Welcome to The Business Spotlight Show.
Today, we’re featuring a leader who’s not just building a company—he’s building the future of clean energy across Latin America.
This is the story of Mounir Kabche.
Born in Venezuela and raised with a strong sense of purpose, Mounir grew up in a family that valued education, ambition, and global thinking. From a young age, he was curious—especially about finance and technology. That curiosity would later evolve into a vision far bigger than himself.
He studied at the University of Florida, earning a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship. It was there he sharpened his leadership skills and learned the mechanics of business building—lessons that would prove critical in the years ahead.
But it wasn’t Wall Street or Silicon Valley that called to him. It was Puerto Rico.
Mounir saw the island not just as a beautiful place to live—but as a strategic opportunity to solve real problems. Puerto Rico’s energy crisis needed more than a quick fix. It needed transformation.
That’s where Conexsol Puerto Rico was born.
Under Mounir’s leadership, Conexsol designs and manages solar energy systems that are sustainable, cost-effective, and built to last. The company is helping Puerto Rico transition toward clean energy—making solar not just an option, but the standard.
One of their most ambitious projects is a six-megawatt solar plant—designed to power key infrastructure and serve as a model for energy innovation across the Caribbean.
But this isn’t just about technology. Mounir’s work fuels economic growth, too. His companies create jobs, attract investment, and empower local communities—ensuring the impact reaches far beyond the grid.
At the heart of it all is his entrepreneurial philosophy:
Take smart risks. Build great teams. Prioritize cash flow. Think creatively. And always, always plan for the long term.
He believes leadership isn’t just about vision—it’s about people. He invests in culture, mentorship, and systems that help his teams thrive.
