving your partner.

25. Exhibitionism & Voyeurism11 mars 202500:39:01

Ever fantasized about being watched while you’re in the act? Or maybe the idea of watching people bang it out turns you on? Exhibitionism and voyeurism are two of the most common kinks out there, but most people don’t talk about them—until now.

In this episode, we candidly discuss what it actually means to be an exhibitionist or voyeur. We chat about the sexual thrill of being seen and seeing, and share our own discoveries about where we land on these kinky spectrums. We consider what makes exhibitionism and voyeurism so exciting, why they’re more common than you think, and how they can add an electrifying edge to your sex life.

23. THE Formula for Sexual Mastery™25 févr. 202500:38:09

Send us a text

Master your sexuality. We don't mean master, as in, conquer or overcome, suggesting there comes a point where one has nothing more to learn. We mean master, as in, acting instead of being acted upon, having the upper hand on sex, showing expert skill, ability, or knowledge. Do you want to be a person eminently skilled in sex-a person who directs and controls, who wields their own sexuality as opposed to throwing their experience to the wind and hoping for a successful night?

A plus B minus C = Sexual Mastery

Tune into the episode to find out the variables that will allow you to be the master of your own sexuality.

22. Bridge 4 - Safe Haven™18 févr. 202500:35:11

Send us a text

Ever feel like you're walking on eggshells in a relationship? Or maybe you've been with someone who made you feel truly safe—like you could be your full, unfiltered self? That’s the power of a Safe Haven, and in this episode, we’re breaking down exactly why emotional security is everything in a relationship.

We talk about what it actually looks like when you have a Safe Haven and why it’s one of the most crucial bridges in the 7 bridges framework. We explain how couples need a bias for communication and emotional availability (bridges 2 & 3) if they’re going to make it to bridge 4, Safe Haven. Plus, we’re getting real about what happens when that safety is missing—and how to build the bridge of Safe Haven if you’ve never had it before.

If you’ve ever wondered why some relationships feel like home while others feel like emotional battlefields, this episode is for you. Let’s talk about how to recognize a Safe Haven, how to become one for your partner, and why this bridge is the keystone of any solid relationship.

21. NRE vs. A Solid Relationship11 févr. 202500:36:06

Send us a text

Ever felt that intoxicating rush of a new romance—the butterflies, the obsessive thoughts, the can’t-keep-your-hands-off-each-other phase? That’s New Relationship Energy (NRE), and while it’s exciting, it’s also temporary. In this episode, we break down the difference between getting swept away by NRE versus building a solid relationship that actually lasts.

We explore:
Why society (and religion) push people into commitments way too soon
What happens when the NRE fades and you’re left without a solid relationship
How the 7 Bridges framework helps you build a relationship that doesn’t crumble when the honeymoon phase ends

Too many couples mistake infatuation for deep compatibility—only to find themselves in a mess when the high wears off. We’re here to help you avoid that trap and build something real.

20. The Dynamics of Femininity and Masculinity04 févr. 202500:33:33

Send us a text

What does it really mean to be feminine or masculine? And who decided the rules, anyway? In this episode, we break down societal norms around femininity and masculinity—where they come from, how they shape our identities, and why so many of them are total BS. We dive into the biases that keep people stuck in rigid gender roles and challenge the idea that certain traits belong to one gender or another.

Plus, we’re tackling the ugly truth about homophobia and the way it’s often rooted in outdated, toxic ideas of what’s “manly” or “womanly.” From emotional expression to sexual preferences, we unpack how these biases show up in relationships, dating, and the bedroom.

It’s time to deconstruct the gender binary and reclaim the full spectrum of human expression. Tune in for an eye-opening, no-holds-barred conversation.

18. What If You Can't Have Intercourse?21 janv. 202500:33:56

Send us a text

What happens when intercourse is off the table? Whether it’s due to a medical procedure, temporary recovery, or a more permanent condition, this situation can feel daunting for couples. In this episode, we tell a story of how the doctor's office completely conflated sex with intercourse and the awkward but needed conversation we initiated to get to the bottom of what the paperwork really meant.

