Can’t Keep It Up in Court: RHUGT: Porsha Williams v. Simon Defamation Lawsuit14 oct. 202600:55:48

Legal team, we are continuing our series on the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip ladies and also closing out our discourse on Porsha Williams, RHOA star, and her legal cases. If you haven’t listened to last week’s episode, we go through her divorces from both Kordell Stewart and Simon Guobadia. On the docket this week is Porsha’s defamation lawsuit that Simon filed against her, which overlaps with the divorce timeline. In July 2024, Porsha posted four slides on her Instagram stories, to her 7.7 million followers at the time, sharing information on erectile dysfunction with the hashtag #menshealthawareness only months after her and Simon filed for divorce. Even though Simon was not named in the posts, blogs took it and ran with it, as well as the public, and later that year, Simon filed a federal complaint against Porsha asserting defamation per say, infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy. We’re diving into Simon’s complaint, Porsha’s counter-arguments, and where this lawsuit currently stands.

What’s on the docket?

  • Porsha and Simon’s traditional Nigerian Edo native custom ceremony
  • Simon’s federal defamation complaint against Porsha
  • Simon’s detainment and deportation
  • Our conflicting opinions on whether or not Simon had a right to file this lawsuit
  • What is needed to prove defamation
  • Porsha’s motion to dismiss, Simon’s amended complaint, and Porsha’s renewed motion to dismiss
  • Truth is an absolute defense and false statement of fact arguments
  • Porsha’s discovery requests
  • Porsha’s motion to compel discovery and Simon’s objections
  • False light invasion of privacy claim
  • What is a transactional attorney
  • The Court's final order
  • Importance of staying in your lane as a lawyer

Legal team, Cesie is here to continue our Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip series on behalf of the show’s ‘Roaring 20th’ special. On the docket this week, Cesie is giving updates on both Vicki Gunvalson and Lisa Barlow’s legal issues. We’ve covered all of these before (prior episodes linked below), but more has unfolded in both housewives’ cases. Cesie breaks down what happened between Vicki’s company, Coto Insurance, and plaintiff, one of her clients. Is this a case of bad financial consulting, or even elder abuse? Plus Vicki is now trying to bring her OWN claims against her client! Then Cesie dives into Lisa’s legal trouble with her brand Vida Tequila. In Lisa’s Watch What Happens Live appearance and at the Dismissed Lunch, she stated that all of the legal cases against her had been dismissed, but in doing some late-night digging, Cesie figured out that there might be more to the story.

Below Deck Star Wanted: Nathan Gallagher16 sept. 202600:48:44

TRIGGER WARNING: Domestic violence. Resources linked below.

Legal team, Angela is solo today and taking a detour from the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip lawsuit and legal issues coverage to talk about Below Deck. There has been a lot going on this season of Below Deck Mediterranean regarding the former bosun Nathan Gallagher and what is unraveling in real time for his legal partner Gael Cameron. Despite Nathan Gallagher’s criminal offenses taking place before filming Season 11 of Below Deck, Angela shares why she doesn’t think it’s production’s fault for missing this information in his background check. But since this information has come to light, Bravo has terminated Nathan, and Angela explains why it’s only a matter of time before he is caught.

200 Episodes: Answering Your Bravo Questions09 sept. 202600:55:47

Legal team, in honor of our 200th episode, we thought it would be fun to answer your questions (from Instagram and Patreon) and give you our honest, unfiltered thoughts. We entertain some Bravo hypotheticals—which housewife would we love to represent in court? If we could subpoena the unedited footage from any single Bravo event, what would we choose and what would we hope it proves? Which housewives would we send to jail (for non criminal reasons)? And answer juicy questions like have we ever had a housewife reach out and be angry at our coverage? Who sent us a cease and desist letter? What topics do we stray away from? How do we feel about Erika now? And we also give Bravo some ideas on how they could partner with us in their content. Thank you all for your questions! We’ll do a part 2 soon!

What’s on the docket?

  • How we started the podcast
  • Personal updates since starting the podcast
  • The cases we wish we could have been involved in
  • Our ideal housewife clients
  • What unedited footage we would subpoena from a Bravo event
  • The non Bravo cases we would have loved to cover
  • What case outcome we both disagree with
  • Our continued frustrations with Erika
  • The biggest mistake that Bravo housewives make
  • The most shocking story we’ve covered
  • The housewives we’d love to send to jail
  • Who has reached out to us and been angry at our coverage
  • The bravo celeb we’re most cautious about speaking on because they’re litigious
  • Topics we stray away from
  • What our primary goal is for the podcast and our future plans

RHUGT: Kyle, Mauricio, and Jesse Lally02 sept. 202600:56:39

Legal team, we are continuing on in our Ultimate Girls Trip Roaring 20th series where we cover the various legal issues that each of the housewives involved in this show have been tied to. On the docket this week, we are moving from Teresa to Kyle…but really, Mauricio. Are they getting divorced or not? We give you guys an update on the case regarding the Sweetwater property, which then turned into this other case where there was a qui tam action that was filed (we’ll explain what that is). For our fans of The Valley, we get into the loan Michelle accussed Jesse of taking out and spending fraudulently. We break down what small business loans are used for, and speculate about what could happen to Jesse if the government found out he used his Economic Injury Disaster Loan to pay for personal, luxury expenses. We also touch on the Kim and Kyle eviction, and why we hate that photo being circulated right now. Leave Kim alone!

