I've missed talking to you!! Thank you for sticking around while I've been transitioning from high school to college; definitely been a big change in my life. I want you to view this episode like a conversation between friends over a cup of tea (or water, or coffee, etc.) who haven't talked in a while. I'm giving you an update on my life, especially the spiritual side, and giving you some sisterly advice about how to approach reading the Bible on your own. In all honesty? This is how I would talk to a sister. I pray this encourages you, and reminds you that you aren't alone in your faith!

I mention Matthew 6:33 and Philippians 4:13 pretty briefly, and then talk about memorizing Psalm 4. You should totally take a second and read those on your own. I recommend reading Psalm 4 in the New Living Translation (NLT), as that's the translation the Lord used to comfort and convict me in a season of discouragement.

HAPPY JUNE! Man oh man, I am so glad that it's summertime! It's warm and gorgeous and I just love it. Because we hear about all these tips about how to use your summer to get ready for the next school year, I thought it would be good to talk about fun things that you can do to that force you to be present and intentionally use your time to have godly fun and spend time with others you love. I talk about things to do by yourself, with family, and with friends. It's all fun, but it's only some of what you can be doing over the summer! So, don't get stuck on social media and go enjoy your summer!

This month, I'm challenging all of you to pray especially for a specific group of people each week! (I'm calling it the November Prayer Challenge.) 

Week 1 is for School/Work people, Week 2 is for Friends, Week 3 is for the Sick, Lonely, and Brokenhearted, and Week 4 is for Family.
