On today’s show we discuss the busy weekend that was in college football. Topics of conversation include the mammoth job opening at Texas A&M that was left in the wake of Jimbo Fisher’s record buyout. We also recap the titanic Big 10 East matchup between Michigan and Penn State and discuss the fallout from that.

Adam and Tom also discuss some of their favorite narratives that have developed over the first 1/10th of the NBA season, including the winless Harden Clippers.

Next, the co-hosts get into their usual NFL discussion where they each picked one storyline, one surprise, and one disappointment from the most recent weekend of NFL action. In addition, they each pick a game(s) to look forward to for next weekend.

We then pivot to the highs and lows of the college football season. We're talking big games, big plays, and big surprises. From Georgia's clash with South Carolina and Florida's triumph over Tennessee to Florida State's narrow victory over Boston College, we cover it all. We reflect on the impact of Spencer Rattler's transfer to South Carolina and the crucial role played by Tennessee’s Jaylen Hyatt in the Giants' comeback.

But that's not all, folks. We cast the spotlight on Alabama's offensive line issues and the stellar play of Heisman candidate Michael Penix Jr for the Washington Huskies.