What’s on the docket?

  • Jesse Lally’s small business loan
  • Michelle’s allegations against Jesse
  • Our thoughts on The Valley
  • What could happen if you spend the loan on personal expenses
  • A recap of Mauricio's real estate lawsuit
  • The PPP qui tam action against Mauricio and The Agency
  • Our thoughts on why Kyle and Mauricio aren’t getting divorced
  • Recap and update on the Kyle and Kim Richard’s eviction

RHUGT: Teresa Giudice Is Rewriting History26 août 202600:43:22

Legal team, on the docket this week we’re revisiting one of our favorite cases…because she just can’t stop saying that she did nothing wrong. Conspiracy to obtain mortgage loans through fraud and misrepresentations, bankruptcy fraud through concealment of assets and false declarations, and failure to file income taxes…of course, we are talking about Teresa Giudice, former cast member of Real Housewives of New Jersey and current cast member of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. This episode is the first part of a series we’re starting in conjunction with the RHUGT Roaring 20th. Bankruptcy, loan allegations, indictments, guilty plea sentencing, prison, Joe’s deportation…we’ve covered it all before. This will not be as in-depth as our previous episodes on Teresa, but we’ll be laying out the facts as we respond to what she’s been saying to the press (and on RHUGT), and reminding you of how it all went down back in 2014. We will not let her rewrite history and spin this false narrative that she was “made an example.” Previous episodes on Teresa linked below!

The Chrisleys' Malpractice Lawsuit Against Former Defense Attorneys19 août 202600:52:24

Legal team, it’s been a little over a year since our last series on Todd and Julie Chrisley. In our previous episodes on the Chrisleys, we gave a detailed timeline on how everything unfolded, including how they became reality TV stars in the first place. Those episodes will be linked below. But in summary, the Chrisleys conspired with their former business partner to defraud Atlanta area community banks out of more than $30 million in personal loans, and they were fully convicted in a jury trial in 2023. In 2025, Todd and Julie were granted full executive pardons releasing them from federal custody. • Key findings from Clayton Echard’s bench trial and why the judge questioned Laura's credibility

From Roses to Restraining Orders: The Traitors’ Colton Underwood 28 janv. 202600:49:14

Legal Team, we’re heading to Scotland… by way of The Bachelor and a very disturbing real-life paper trail. This week we break down the restraining order filed by Cassie Randolph against former Bachelor Colton Underwood, whose alleged stalking behavior included harassing texts, anonymous burner numbers, and a tracking device found taped to her car. We walk through the court filings, the receipts, and how it all connects to the carefully managed public image he presents today on The Traitors. This isn’t just reality TV drama — it’s a sobering look at coercion, control, and how legal systems handle stalking cases.

What’s on the Docket?

  • How Colton Underwood went from Bachelor lead to restraining order respondent
  • The alleged stalking behavior, including burner texts and messages sent to himself
  • The tracking device discovered taped underneath Cassie’s car
  • How California law defines stalking and why these cases are hard to prosecute
  • Why the restraining order was ultimately dismissed and what that legally means

What RHOSLC Didn’t Show You About Britani Bateman14 janv. 202600:54:01

Trigger Warning: Discussions of sexual assault.

It’s a new year and we’re back, Legal Team. We’re kicking things off by unpacking one of the messiest and most layered legal stories to come out of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. This episode dives into Britani Bateman’s off-screen legal history, including her past disputes with her ex-husband, and how that relationship provides critical context for who she is and what we saw play out this season. We also break down Jared Osmond’s own messy divorce proceedings, the broader Osmond family background, and why that name carries real weight in Utah’s legal and social circles. Between sealed filings, overlapping disputes, and unresolved tensions, this is a saga that feels far from finished.

What’s on the Docket?

  • How Britani’s relationship with her ex adds context to her on-screen behavior
  • The Osmond family background and their influence in Utah
  • Jared Osmond’s messy divorce and related legal fallout
  • Why recent developments suggest this saga isn’t finished

Todd Nepola’s Million-Dollar Meltdown 29 oct. 202500:55:04

Things are heating up in Miami! Alexia Echevarria’s ex-husband, Todd Nepola, has traded reality TV for the real courtroom, suing Bravo for defamation. We’re breaking down his lawsuit, his Instagram outbursts, and what exactly he’s seeking in damages. From claims of producer manipulation to his obsession with how he’s portrayed on screen, we’re unpacking why this legal move may have done him more harm than good — because honestly, we might’ve forgotten about Todd (and his on-screen behavior) completely if he hadn’t filed this lawsuit.

What’s on the docket?

  • A quick refresher on Todd and Alexia’s whirlwind relationship
  • Todd’s Instagram rants, “how to make millions” videos, and possible suspicious Reddit activity
  • Todd’s lawsuit against Bravo and the dramatic allegations inside the filing
  • What counts as defamation under Florida law
  • The release agreement he signed with Bravo and how it complicates his claims
  • What Todd is actually seeking in the suit — and if he has a shot