Spoiler alert...the paperwork should've accurately said, 'nothing inside the vagina'. Not a dildo? A finger? Masturbation? No. And so, simply saying 'no sex' isn't clear enough doctor's orders to help people stay safe.

In this episode, we explore creative ways to fuck, deepen connection, and nurture your relationship—without relying on intercourse. We offer ideas and encourage other forms of sex for anyone navigating this challenge, or for anyone else for that matter.

14. How Religion Fucks Sexuality17 déc. 202401:26:20

Religion has long held a front-row seat in shaping society's views on sex—often with devastating consequences. In this episode, we look into the ways religious systems, steeped in patriarchy, have controlled sexuality, perpetuated abuse, and left lasting scars on individuals. We discuss how purity culture weaponizes shame, how silence causes harm, and how many are still unlearning damaging lessons about desire, pleasure, and their bodies.

From object lessons about chewed gum and crushed rose petals (damaged goods that can never be the same again) to the opportunistic lack of consent and rampant sexual abuse taking place behind closed church doors, we cover it all.

We talk about why abstinence-only is unhealthy and breeds sexual incompatibility among partners, which ultimately leads to nonfulfillment and unhappiness. We also discuss why many religious folks marry young and fast (hint: our podcast is about sex), the flipped switch idea that sex is a sin the day before your marriage and a commandment the day of, and the constant conflating of sex and procreation by religious leaders.

Reclaim a healthier, freer relationship with sex. Because your body isn't sinful, your pleasure isn’t wrong, and it's time to move past the twisted control.

In this episode, we profess what we believe is THE formula for happiness and success. Before we found each other, we each wrote down our vision of an ideal partner on paper. Then put them away. What happened next was nothing short of magical. Months into our relationship, Lexie found her paper and realized I checked nearly every box. When I unearthed mine, the connection was even more uncanny. Lexie matched my wishes perfectly.

We unpack the powerful formula we discovered through this process, sharing how clarity, intention, and letting go of a false sense of control helped us manifest a love beyond our dreams. Don't miss this transformative conversation about what the universe can do for you when you follow THE formula!

11. The Relationship-Sex Trope™26 nov. 202400:32:47

Send us a text

Welcome back to The Cliteral Truth! In this episode, we dive into a dynamic we see all too often in our coaching practice—the Relationship-Sex Trope. This common pattern in heterosexual M/F relationships involves men and women approaching relationships with different goals but failing to communicate them honestly.

Here’s what we’ve observed: men often prioritize sex but aren’t upfront about it, so they pretend to be looking for a relationship to fast-track their way to Bridge 5—Sexual Compatibility. On the other hand, women tend to want emotional depth and a secure connection, but in the rush to solidify a partner, they’re hopping straight from Bridge 1—Attraction—to Bridge 7—Secure Base, sometimes making a brief stop at Bridge 5 to meet their partner’s needs.

The problem? Both are skipping over the other bridges that are crucial for building a solid relationship. Bridges like Bias for Communication, Emotional Availability, Safe Haven, and Intimacy are completely overlooked, leaving couples struggling to find lasting connection and fulfillment.

In this episode, we unpack why this trope happens, the damage it does, and how to break free from the cycle. We also offer actionable steps for anyone ready to slow down and do the work to build a healthy, authentic relationship.

If you’ve ever wondered why relationships can feel unbalanced or why your expectations aren’t being met, this episode is for you. Join us as we tackle the missteps and help you map out the bridges you can't afford to skip.

Let’s challenge the trope and redefine what it means to build a meaningful relationship!

Through candid conversation and thought-provoking insights, we challenge these outdated norms and advocate for a more equitable view of sexual freedom—one that transcends gender and empowers individuals to embrace their desires and values without judgment. This episode encourages you to question the rules you’ve been taught, confront internalized shame, and reclaim your right to authentic sexual expression.
