He is the one true God meant to be experienced. He is more than enough to conquer our fears, reign over our circumstances and hear our cries.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! – Psalm 100:4 We all live on a continuum between gratitude and entitlement. Do not let this world drag you away from thanksgiving and into despair.

2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. 3 Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. – Psalm 63:2-3 Do you see the gospel as merely practical, or do you see Jesus as beautiful and soul-satisfying? The gospel offers us so much more than a religious belief system that doesn’t end in hell. The gospel offers a beautiful journey of discovering and deepening a relationship with JESUS.

Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. – Psalm 98:1 Worship is an overflow of our grateful response to God for who He is and what He has done.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. – Psalm 51:10 No one is too far gone for the far reaching arms of our gracious God.

10 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” 11 The Lord of hosts is with us… – Psalm 46:10-11 Snatch back your faith from your circumstances and place your faith in the sovereign King of the Universe. Experience His goodness. He is for you. He is with you. He is inside of you. At the cross, He makes the war of our enemy against us cease.

But I call to God, and the Lord will save me. – Psalm 55:16 Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. – Psalm 55:22 God hears our cries and knows our pain. Pour your heart out to the Lord in prayer like it matters more than anything else, because it does.

In this series, we’ve learned who our enemy is. This week, Pastor Joby walks us through understanding who we are in Christ. The Breastplate of Righteousness is a reminder that righteousness comes by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. On the cross, Christ took our unrighteousness upon Himself and gave us His righteousness. There’s more grace in Christ than the sin in us.

How do we leverage all of our lives (family, vocation, culture, etc.) for Your glory?

his delight is in the law of the LORD , and on his law he meditates day and night. – Psalm 1:2 Is your life rooted in God’s word or are you trying to navigate life on your own?

When Jesus was on the cross and said "it is finished" it counted for you.

As we dive deeper into our new series, “Stand Firm”, Pastor Joby teaches through Ephesians 6:14, John 8:-31-47 and John 14:6. We must remember the enemy knows our weaknesses. It’s not IF you’re going to be attacked, but WHEN. But the good news is we do not stand firm in our own strength, we stand firm in God’s. God does not reveal Himself to us so that we can sit and soak it up on the mountain top, but so that we can be sent and serve on mission.

Our enemy, the devil, is the Father of Lies. Do not believe the whispers, but stand on truth of the Word of God. "It is written.."

Jesus did not come to make bad people better or sad people happy. He came to give life to the dead and salvation for sinners.
