5 Ways to Build Know, Like & Trust in 2026 (You Can't Afford to Ignore This!)

Episode 1090

lundi 12 janvier 2026Duration 19:57

If sales feel slower right now, you're not imagining it. In this episode, I'm breaking down the real reason "brand new exposure customers" aren't buying as fast as they used to, and what you must do in 2026 to build know, like, and trust faster than everyone else. Because I'm telling you right now, this year is going to separate the people who get really intentional about trust from the people who stay passive and hope things go back to "normal." I'm giving you my playbook: what to post, where to show up, how to leverage other people's platforms, and why a mind-blowing low-ticket offer might be your biggest growth move of the year.

What You'll Learn In This Episode
  • Why sales from new audiences are moving slower (and what's changed in the market.)

  • What a "trust recession" actually looks like in real business terms.

  • The 5 fastest ways to build know, like, and trust in 2026.

  • Why face-to-camera content matters more than ever (and how to do it imperfectly.)

  • The power of having a platform that creates repetitive exposure (podcast, YouTube, email, text.)

  • How in-person visibility speeds up trust even if you're an introvert.

  • The "Costco sample" strategy: low-ticket offers that convert into high-ticket customers.
The 80/20 shift I'm seeing right now, and how to make sure you're on the winning side.

The Mental Habit That's Quietly Blocking Your Income Growth with Lori Harder

Episode 1089

mercredi 7 janvier 2026Duration 17:39

Worry may feel normal, but it's quietly draining your energy, confidence, and results. In this episode, Lori and I dive into why worry isn't just a habit, it's a signal. A signal that you're operating from fear instead of faith, lack instead of certainty. We talk about how worrying steals time you could be using to create solutions, how it impacts your energy in business and relationships, and why most of the things you stress about never actually happen. We also share exercises to interrupt worry in real time, including how to "play the movie to the end" and how to borrow certainty from people who've already walked the path ahead of you. Get ready to stop feeding worry and start leading your life and business with intention.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Why worry is a sign of misplaced faith.

  • The surprising amount of time worry steals from your life.

  • A 10 minute exercise that exposes how unnecessary most worries are.

  • How worry creates a lack of energy and leads to bad business decisions.

  • The "play the movie to the end" method to dissolve fear.

Should You Add Another Offer Or Just Double Down On One?

Episode 1080

lundi 8 décembre 2025Duration 21:54

Most entrepreneurs don't add new products because it's smart. They add them because they're bored, anxious, or chasing the next dopamine hit. In this episode, I break down the reason creating more offers usually hurts your business instead of helping it. I share the three questions you must answer before adding anything new, why your flagship product deserves 80% of your focus, and how distraction is the fastest way to kill momentum. Get ready to simplify your business, refocus your energy, and scale faster than ever.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The three questions that tell you if it's actually time to create something new.

  • Why "the money is in the monotony" and what that means for your next 24 months.

  • Why adding more products usually decreases your income.

  • One question to see if your current offer can actually scale to your income goals.

  • How boredom quietly kills high-earning businesses.

Proof You Can Create Your Dream Life No Matter Where You're Starting From

Episode 990

mercredi 5 février 2025Duration 19:03

Lori and I took a trip down memory lane over lunch and realized just how much our early struggles shaped who we are today. I used to plow snow in freezing Wisconsin and even cleaned bar bathrooms at 3 AM, while Lori used to wake up at 4 AM to work the drive-thru at a coffee hut. Looking back, we realized those experiences weren't just about survival, they built the work ethic that set us up for success. We also break down the biggest lessons we learned from those years, why most people stay stuck, and the ONE mindset shift that changed everything for us.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The ONE THING you tolerate that determines your success.

  • Common pitfalls that keep most people stuck in life and business.

  • The #1 lesson we learned from our toughest struggles.

  • How I ended up cleaning bars at 3 AM.

  • The real secret to success (it's NOT just working harder).

  • The mindset shift that changed EVERYTHING for us.

89: Three Important Lessons I've Learned from These Billionaires

Episode 89

jeudi 11 janvier 2018Duration 09:31

Some of you may know that some of my favorite books are actual biographies – most specifically of billionaires. I've learned so much by reading about their actual experiences – the wins and fails – and today, I'm going to share my top three lessons I've learned from billionaires Warren Buffett, Elon Musk and Richard Branson.

