They take on the ultimate challenge of picking their best England XI side of the last 30 years and break down their choices for which IPL teams to support this season, and discuss Ben Duckett's surprising decision to opt out of the tournament entirely. The season is back and The Clean Take is back with it.

In Episode 6, Wizard and Fish return for the first episode of the 2025 season, and things kick off with a bang. Their two clubs went head-to-head on Saturday, and there's already drama — Wizard skipped the game for a trip to the Lakes, came back to a fine, and isn't entirely sorry about it. Fish, meanwhile, was being subbed off the gloves after 20 overs and banished to long-on in April mud.

Then the debate gets serious. Are cricket teas dying? Fish thinks so — and he's got plenty to say about it. From COVID quietly killing off the tradition to leagues refusing to enforce it, they go deep on why the proper post-match spread matters and who's to blame for its decline.

We're live from Castleford Cricket Club with special guest Colson Smith and this one's got everything. Colson joined the committee at 15 years old, just in time to watch the club nearly fold. From relegation to a five-year rescue plan scribbled on the back of a Nando's menu, this is the story of how a local club rebuilt itself around three simple words: Cricket, Club, Community.