Lesson No. 1 – In order to get some of your time back and get more done, give yourself permission to say NO to more things.

"The difference between successful people and really successful people is that the really successful people say no to almost everything."  – Warren Buffett

Time is our most valuable asset and it should be invested in the same fashion.

"Invest your time in all the right places."

By saying no, you're gaining back both time and energy, and you're able to get laser focused on the areas that need it. Even if it's gaining back one hour a day, that's getting back just over 15 days in one year! Just think of what you could do with that time with your family and friends.

Lesson No. 2 – Go all in!

"No matter what you've done in the past, you've got to check your ego at the door and be willing to ask for help."

Elon Musk is the perfect example of this as he is so passionate about his dreams/businesses. So much so that he nearly went broke multiple times trying to achieve them. Needless to say, he now has billion-dollar companies and is himself a billionaire.

Lesson No. 3 – Make an impact while living a fun and well-rounded life.

"A life worth living is a life full of well-rounded memories and impact."

Make it a rich, fulfilling and meaningful life without apologizing. Don't make it a life about just your family… or just your business… or just your adventures… Do it all, because how you do anything is how you do everything.

These are three of the lessons I tap into when focusing on how I want to live my life. And no matter how you define success, I'm guessing these three billionaires will pass the test. After all, in my opinion they're all living my motto: "When good people make good money, they do great things."

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • How billionaires Warren Buffet, Elon Musk and Richard Branson have influenced my life and businesses
  • Why saying no to more things is so valuable
  • The importance of going all in
  • Why we should strive to live a well-rounded life with impact

88: Our Plans for Success in 2018 with Lori Harder

Episode 88

lundi 8 janvier 2018Duration 01:00:18

My wife, Lori, is back for another dual podcast! Both of us have been lit over here since ringing in the New Year and we wanted to share some of our thoughts out loud regarding some of the things we've been working on going into 2018 (hint: new eCourse coming in the next couple months).

First and foremost, we've both done a lot of reassessing and have gotten really clear and laser-focused on what we want to see and do this year – individually and as a couple – both in business and in play. Find out what we're working to get rid of and what we're working to align ourselves with more – some things may surprise you! We're putting it all about there in this super candid conversation – you don't want to miss it!

--

Question Highlights:

  • What was something you loved that we did on New Year's Eve?
  • What is something you do to get clear on your goals/intentions?
  • What are your mindset blocks?
  • What is one of the rituals that you're committed to?
  • What are your favorite ways to find tribe?
  • How do you find the energy to keep up with your habits/rituals and how do you stay in the energy to keep doing it?
  • Why should people be unapologetic about their pursuit of wealth and success?

In This Episode We Talk about:

  • Our rituals, how we set goals and how we figure out what the next step will be
  • Getting clear
  • Finding and following the things that light you up
  • Releasing judgment
  • Aligning beliefs with intentions
  • Preventing negative thoughts from taking root and nurturing positive thoughts
  • Chris and Lori's rituals
  • The importance of boundaries to avoid resentment
  • Finding a tribe that helps you think bigger or reinforce positive thoughts
  • Making tiny adjustments one at a time in order to tackle bigger challenges
  • Why play is such a big deal
  • And so much more…

Chris and Lori's Thoughts…

"Clarity is power."

"It's simple, but it's not easy."

"Focus on the impact you're going to make. Anything else robs you of your happiness

and the world of your gifts."

"We don't find our voice in the easy times."

"Create tribe for transition."

"Elevate yourself through the things you enjoy most, which in turn then elevates other people."

"If it brings you happiness and joy – follow it."

"Choose possibilities and expansion over fear."

"Make choices, not excuses."

"Your version of happy is just that."

87: Bust Through This Limiting Belief Once and for All

Episode 87

jeudi 4 janvier 2018Duration 08:56

Today's episode is all about busting through a limiting belief that you may not even know you have. In fact, this very belief may even be holding you back from greater success. Here it is… So many people think that we're supposed to feel good ALL the time on the quest of entrepreneurship. OK, I'm not saying I want you to feel crappy about it, but here are my thoughts on it.

The journey of entrepreneurship isn't supposed to feel good. I know it sounds crazy, but full honesty, a large portion of the time we don't know what we're doing, it feels clunky or awkward and we fail a ton! But unfortunately, we all live in the era of social media where we all see everyone's highlight reels. I'm all for this, because I feel like I'm pretty happy most of the time, but I also know that I feel frustrated, under-motivated or have a ton of work to get done – and I try to share that with my followers as well.

"The wins are not the entire picture of reality."

I feel it is so important to understand the full circle of entrepreneurship – the ups, downs and in-betweens. The problem is that we've all been conditioned to think that when we mess up or haven't gotten it all figured out we think we're doing it wrong. Hint… You're NOT!

Reality check. Think of the person you love to follow on IG. If you think they have X followers, now cut that in half to get the real number. Don't get discouraged! You're figuring it out just like the rest of us. Go into things without abandon and try new things without fear of failure.

"If you're not failing at all, you're probably doing it wrong."

Let's go into 2018 by getting real and sharing all side of entrepreneurship. Use this mantra as a reminder!

"It's OK to be silly, to feel silly and look silly."

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • Why feeling good all the time about entrepreneurship isn't necessarily a guarantee for success
  • What the reality of entrepreneurship really looks like
  • Why we've been conditioned to think we're doing it wrong.

Episode 86

mardi 2 janvier 2018Duration 43:20

I was so excited to connect with today's guest serial entrepreneur and author, Peta Kelly, as we hadn't had a real catch-up in forever. And how amazing is it that it could be timed with her new book, Earth Is Hiring?

Once a self-professed science nerd, Peta followed the pull of her soul into network marketing which soon led to full-on entrepreneurship and she hasn't looked back since. She's now made it her mission to help millennials (and anyone else who gives a sh*t), discover The New Way to Live, Lead, Earn and Give.

Listen in to hear how Peta made the conscious decision to change her personal money story in order to align herself with her soul's purpose, and how you can too. Believe me when I say she makes it sound easy and effortless.

  • What do you mean when you say we're voting with our spending power?
  • How do you feel about money?
  • Why do people have such a hang-up with money?
  • If someone feels out of alignment with their money story, where can they start doing the work?
  • What are we going to learn and discover in your new book?

"Take responsibility for your own money story."

"Real leadership is taking responsibility for your own money story."

--

Peta Kelly's most favourite title is HUMAN AF. She is a conscious entrepreneur, author, speaker and philanthropist. She was recently featured in Forbes Magazine and was just ranked by Inc Magazine in the Top 10 Female Entrepreneurs changing the world.

She's is an unbridled soul and barefoot bandit on a mission to unleash the jeaniius of GenY's globally.

She dropped being a PhD science nerd at the age of 22 and went on the pursuit of that 'thing' that was calling her higher. That's when she found her first business pursuit in network marketing and She became a 7 figure a year earner in Isagenix by the age of 26. Her network marketing journey led her to her bigger, more global soul work and now she's building a global enterprise, Jeaniius – a global hub of nakedly brilliant people, mobilized to create change for our planet through conscious enterprise and magical collaborations.

Peta teaches the new way to live, lead, earn and give and what excites her the most is bringing her brilliant, badass generation together as one team and one family so that we can gift our planet and our kiddies, an environment where they can thrive. A millennial with a love of millennials, Peta speaks on global stages, barefoot, to tens of thousands of people, and to millions through her various platforms, sharing visionary messages of conscious living to move hearts and minds to what's possible.

Self-described as an alien, a "vessel" for what needs to flow through her, Peta is the creator of The New Way Live, Jeaniius and The Supercharged and she's got her first book on the way in early 2018.

Peta was recently featured on The Rise Up movie with Michael Bernard Beckwith, Jack Canfield, Danielle LaPorte, Gabby Bernstein, Marie Forleo, Tony Robbins, The Dalai Lama and more.

She's a new Mum to her beautiful daughter Sol and has now found a new supersized passion for empowering women to create a beautiful pregnancy and birth experience.

85: Eight Words That Cripple Your Success

Episode 85

jeudi 28 décembre 2017Duration 16:54

Words are more powerful than we realize, but today I'm going I'm specifically highlighting eight words that may be crippling your success. We all use them without realizing it and often don't even intend to use them.

So let's start 2018 right and kick the following words out of our vocabulary and watch as you see an uptick in your success.

  • TRY – You'll either do something or you won't. By saying "try" you're already building in an excuse. Do or do not – those are your choices.

  • MAYBE – By using this word, you're telling others that you have no intent on following through, which can lead to feeling overwhelmed. Make this the year of YES or NO – period.

  • SOON – This instantly puts something off until "later." This word is also a wake-up call you've committed to too many things and you must cut what's not serving you.

  • POSSIBLY – The word says, "if I feel like it, I'll do it." You're not fully committed to anything and you're feeling overbooked and stressed. Make a commitment.

  • IF – If means you're putting a condition on following through and that doesn't make you an ideal business partner.

"Nobody wants to be on the other side of your if."

  • BECAUSE – This word acts as a justifier – and excuse. "I can't meet with that person because…" You shouldn't have to talk endlessly about why you can't.

"YES and NO are complete sentences."

  • WANT – This is probably the most important word to kick to the curb… The word indicates lack and if you're a frequent listener, you know we shoot for abundance. Using this word means there's a disconnect between what you want and what you desire.

"Things only appear once you know how to make them certain."

  • LUCKY – Last but still impactful, simply put I don't believe in luck, I believe in good fortune. And using this word puts you in a powerless position.

There you have it! Do you notice these words used frequently in your day-to-day interactions? If so, share with me on IG (@chriswharder) and let me know what you'll replace them with!

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • The eight words that we must eliminate from our vocabulary in 2018
  • Why being certain in your decisions makes you an ideal business partner
  • And much more…

84: What is a Net Positive Business and Why is it the Future with Chris Sukornyk

Episode 84

mardi 26 décembre 2017Duration 37:53

I am so excited to continue a conversation that I had a couple months ago in Costa Rica with serial tech entrepreneur, Chris Sukornyk. Originally from Canada with entrepreneurial parents, entrepreneurship was built into his DNA. With a passion for technology, Chris attended University, but felt the teachings were out of tune with reality. He left, just one credit shy of graduating (his parents still remind him) and built his first business.

Since that time, Chris has founded (and sold) four other businesses and is now focusing on his next endeavor, which is to help create more net positive businesses and help ecopreneurs. I love that he is intent on creating businesses that are in alignment with his passion as well as his core values around the environment and social responsibility.

Listen in to this enlightening episode to find out how net positive entrepreneurship is the up and coming trend to businesses everywhere and how you can make an impact by either creating one or being a part of one.

--

Question Highlights:

  • What's your best entrepreneurial lessons you learned from your parents?
  • With your most recent advertising tech company, how did you go from zero to 170 employees in such a short amount of time?
  • What was the conflict that came up with your advertising tech business?
  • How did you become realigned with it?
  • Do you think you would be this passionate about net positive businesses if you hadn't woken up in a business that wasn't net positive for you?
  • What makes a net positive company different than the old way of doing business?
  • How do you reconcile your dad's advice ("All that matters is sales.") with the impact the company is making?
  • Does building a net positive business present a different set of hurdles than we've seen in the past?
  • How do you want your children to grow up viewing entrepreneurship and money?
  • How do you view money?
  • Do you think it's a masculine trait to pursue wealth or can it be a feminine trait as well?
  • Do you feel that your view of money has shifted since getting out of North America and moving down to Costa Rica?

In This Episode You Will Learn:

  • How Chris came to be such a successful serial tech entrepreneur
  • The importance of connecting with your partners/employees
  • What having a net positive business means
  • How Chris navigated his business when he had lost his passion for it
  • What an ecopreneur is
  • How businesses impact the environment and why they need to minimize it
  • Why people want to hear about the founder or story behind a product
  • Why it's crucial to find investors who are aligned with your passion
  • Why we need socially minded startups who compete/challenge legacy businesses that are doing damage in the world
  • How we can integrate giving back into our lives and the businesses we create
  • And so much more…

Chris's Thoughts…

"The Zero to Hero Life of a Serial Entrepreneur: Either hit it out of the park or one day before the sale, everything could fall apart."

"If your business is aligned with your passion, you're never tired."

"There's nothing wrong with having nice things, but we have to be aware of the impact we're making."

"There has to be more – you have to give back."

"Money is just a vehicle that has value and it can be exchanged for different things."

"Good things are at the end of dirt roads."

--

Chris is a serial entrepreneur having founded and sold five tech startups with combined exits of more than $250 million. In 2015, Chris was recognized by Ernst & Young as the provincial winner of the Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

A lifelong environmentalist and father of four, Chris recently relocated from Toronto to Costa Rica and is now focused on investing and advising "ecopreneurs," founders with a vision to better the world through sustainable, mindful and socially conscious products and services.
